Song Yi got up to chase after her grandmother, but Mom Song promptly pulled her back.

"Don’t go, Grandma is just angry for the moment. She’ll be fine in a few days," Mom Song comforted her daughter. That old lady wouldn’t really chase Shaohua away.

"Mrs. Song, Miss Song, please!" Housekeeper Liu walked up to Song Yi and Mom Song with a cold expression. He had a strong dislike for this mother and daughter pair.

Huo Shaohua stood up, his face very solemn, and said to Housekeeper Liu: "Uncle Liu, please help me pack my luggage."

"Understood, young master." Housekeeper Liu replied, treating Huo Shaohua much better than he did the Song mother and daughter.

He even held a grudge against the Song mother and daughter; it was their fault the young madam got hurt.

And now they were causing the young master to be thrown out, truly making trouble for everyone!

"Shaohua, I’m sorry!" Song Yi sat on the floor crying weakly, feeling even more resentful towards Tian Xingyun.

That woman not only harmed her but also caused Shaohua to be kicked out.

Huo Shaohua bent down and reached out to pull her up by the arm, speaking in a calm tone: "Grandma is just angry, don’t worry."

He then raised his hand to wipe her tears away, knowing it was all his own fault.

It had nothing to do with her.

"Let’s go to the villa first. When Grandma’s anger subsides, everything will be fine," Huo Shaohua reassured her.

"Okay." Song Yi nodded, hoping that was truly the case.

Housekeeper Liu and the servants packed the luggage, and Huo Shaohua took the Song mother and daughter out of the Huo Family home.

At the hospital.

Tian Xingyun woke up to find it was already dark. She wanted to sit up.

Propping herself up with her hands, she felt a bit of pain in her body and dared not move.

Tian Ning came in, carrying a thermal lunch box.

Seeing her eyes open, he happily walked over to the bed.

"You’re awake, are you hungry?" He placed the thermal lunch box on the cabinet and took a seat next to the bed.

"Not hungry." Tian Xingyun smiled and shook her head. After sleeping for a while, she felt much better.

"You need to rest in bed for the next few days; you can’t get up.

"Then how am I supposed to go to the bathroom?" Tian Xingyun immediately frowned. For the baby’s sake, she could rest in bed.

But there’s no way she could manage all her needs in bed!

"Except for bathroom breaks," Tian Ning smiled helplessly, amused that she could still joke at a time like this.

"Why haven’t you gone home? Auntie must be worried about you." Tian Xingyun looked out the window; it was completely dark outside.

"I told her I’d be working overtime at the company for the next few days and staying in the company dorm," Tian Ning answered with a smile, his expression full of concern.

He couldn’t bear to leave her like this, fearing Song Yi and her mother would come back to cause trouble.

"Alright, with Brother Tian Ning here, I’m not afraid anymore." Tian Xingyun smiled. Even now, she still felt lingering fear.

If the bodyguards hadn’t arrived in time, her baby would have been lost for sure.

She really hadn’t expected Song Yi and her mother to be so ruthless!

She hadn’t intentionally been with Huo Shaohua, and she couldn’t change anything herself.

She had expected Song Yi to hate her extremely, but she never thought Song Yi would want to harm the baby.

No one would harm her child; she would protect it with her life!

"Don’t worry, no one will dare to hurt you with me here," Tian Ning reached out and gently touched her face, heartbroken. He had returned too late.

If he had come back sooner, she wouldn’t have had to marry Huo Shaohua and suffer so much.

"I’m a little hungry."

"Alright, let me feed you." Tian Ning smiled, opening the lunch box to feed her.

Huo Shaohua brought Song Yi and Mom Song to the villa and sat motionless in the living room.

He didn’t know if she and the baby were any better; he couldn’t visit her now.

If he went to see her now, it would only aggravate Song Yi and Mom Song further.
