CHAPTER 177: CHAPTER 177 NIGHT SKY

Now the sky was dark, and Roman couldn’t see a moon, but there were stars scattered across the night sky. However, the palace was different; even though it was night, he could still see everything as if it were morning.

Crystal littered the entire palace even the training ground and the walkways had dim light coming from the grass close to them.

None of the girls were training anymore, and most of them were already inside, but Roman was still out on the ground, facing the sky.

Aurelia wasn’t training anymore as she also sat on the ground, same as Reina and Ava, who were the ones who didn’t return inside.

"Hey Roman, are you worried about your match tomorrow?" Ava asked as she turned towards him.

"Not in the slightest, I’m sure I’ll probably face Aurelia tomorrow, but I don’t have any reason to be worried, I’m going to win either way," Roman replied, causing Aurelia to chuckle.

"What makes you think we’ll face each other? You might face Reina here, and if by chance you do face me tomorrow, the match would be over in a second," Aurelia spoke.

"Ohh, that’s what being confident sounds like, I’ll love to watch both of you fight, and most importantly, I’ll love to see Roman give his all," Ava spoke.

"I’ll also love to face you, Aurelia. I’m not confident I’ll win, but I’ll definitely show how strong I am," Reina added.

"As an S-rank, if you continue training, I mean, real training, not what we’re currently doing in the academy, you’ll be stronger than me before we are done with the academy," Aurelia spoke.

"The training is like this because it’s just the beginning, I’m pretty sure it’ll get even more serious when the Class 2 and 3 students arrive" Ava spoke.

"I forgot to ask you something, Ava. What is that spell you used today?" Aurelia asked.

"Ohh, it’s something I’ve been working on for a while, I just haven’t had the chance to use it in a proper fight, today seemed like a good time to show off in front of everyone so I used it, I could have won without it but what fun would it be" Ava replied with a smile on her face.

"I had no idea you could control that amount of firepower, why didn’t you use it back when that demon attacked?" Aurelia asked her.

"I haven’t mastered the spell too well back then, and I could do it but you could get caught in it, but during the match, the barrier was enough assurance to use it, and besides did you see my hands afterwards, just holding the spell for that long was enough to eat through the barrier covering my hands" Ava added.

"I don’t think my enchantment would be able to take the spell, to be honest, if I were your opponent today, I would have lost the fight," Aurelia muttered.

"If it were you, Ava wouldn’t have used the spell; she would have fought normally because she would think there’s a chance the spell wouldn’t work." Roman joined the conversation.

Ava laughed softly and nodded her head, "Maybe or maybe not, we’ll never know. Reina, who would you like to face?"

"I don’t have any preference, it’s not like I’m trying to win the tournament, though I’d like to show off a little," Reina replied.

"You’re not planning to win, then you should have lost back at the mini tournament" Aurelia replied.

"I was trying to mask the fact that I’m not going to win, even though I actually gave it my best, I wouldn’t make it to the finals," Reina spoke.

"You still haven’t shown your new summon, are you going to reveal it tomorrow or in a much important round?" Ava asked Reina.

"If I’m facing Aurelia or Roman, I might have to reveal it, and when I do, I hope you’re surprised enough for me to get the win," Reina said with a smile.

"Roman, is something wrong?" Ava asked as she looked at him.

Roman wasn’t focused on their conversation again; instead, he was looking at the sky and thinking about his dream again. His eyes were just staring blankly, and Ava saw him.

Roman didn’t even hear her talking, he wasn’t focused on the conversation anymore, and now the girls turned to look at him. Then Reina tapped his shoulder.

"Roman?"

"Huh! What?" Roman muttered as he turned towards her.

"Is something wrong?" Ava asked again.

"Nothing, I’m just thinking about something else" Roman spoke.

"I think we’ve been outside too long, we should probably go inside" Aurelia muttered.

"Or maybe we should have sex here, there’s no one here other than us, there’s a nice stand over there," Ava said with a mischievous smile on her face.

"I don’t think it’s a good idea to have sex here, but if Roman wants, I’m also with Ava" Reina added immediately.

"You might think there’s no one watching, but there always is. Someone is watching us from on top of the building, from afar, and perhaps even closer. You’ll be surprised," Aurelia spoke.

"Really" Reina mumbled as she looked at the top of the building, she couldn’t see the top but from here she couldn’t see anyone watching them.

"I think I’m going to turn in for the night, tomorrow is a big day after all" Roman spoke as he stood up.

The girls also stood up, and the four of them walked back to the main building. Roman didn’t answer Ava, not that he didn’t want to have sex, but he just wasn’t feeling that good.

He came outside to get the dream off his mind, and he actually did but now it was back and consuming his thoughts.

Roman continued forward towards his own room as he broke away from the girls. The inside of the palace was even brighter than the outside, and once he arrived, a meal was already waiting for him inside.
