Chapter 129: Chapter 129: After Assimilation, 2nd Infinity Stone

    The assimilation had went...swimmingly, as Gwen awoke to a new level of power. Her body was passively and constantly absorbing the radiation the sun emitted, as she felt the changes to her cores, not increasing their purity or color, but their size (massively) and potency. She could also feel the power of the Herrschers in her veins, as she instinctively felt her own control over all forms of corruption and everything related to the two Herrschers.

    ''...It seems that absorbing the Infinity Stones might not take as long as I initially thought'' Gwen thought, as she began to realize what sort of uses this new power had, on top of the power of Issei, which included the Boosted Gear, and all the forms that the teen had gained (Not including the ones relying on Ophis and Great Red).

    ''... How does boost work now? I could already double my power with Ddraig, but with the pervert as well? Does this mean I can quadruple my power every 10 seconds or even shorter? That is definitely something that I''ll need to test the second I can'' Gwen thought, humming as she began to think of a new way of absorbing and severing the infinity stones.

    ''Perhaps Penetrate could be of use to me, as well as Transfer. If I combine them with Canis Lykaon and the Power of Destruction...I might be able to sever the bond between the Stones and the MCU much easier than before'' Gwen contemplated. She knew that the combination could potentially give her a less complicated and draining way of doing it, now it just relied on her accomplishing this.

    ''The Time Stone should go next, then the Reality Stone, then Power, finishing with Soul. The Power stone would have been my first choice, but it is much more...resilient than the others, with the soul stone being even more so'' Gwen thought. The Power Stone was a source of "Infinite" power, but it was also a very very very complicated little object, due to it having the second most intricate connection to the MCU. For the Power Stone was the very "Power" of the universe, and was deeply connected to it.

    Should she be able to accomplish the severing, then this stone would connect to every universe she travels to (Granted she starts the bond) and boost all her attributes at a passive rate that would constantly increase her power, as well as give her an infinite power source to pull upon.

    She wondered what sort of effect it would have on her cores and the matrix of leadership that was within her. If it worked like she expected, then it should combine with them and make her "Cores" far more potent than before.

    But for now, Gwen decided to go back to sleep, giggling softly as she heard the snores of her girlfriends, as they cuddled up around her.

    [Several days later]

    Several days had passed since the assimilation of her new characters, and the new idea for the severing of stones. And as Gwen had hypothesised, she had managed to sever the Time Stone faster than she did before, with less energy being required.

    The severing had been done on a distant planet like before, with the Time Stone being absorbed soon after, as it adapted to the changes of being bonded to another universe, one drastically weaker than the MCU. Like before, this had completed another quest, being quite similar to the last one.

    But at the moment Gwen was sitting across from Ozpin, an eyebrow raised as she processed what the man had just said.

    "So you want me to enter the festival as an individual, and face off against the different teams, alone?" Gwen repeated, as the man nodded.

    "Yes, I believe it will be a good test for you. After All, I do believe you have grown bored while at Beacon, correct?" Ozpin asked, knowing that she was not only far more skilled than anything in Beacon, but also far above even the best of Huntsmen/Huntresses he had seen in his years (something that still continued to confuse him, as he didn''t understand how that

    was possible).

    Gwen went silent for a few moments in thought, before slowly she grinned and replied. "So...what team will I face first?"

    Next chapter will be the tournament, and then more will be happening in the coming chapters, with RWBY (and this admittedly bad volume/arc) being done in the next 5-7 chapters. I only now realized that this arc is in fact, longer than the Korra one, which is...not good tbh. Next volume will have the much needed romance, dates, etc that this arc was missing, as...I just didn''t know how to write it in RWBY.

    The next volume will be MUCH better than this one, well...hopefully. It''ll also be the longest

    arc by far.

    I am currently sick (Got the Flu) so writing is...not fun, so this and the next couple of chapters
