SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God
Chapter 358: This is what a Lord deserves
CHAPTER 358: THIS IS WHAT A LORD DESERVES
When Damon felt as if he was far enough, he directly used the system skill of the Blood Hall’s Lord and teleported to the Blood Hall from the great plains.
In the blink of an eye, the grassy plains, the suffocating tension, and Aiden’s maddening smile vanished. The world folded in on itself until Damon’s boots struck the polished obsidian floor of his Blood Hall once more.
He exhaled slowly, his crimson gaze narrowing. On his interface, the number 2,500,000,000 shone like a mountain of gold, the proof that the trade had succeeded. He had actually expected this meet-up to be a lot more chaotic, but this was... different.
Damon stared silently at nothing in particular and then shook himself like a dog that just got out of water. "Fuck. That bastard is really something." He once again tried to shake off that creepy feeling clinging to his skin, but there was no denying it.
Just who the hell was the guy?
Erin, who had been idly twirling her hair in the corner of the chamber, perked up immediately. Her eyes lit up on seeing Damon return, and she immediately rushed over to him. Seeing that he was not in the best mood, she quickly suggested. "Might I serve my Lord with a gentle, relaxing massage?"
"Huh?" Damon looked at her in confusion. Since when did draconic snakes offer massages as if it were the most natural thing for them to do?
His gaze then swept across the room, falling on two other figures who were waiting for him. One was Kael, and the other was the idiot whom he hadn’t seen in a while. Riven.
One look at Riven’s awkward and sheepish face, Damon could instantly tell who was responsible for teaching Erin about massages.
But he did not reject the offer. After hours of training and what he had just gone through, he deserved a good massage and a few minutes of relaxation. He ignored the idiot trying to hide his face away from him and nodded at Erin.
"Let’s do it. I think there should be a bed and bath here somewhere."
Kael quickly stepped forward and filled in on the details. "There is, my Lord. A chamber was prepared for you the moment you claimed this Hall. Bathing pools, heated stone beds, and a resting alcove, all at your disposal. I’ll guide you there."
Erin immediately brightened, her blue-green eyes shimmering with delight at being given the chance. She slipped to Damon’s side, practically skipping with eagerness.
"Then allow me, my Lord. I will ensure your every muscle is loosened, every ounce of fatigue banished. By the time I’m finished, you’ll feel reborn!" The way she said it sounded less like an offer of comfort and more like a gleeful promise of torment.
Meanwhile, Riven coughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck, deliberately turning his face away. Damon ignored the guy’s fumbling attempts to act innocent and followed Kaelthorn. He was honestly a little excited about the whole thing.
If there was one thing vampires were good at, it was indulgence. The nobles ones in particular knew how to live it up. He followed Kaelthorn through the blackened corridors of the Blood Hall. This time, the oppressive air inside the Blood Hall was replaced by the decadent comfort of vampiric luxury.
The chamber they arrived at was exactly what Damon expected from his Hall, an indulgent sanctum carved for rulers.
A vast crystal bath sat at the center, its walls glimmering faintly under the blood-red glow of enchanted sconces. Steam drifted lazily upward, carrying with it the intoxicating scent of fresh blood. Not ordinary blood, but something rare, something potent.
Damon inhaled deeply, his vampiric instincts immediately recognizing the richness of the essence within. It wasn’t just a bath, it was a restoration pool, filled with the lifeblood of beasts at least rare grade or higher. Each drop pulsed faintly with mana, promising to soothe wounds, restore vitality, and strengthen the body in subtle ways.
Nearby stood a massive bed, luxurious to the point of decadence. Silken sheets dyed in the deepest shade of crimson covered it, soft enough to swallow a man whole in their folds. Thick velvet curtains hung from the canopy, enchanted to block out sound and light at the Lord’s command.
To one side of the chamber, obsidian shelves lined the wall, displaying decanters of thick bloodwine and trays of fruits that shimmered faintly with mana. Opposite the shelves, a low dais held heated stone slabs, clearly designed for treatment and recovery.
The whole setup was even better than his master bedroom in his personal castle back in the real world. Damon made a mental note to order La Rocha to bring up the castle to these standards. It looked like the damned guy was holding out on him!
"Now this... this is what a lord deserves." Damon pulled off his cloak, tossing it to the side with little care. He quickly started taking out his gear when Erin stepped forward eagerly to help him do it.
Damon shrugged and accepted the royal treatment. "When in Rome..." He smiled and let out a big sigh, relaxing his shoulders completely.
Erin’s nimble fingers were quick to unbuckle the last of his armor straps, her movements smooth yet almost worshipful, as though undressing him was some sort of sacred ritual.
Damon allowed it, sinking into the role without guilt. He had earned this moment. The weight of his cloak and gear slid from his shoulders, leaving him lighter, freer, his body sighing with relief.
Steam from the blood bath coiled around him like a living thing, clinging to his skin, sinking into his senses. The heady, iron-rich fragrance made his veins stir. He stepped into the bath feeling the blood completely embrace him. His vampiric instincts roared awake.
It wasn’t just warmth that wrapped around him, it was power, raw, rich, intoxicating power. The essence of rare beasts carried mana that thrummed against his veins, each pulse stitching fatigue away, reforging muscle and spirit alike.
He tilted his head back against the edge of the bath, his crimson gaze half-lidded, savoring the rush. His skin prickled, his senses relaxed, and the tension coiled in his body unraveled.
A couple seconds later, he felt a warm and soft body hug him from behind.
