CHAPTER 117: THOSE SSS-RANK DEMON KINGS MIGHT BE BLIND

After the SS-rank Leviathan was assimilated into the Hive Mind, Ainsworth immediately became aware of it.

While he was lying on a tall and thick branch, he languidly raised his hand and crushed the space in front of him.

Feeling the coordinates of the SS-rank Leviathan that was a few continents away from him, his hand reached out to it.

The SS-rank Leviathan saw a huge human hand appear in a space crack above the sky and reach out to it, but it didn’t resist it as it knew that it was its Lord God’s hand.

The gigantic hand scooped out the SS-rank Leviathan from the ocean and shrunk its hundred-meter-tall sea serpent size into that of a small worm-like figure.

When Ainsworth retracted his hand, a small sea serpent appeared on top of his palm, which was none other than SS-rank Leviathan.

The space crack disappeared as if it didn’t exist, and Ainsworth couldn’t help but sigh. "From the looks of it, these SS-rank Monster Lords couldn’t even let me use even a tenth of my power. Perhaps only the SSS-rank Monster King or those SSS-rank Demon Kings could make me use my full power."

With a wave of his hand, the SS-rank Leviathan disappeared on his palm as it was stored inside a strand of his hair. There were already six SS-rank Monster Lords stored inside Ainsworth’s hair strands, yet these Monster Lords couldn’t even let him take them seriously.

They were SS-rank Monster Lords capable of sinking continents, and just any one of them could end the Zombie Apocalypse World if given enough time.

But when facing Ainsworth, they were as weak as a bug. Just a casual move from him could easily assimilate them into the Hive Mind and transform them into his loyal subordinates.

At first, Ainsworth had braced himself for the danger of counterinvading the Monster World. Yet, even when he spent thirty minutes here, it looked like he was on vacation rather than invading it.

He was already feeling bored doing nothing but napping on a tree branch here.

Feeling impatient, Ainsworth asked the Voice Of The World, "Have the SSS-rank Demon Kings noticed my actions or are they blind to it?"

He was curious if those Demon Kings were that blind. Although he used Unremarkable Presence (SS) to hide himself, those SSS-rank Demon Kings should still be powerful enough to find him if they look for him seriously.

He even deactivated his Ultimate Freedom (SSS) from enhancing his Unremarkable Presence (SS) as he had already achieved his goal since counterinvading the Monster World.

Ainsworth’s monster virus had already deeply rooted itself in the Monster World, so if given enough time, all the monsters would be inevitably assimilated into his Hive Mind.

Furthermore, he had already gained six SS-rank Monster Lords as his subordinates, so he was already satisfied with his trip in the Monster World.

Since he had already completed his goals, he no longer hid himself and planned to at least fight an SSS-rank Demon King to test his strength against them.

[The SSS-rank Demon Kings hadn’t noticed your presence yet. Or rather, they were too preoccupied in dealing with the SSS-rank Awakeners.]

[You didn’t invade the Demon World but only the Monster World, and in the Demon Kings’ eyes, they only treated this world as a mere chess piece that could be discarded at will.]

[Furthermore, you didn’t cause any loud commotion, and you used the monsters native to this world to deal with those other monsters, so it didn’t attract any attention.]

[Even when you had intervened when dealing with those SS-rank Monster Lords like the SS-rank Leviathan, your actions were quick and decisive, so the SSS-rank Demon Kings could only discern that someone invaded the Monster World.]

[They aren’t aware of your current location or even how powerful you are. Furthermore, they don’t seem to care as their attention is centered on dealing with those SSS-rank Awakeners.]

Hearing the Voice Of The World’s response, Ainsworth pondered, ’Should I go all out, transform into the monster virus, and deeply infect this world? That will cause a commotion loud enough to attract those SSS-rank Demon Kings.’

’The only problem is whether I can attract more than one SSS-rank Demon King. No matter how confident I am with my power, it’s still too risky to deal with multiple SSS-rank Demon Kings as I undoubtedly can’t defeat them that way unless it’s a one-versus-one battle.’

’But... I really want to test my powers against them. I’ve already become an SS-rank Awakener, yet I still haven’t fully gone all out or participated in a battle with my life on the line.’

When Ainsworth thought about that, he contemplated, ’However, unlike other Awakeners, I don’t necessarily need to fight against stronger opponents to gain combat experience or fight a battle with my life on the line.’

’On one hand, it’s too risky, and my cautiousness won’t allow it. On the other hand, I don’t need combat experience. Unlike those Awakeners who needed a life and death battle to fully integrate and wield the power they recently upgraded, I don’t have such needs.’

’No matter how powerful I become, as long as it doesn’t exceed God-Level proficiency, then I won’t need combat experience, as God-Level Cooking is enough to compensate for my lack of combat experience. After all, it includes knife techniques and whatnot, so even I have a way to cook SSS-rank Demon Kings and use dishes made from their flesh to improve an Awakener’s power.’

As a talent and proficiency at God-Level, the God-Level Cooking talent had almost all ingredients, cooking methods, etc, that a cook could think of. There were even methods on how to cook and make inedible materials like rocks into food.

After he pondered for a while, Ainsworth shook his head. ’No, it’s too risky to fight SSS-rank Demon Kings as I might get surrounded by them and lose my life. I’ve already collected enough SS-rank Monster Lords, and it won’t be long before the Monster World will be completely infected by the monster virus, so it’s not worth the risk.’

However, just as Ainsworth was about to leave, a loud explosion sound reverberated throughout the entire Monster World, attracting his attention!
