CHAPTER 135: ELYNDRA’S ARMY INVADES THE DEMON WORLD!

The atmosphere lightened for a moment, but the shards of the throne hovering in the air pulsed brighter, reminding them of the task at hand. Elyndra’s hand tightened slightly around her sword.

"Jokes aside," Elyndra said, her voice carrying the weight of a sovereign decree, "we’ve conquered kingdoms, subdued dukes and kings, and cleansed the land from demonic corruption. The Valford Empire stands united. Now, we finish this. We restore the Throne of Unity and complete this Hell-Level Otherworld Mission."

The shards hummed louder, as if acknowledging her words.

From her pillow, Mira’s dreamlike voice added softly, "...And this time, it won’t shatter again... not under our judgment."

They all agreed with Mira as they were confident of preventing the SS-rank Throne of Unity from shattering again.

Although the Throne of Unity hadn’t pieced itself together yet, Aria and Nyx no longer intervened and just waited patiently.

Mira had already used her class exclusive skill Indolent Tribunal (SSS) to passively release judgment on the Throne of Unity.

As she had suggested before, they shouldn’t interfere and just let it judge itself on how it should be complete again. They had already determined that the Throne of Unity was a fully sentient and semi-sapient artifact.

While waiting for the Throne of Unity to reassemble itself, Nyx stopped reading her book and informed them, "While I was researching the components of the Throne of Unity’s fragments, I discovered that it seems to contain world origin. Or rather, almost half of the world will be of the Shattered Throne World."

Hearing Nyx’s information, Mira languidly commented, "The Throne of Unity indeed contains almost half of the Shattered Throne World’s Will. The Shattered Throne World had likely chosen the lesser evil between the Demon World and Earth, ultimately deciding that having Awakeners own it was far better than being devoured by the Demon World.

As a former A-rank world, the Shattered Throne World has decent potential for development, and so the Earth Will accepted its request to save it from the Demon World and agreed not to recycle the Shattered Throne World.

Of course, the fate of the Shattered Throne World truly rested on them and not the Earth Will, since as long as they obtained full ownership of it, even the world will wouldn’t be able to stop them if they decided to recycle it for some world origin.

Although it was unfortunate that they couldn’t complete any hidden missions related to the protagonist, they weren’t discouraged as Elyndra decided, "Before the Throne of Unity is completed, we’ll attack the Demon World and slay the Demon King."

"Even if the A-rank Demon King is as strong as a Three-Star A-rank Awakener, my current power is already enough to deal with even a One-Star S-rank Awakener due to the establishment of the Valford Empire."

Although they never truly believed that they were on the side of good or justice, it didn’t stop them from standing on it.

Good and evil were merely the two sides of the same coin. The Demon King was only evil in the eyes of the human race, who suffered from its atrocities.

But for those demons, the Demon King was a wise and powerful king who led them to victory countless times.

From that perspective, Elyndra and the Demon King weren’t that different. However, as the Empress of Humanity in the Shattered Throne World, Elyndra planned to take advantage of her having the strongest power to paint the demons as evil and let them be stepping stones for the Valford Empire’s first historical achievement!

With their plan already set in motion, Elyndra stood up from her seat.

Mira already guessed what she planned to do, so she let the floating pillow take her to Elyndra’s side while her servants followed to protect her.

Holding her sword, Elyndra declared, "I order you to transport Mira, Isolde, my army, and I to the Demon World!"

The "you" she referred to was reality itself. As a Tyrannical Ruler, her authority even allowed her to order reality, and although it cost her mana, reality heeded her command.

The fabrics of reality distorted, and in under a second, Elyndra, Isolde, and Mira disappeared from the throne room.

Aria and Nyx, who were left behind, didn’t slack off as they knew that they were in charge of protecting the Throne of Unity.

Throughout the territories of the Valford Empire, all soldiers disappeared, but they didn’t panic as they already knew that it was their Empress’ will to let them fight against the demons!

The Demon World was a land drenched in perpetual twilight, where the skies churned with storm clouds the color of bruised flesh and lightning cracked in silence.

Blackened mountains clawed upward like the jagged teeth of an ancient beast, their slopes slick with rivers of molten ash. The ground pulsed faintly with crimson light, veins of corrupted mana threading through obsidian soil.

The air itself felt heavy, thick with the scent of brimstone and decay, and every breath seemed to carry a whisper of malice.

Forests of twisted bone-like trees swayed without wind, their pale bark marked by the claw marks of predators that hunted without rest.

In the distance, fortress-citadels of black iron loomed, their spires spearing into the clouds, each surrounded by moats of bubbling tar. The land was alive, in the way a predator is alive, watching and waiting.

It was into this hostile realm that Elyndra, Mira, Isolde, and the entire Valford army appeared in an instant, the distortion of reality snapping shut behind them.
