CHAPTER 67: CH 67

After aria teased her back with her own remark to her, ember doesn’t reply but just clicked her tongue as she left the topic in between to get ready and climbed the first tree which is just beside the river with the green cloth between.

Her hands was holding the rope from its one end, while I also grab the same rope from its other end and tied it with tightly one of my hand.

Aria after seeing that other two has already taken thier own place, also moved towards her position where she is needed to be as according to the strategy. Soon, she reached near the second tree which is just beside the magma pool and sat below it. (Tree not magma)

After that, all three of us get rooted at where we were without any talking and started waiting for our targets to arrive.

Finally after a long wait, our moment to shine arrived as a group of wolves made thier way slowly moving towards me.

Watching thier large bodies coming right in my direction, I immediately signalled ember who was holding the rope as she also signalled aria as all of us get ready.

I immediately pick up a rock and throwed it one of them as to get thier attention and the truck work wonders as they give a huge roar of anger and all of them started running towards me with the wind wolf in the lead because of its speed.

"At my command!!" I shouted knowing that it is heard by her and take out my non tied arm and half open my thumb while point my first finger to the incoming wolf.

Perhaps angered even more by my finger, it increased its speed even more opened its mouth when the distance was just negligible to bite my whole hand in one go.

"Now !!"I shouted and immediately felt a great pull on my right hand but I was ready for it and let my body get pulled, on the top of that, to increase my speed even more, I let my thumb be fully straight.

"!!BOOM!!"

I felt a force even greater than before forcing me in the same direction with even greater speed and force.

Ember who was the one who throwed me away also let go of the rope and let me fly for some moment.

Even though the scenary up here is beautiful with a great green landscape and a dark demon world type sky, I don’t get much time to appreciate it.

"Ahhh!!"

Even in the sky, I was able to hear a painful cry as a broad smile appears on my face without me even realising.

Even though it is an F rank skill used against an E rank monster, it still proved to be very effective because it was shooted directly inside the opponent mouth from a distance of only one foot.

But I know that that wasn’t enough to kill that thing, but if I was able to shoot three or four more mana bullet inside its mouth, then I will be easily able to kill it but that task alone isn’t easy especially with my limited mastery of my speels.

After all these days, my mastery over mana bullet and mana barrier has reached expert level while mana punch is still at novice level as I don’t get too many chances to use it.

But I still can’t even feel the tip of reaching master level in mastery in my spells.

Though I can feel that if I want to, I can make it into a skill but that would be like limiting it’s potential usages.

While skills evolve in a very much pre - determined order, a spell once master to God level is only limited by users power and imagination.

Anyway, even if I don’t kill it, I was still able to hurt it in some extent and slow it down which was still satisfying enough.

Soon, I neared the ground and my eyes feel on the beauty who was standing with her arms open wide to caught me.

I also smiled and soon was dropped in those arms which may look fragile but still held a good amount of power.

"You are heavy." Aria said when she failed to caught me but none minded still both of us were still safe, ust that we were now on the ground with me above her.

"Thanks for saving me dear." I said and kissed her which greatly suprised her.

"You know the situation we are in right."

A slashing sound was heard as soon as she reminded me of our situation, not like I really forgot about it but, who will miss such a great chance to kiss a beauty.

Soon, I also stand and climbed the tree while giving her one end of the rope which wasn’t tied to me anymore after I opened it while I was on my way to her, after that I get ready to throw her up.

Yes, up. Not side ways not up side, but not at perfect 90 digree angle, just enough so that she crossed the pool and can safely land on the other side of the magma.

After throwing alex, she watched how that particular wolf which was hit by alex let out a cry full of pain as all other wolves in the pack also become a gry when they saw one of their pack member was attack as without thinking anything, they immediately pass through the gree cloth which was left hanging in thier way.

The wind wolf which was crying in pain also joined the however what they can’t even think was that on the other side of this piece of cloth was a river, they tried stopping after seeing the river but failed to do so.

All of them soon fall in the river, while this did nothing to water wolf and wind wolf, the impact of the river was quite clear on the fire wolf and earth wolf.

As the cold water poured on thier bodies, the fire on the body of fire wolf started dimming down. With a lot of difficulty, it somehow crossed the river.

Even if the water wasn’t enough to kill it, but it still did it’s work, which can be clearly seen how weak it was from before.

The first one to cross the river and emerge outside from the other side was the water wolf, she was followed by the wind wolf and it was then that the fire wolf made its way out of the river.

But the last one to leave the river was the earth wolf. It’s 70 percent of body was made up of rocks, however in the last 30 percent, only about 5 percent is flesh while the rest of her body only had mud in between which works to bind the rocks together.

That mud however was almost gone because of heavy flow of water, this wolf also had the most impact because of how long time it spend in water due to its slow speed, and now, cracks could be seen on its rocks and there were also a lot of empty places on its body caused because the mud in between there is already gone.

As all of them have crossed, anger could be clearly seen in thier eyes as thier eyes scanned around to again found thier target but failed to do so as the previous person who hit them but failed to do so.

All they could see was a human women standing at a distance. Not finding thier previous target, all of thier anger was now directed towards the only human they could see, who happened to be alia.

With anger in thier eyes, all of them again ran with water and wind wolf taking the lead with water wolf stronger than before after spending some time in water while wind wolf sower than before because of injuries and then cold salty water of river.

Meanwhile behind them was fire wolf which was in a weakened state then before and it can be clearly seen with its speed and its way of moving.

And behind all of them was the earth wolf which was also heavily hit by the water waves and was moving slowly, so slowly that it’s speed was about half the speed of water wolf now.

Ember who was still on the tree smiled at it and take out her spears, she had two Peak E rank spears meanwhile all other weapons of hers, about 10 to 15 were either early stage E rank weapons or are of F rank.

She pick up her best and her favourite spear and aimed it at the fire wolf. It was important to hunt that wolf as soon as possible because if it reached the magma pool, then it might help it in recovery which is the last thing they want because at its peak, fire wolf is the one with most destructive power.
