Lin Fan hurriedly answered: "Mom, what’s up?"

Mrs. Lin first went through the usual routine of asking about his job and health before getting to the main point.

"Here’s the thing, Little Fan, I’m calling because your third uncle is planning to seek medical treatment in Yun City. Can you help him book a hospital bed?" Mrs. Lin said.

Lin Fan’s third uncle, Lin Dawei, had a good relationship with Lin Fan and had taken care of him quite a bit when he was young.

Lin Fan asked with concern, "What’s wrong with Uncle? Has he contacted a doctor?"

Mrs. Lin said, "He has liver disease. The doctor in the county suggested he be hospitalized in a big city. He’s already made an appointment with Dr. Guo Yu, a liver disease expert at Yun City People’s Hospital. He will arrive in Yun City tomorrow."

Lin Fan said, "Okay, I’ll arrange it at the hospital right now."

The elder looked apologetic and helpless.

"Little friend, why don’t you let your brother help you build it?" Lin Fan suddenly approached with a smile.

He then turned to the elder and said, "Mind if I help?"

Lin Fan sat down in front of the child and asked with a smile, "Little friend, what do you want to build?"

The little boy, still in tears, said, "I want to build a dinosaur."

Lin Fan replied, "Alright, brother will help you build a dinosaur."

Lin Fan glanced at the messy pile of blocks.

His top-notch craftsmanship kicked in.

With his swift hands, the scattered blocks quickly came together, and soon, a lifelike dinosaur was assembled.

The little boy was stunned, momentarily forgetting to cry.

The elderly beside them was also quite surprised; this young man was impressive.

"Do you like it, little buddy?" Lin Fan asked with a smile.

The little boy broke into a smile through his tears: "I like it!"

He was captivated by the dinosaur in front of him.

The little boy said sweetly, "Thank you, big brother."

Lin Fan replied, "It’s nothing, just lending a hand. I shall return to my meal now."

The elderly glanced at Su Jinjin and said hurriedly, "Alright, sorry for interrupting your time with your girlfriend."

Lin Fan smiled but didn’t correct him, then returned to sit opposite Su Jinjin.

Su Jinjin had been watching the whole time, seeing Lin Fan patiently teaching the little boy. She found herself a bit captivated by the scene.

The man was a middle-aged fellow, balding and with a protruding belly, accompanied by a nurse with another woman, about thirty years old. The man seemed overly ingratiating, saying, "Not a problem, I’m the vice dean here. It’s easy to arrange, especially for my cousin calling me directly."
