Chapter b68 /b

Giselle took a deep breath, then spoke in a low, resigned voice.

“Mr. Andrian is in critical condition due to severe blood loss. He needs an immediate transfusion, but we haven’t found apatible donor. If this continues, his condition will deteriorate to a fatal point.”

Aliana remained silent as she listened to Giselle’s exnation, her mind working quickly. Her suspicion about Andrian had proven true, but it turned out his condition was far more serious than she had imagined.

“Does Andrian have a rare blood type?” Aliana asked quickly.

Giselle nodded slowly. “Yes. AB negative. It’s extremely hard to find a matching donor. We’ve tried every hospital connection, including regional blood banks, but so far we haven’t found a single match. If Mr. Andrian doesn’t receive blood within the next six hours, the chances of multi–organ failure will be very high.

Aliana fell silent for a moment, her mind already forming a n. She realized this situation might be an advantage for her in the future. Andrian’s illness could be leveraged if used wisely. But as a doctor, she also knew the most important thing right now was to save his life.

    “I’ll be the donor.”

Giselle gasped, staring at Aliana in shock. “But… What’s your blood type-”

“AB negative,” Aliana interrupted firmly and confidently.

Giselle fell silent at once, her eyes widening in surprise and relief.

Aliana reaffirmed her decision, “I will donate my blood, but on one condition–no one is to know about this. Not Andrian, not anyone. No one can find out that I’m the donor.”

Giselle looked confused and curious. “Why does it have to be kept secret from your own husband?”

Giselle took a deep breath before continuing to exin Andrian’s condition, her face filled with unease.

“I have my own reasons,” Aliana replied coldly. “You don’t need to know, and don’t ask any further.”

Giselle nodded quietly, not daring to press the matter.

“Alright. Follow me. We’ll go to theb using the emergency stairwell.”

Without another word, the two moved quickly. The upper floors of the hospital were still tightly secured by the Velor family’s private security team. Giselle knew that even Andrian’s rtives weren’t allowed past the sterile perimeter that

    had been established.

Aliana followed Giselle down the dim stairwell toward theboratory floor, her steps steady but cautious.

In the quiet basement corridor of the hospital, Aliana’s mind kept circling around one question–who had been regrly donating blood to Andrian all this time? The thought gnawed at her relentlessly.

Upon arriving at theb, Giselle signaled the attending nurse to leave. The procedure began immediately. Aliana rolled up

her sleeve for a blood sample to be taken.

As the needle pierced her skin, dark red blood slowly began to flow into the transfusion tube. Aliana turned toward Giselle, who was closely monitoring the process with careful attention.

“Giselle,” Aliana began, her voice calm but serious, “What exactly is Andrian’s illness? The symptoms I observed–extreme paleness, weakness, shortness of breath, loss of bnce, and possible telet drop–do they point to acute leukemia? Or maybe myelodysstic syndrome?”

Giselle hesitated for a moment, visibly uncertain and uneasy. But Aliana’s resolute gaze pushed her to respond. She knew

the woman wouldn’t stop until she got an answer.

“Mr. Andrian does not have leukemia or myelodyssia. He suffers from bone marrow asia.”

    “Bone marrow asia?”

Aliana’s eyes widened in shock. She hadn’t expected Andrian’s condition to be that severe.

As a doctor, Aliana knew bone marrow asia was a serious condition where the bone marrow no longer produces enough blood cells–red, white, or telets. Without routine transfusions, the patient could suffer from severe anemia, life–threatening infections, or fatal bleeding that could lead to death.

“How long has Andrian had this condition?” Aliana asked again, her tone now tinged with disbelief.

“I don’t know for sure. The information is very limited. Only a small circle around Mr. Andrian is aware of it–even his family doesn’t know much. I myself only learned about it a year ago when I was selected as part of his private medical

    team.”

Aliana nodded in understanding, then fixed her gaze on Giselle.

“Who’s the regr donor that’s been keeping Andrian alive?”

Giselle fell silent, clearly ufortable. She bit her lip, as if debating whether to reveal the answer.

“I promise I’ll keep it a secret, Giselle,” Aliana said firmly. “No one else will hear it from me.”

Giselle reluctantly gave in. She looked into Aliana’s eyes and whispered softly, “Miss Bianca.”

Aliana froze. Shocked by the revtion. She had never imagined that Bianca had been Andrian’s regr donor all this

    time.

“The blood draw isplete,” Giselle said. She gently pulled the needle from Aliana’s arm, covered the small wound with

sterile gauze, and pressed it gently before wrapping it.

Aliana stood up from the donor bchair /bcalmly. She adjusted her sleeve, then nced at Giselle.

“Remember, no one can know that I donated that blood. You must keep your mouth shut.”

“I understand,” Giselle nodded softly. “I promise I’ll keep it a secret.”

Without another word, Aliana walked out of theboratory room. Her face showed no expression, but her mind was in

    absolute turmoil.

Aliana never expected that Andrian and Bianca’s rtionship was far moreplicated than she had imagined.

After descending a few flights of stairs, Aliana quickly entered the elevator and pressed the button to the basement.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, Elena—who had been waiting–immediately approached her. Seeing Aliana’s slightly pale face, she asked worriedly.

“Miss, what happened? Are you alright?”

Aliana gave a brief nod. “I’m fine, Elena. Don’t worry.”

Without further questions, Elena apanied Aliana into the car, and they drove away from the hospital.

During the ride home, Aliana remained silent, her mind busy formting a n. She kept thinking about how to turn Andrian’s illness into an advantage for herself–especially as part of her revenge for Alicia.

If Andrian’s health condition was a major weakness she could exploit, Aliana wouldn’t hesitate. She would find the perfect way to use it against Bianca and destroy their rtionship at its core.

At the hospital, Bianca slowly opened her eyes, her consciousness still foggy. The bright white light above her made her vision blurry for a moment. Gradually, she realized she was in a hospital room. She tried to sit up, but sharp pain in her face and shoulder made her cry out.

“Doctor!” a nurse called out as soon as she noticed Bianca was awake. “Miss Bianca is awake!”

Secondster, the attending physician arrived with a medical team. Bianca immediately noticed the tense expressions on their faces.

“What happened to me?” Bianca asked hoarsely, fear in her voice as she reached for her face, partially covered in bandages.

The female doctor standing closest responded cautiously, “Miss Bianca, you sustained serious injuries to your face and shoulder due to an attack. We’ve already performed emergency surgery, but…”

“But what?!” Bianca cut her off sharply.

“The scars on your face may be difficult to fully remove,” the doctor answered hesitantly.

“Give me a mirror,” Bianca said in a panic, “Now!”

“Miss, perhaps it would be best if ”

“Give it to me right now!” Bianca screamed hysterically.

Reluctantly, a nurse handed her a small mirror. The moment Bianca saw her face–bandaged and clearly damaged–her eyes widened. She screamed in horror, tears streaming down her cheeks.

“No! This can’t be happening!” Bianca shouted, throwing the mirror to the floor, shattering it into pieces. “Who did this to me?! Who did this?!”

The medical staff remained silent–none dared to respond. Bianca tried to calm herself, though her breathing remainedbored from panic. Suddenly, she remembered Andrian.

“Where is Andrian? Does he know I was this badly hurt? I want to see him now!”

The doctor hesitated for a moment, exchanging nces with the nurses. Seeing their reaction, Bianca immediately grew suspicious.

“Why are you all silent? Where is Andrian? Answer me!”

“Miss Bianca,” the doctor finally replied carefully, “Mr. Andrian… is also being treated.”

Bianca’s eyes widened in shock. “What do you mean? What happened to Andrian?!”

The doctor sighed before continuing, “Mr. Andrian was in critical condition yesterday due ito /ia dyed blood transfusion. He copsed and is still under intensive care.”

“A dyed transfusion?!” Bianca’s face changed with worry. She knew very well how dependent Andrian was on her blood. “Then what’s his condition now? He should have received blood from me immediately!”

The doctor quickly tried to calm Bianca, who was beginning to panic. “Please, Miss Bianca, don’t worry. Mr. Andrian has already received a blood donation.”

“What?!” Bianca’s voice rose in disbelief. “How is that possible? Who donated blood to him besides me?!”

The doctor hesitated for a moment before speaking calmly.

“Miss Bianca, you were in critical condition yourself yesterday,” the doctor replied softly. “We couldn’t risk taking blood

    your already weakened body.”

“Then whose blood was given to Andrian? I’m his only donor!” Bianca said angrily, both upset and confused.

i“/iWe don’t know, Miss,” the doctor answered in a soothing tone. “All we know is that someone voluntarily donated blood

    for Mr. Andrian. That’s all.”

Bianca clenched her fists tightly. Anger mixed with jealousy began to surge within her.

Andrian had a rare blood type–just like her, Only about 0.36% of the world’s poption shared it. All this time, Bianca had been Andrian’s sole donor—the only one with such a special connection to him. The thought of Andrian receiving blood from someone else, without her knowing, deeply unsettled her.

“Find out who the donor is!” Bianca hissed through gritted teeth. “I need to know who that person is–right now!”

The doctor looked anxious but nodded quickly. “We’ll try to gather the information, Miss.”

Bianca leaned back against her pillow, her breathing heavy with rage. Dark thoughts flooded her mind. Who bdared /bto take her ce? Was this someone’s way of trying to drive her away from Andrian?

Unconsciously, Bianca clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her own palms. To her, the condition of her face was no longer the only thing to worry about. The presence of this mysterious donor posed a far greater threat–one that could destroy her special position at Andrian’s side.

Bianca would not let that happen. She swore she would uncover the donor’s identity and make that person regret ever interfering with her exclusive bond with Andrian.

She bit her lip until it nearly bled, struggling to contain the fury boiling in her chest. She shot a sharp re at the medical staff still standing nearby, visibly anxious.

“Leave! Get out and leave me alone!” she snapped, her voice filled with frustration. The nurses and doctors quickly obeyed, hurrying out of the room and leaving her alone.

As soon as the door shut tight, Bianca took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts. Her body trembled – overwhelmed by uncontroble anger and anxiety. She was painfully aware of how vulnerable her position was now. Until this point, she had been the sole person sustaining Andrian’s life through regr blood transfusions. That was the main reason he could never fully leave her.

But now, out of nowhere, a mysterious donor had appeared. And that shook the foundation of the only leverage Bianca

    had ever truly held.

“Whoever that person is, I need to find out their identity immediately,” Bianca muttered with determination. “I won’t allow

my ce to be taken so easily.”

With trembling hands, Bianca reached for the phone on the bedside table. She quickly dialed Elric’s number–Andrian’s right–hand man. After the third ring, Elric answered in a serious tone.

    “Miss Bianca, you’re awake?”

“Elric,” Bianca said firmly, skipping any pleasantries. “I want to know who donated blood to Andrian.”

Elric paused briefly before responding cautiously, “Miss Bianca, no one knows the donor’s identity. Even Mr. Andrian

    himself doesn’t know.i” /i

“What?!” Bianca barked, her voice sharp with frustration. “Why didn’t you confirm who the person was beforehand? Isn’t it dangerous to allow a donor whose background ispletely unknown?”

“It was an emergency, Miss. Mr. Andrian’s condition was critical. We had no choice. At the moment, Mr. Andrian himself is trying to uncover the donor’s identity.”

Bianca gritted her teeth, her jealousy and rage reaching a boiling point. She ended the call without another word and mmed her phone down onto the bed.

Her thoughts whirled at lightning speed. What motive would someone have for hiding their identity from Andrian? Was the donor a man or a woman? Bianca’s suspicion grew darker with every passing second.

Suddenly, Aliana’s image surfaced in Bianca’s mind–the woman she had always looked down on, believing she held no real influence.

“That woman…,” Bianca whispered, her heart pounding violently. “Could it be Aliana?”

Even without proof, Bianca’s instincts screamed that Aliana must be involved. Panic struck her. Her position was at risk. Without wasting another moment, she grabbed her phone again and dialed Derek.

“Hello, Miss,” Derek answered quickly. “Thank goodness… You’re awake.”

“Derek,” Bianca said without preamble, “Find out Aliana’s blood type. I want that information tonight.”

Derek sounded confused. “Miss Aliana’s blood type? Why would you-”

“Don’t ask questions. Just follow my order,” Bianca cut in sharply. “If her blood type matches what I suspect, it means she’s gone too far. I have to get rid of her immediately.”

“Understood, Miss. I’ll look into it right away.”

Bianca ended the call abruptly, her eyes burning with vengeful fire. If Aliana truly was the one who donated the blood, Bianca swore she would not let that woman live much longer.
