CHAPTER 251: CHAPTER 252 LEARNING TO BE A GOOD DAD 1

"Why didn’t Dad and Big Brother come?" Tian Xingyun asked, since Mom and her second and third brothers were all here.

Only her Big Brother and Dad hadn’t arrived yet.

"Big Brother went to pick up Big Sister-in-law and Liang, and Dad is at home organizing the rose flowers," Tian Ernan answered.

"Is he very busy?"

"You don’t need to worry about it; just focus on your confinement," he replied.

"You two hurry back home to help; your dad can’t handle everything on his own," Mom Tian urged her sons, as business had been very hectic lately.

"Xingyun, we’ll head home first and come back to see you once we’re done. Mom will stay here to take care of you."

"Got it, be careful on your way back," Tian Xingyun nodded.

"Just lie down and rest. If you need anything, call Second Brother," Tian Ernan instructed his sister, worried that Huo Shaohua might bully her.

"Got it, go on now."

"Mom, Xingyun, we’re leaving," Tian Xiaonan said, glancing at his niece as he and Tian Ernan left the hospital room together.

"Wah~" Little Sweetheart began to cry loudly, her little hands flailing.

Tian Xingyun anxiously sat up, causing her body to hurt.

Ignoring the pain, she lifted the blanket, ready to get out of bed to check on her daughter.

"Don’t move, lie down. I’ll bring her over," Mom Tian quickly interjected, stopping her daughter and walking over to the crib.

"Is she hungry?" Tian Xingyun asked worriedly.

"Crying for a bit is fine," Mom Tian said, gently picking up Little Sweetheart.

Tian Xingyun sank back into bed and pulled the blanket over herself, realizing she had been too anxious just now.

Her body hurt so much now; she felt utterly weak and in pain all over.

Mom Tian handed the baby to Tian Xingyun and raised the bed a bit to help her feed the baby more comfortably.

"Mom, how do I do this?" Tian Xingyun awkwardly asked, unsure how to feed the baby properly.

"Didn’t you feed her once before? How can you still not know how!" Mom Tian chuckled helplessly; how could such a clumsy girl be a mom?

"I’m not used to it," Tian Xingyun answered, biting her lip.

"Don’t rush, take it slowly."

"Okay," Tian Xingyun nodded, nervously and clumsily feeding Little Sweetheart.

Huo Shaohua pushed open the door and saw Tian Xingyun nursing Little Sweetheart.

He turned away awkwardly and said, "Mother-in-law, I brought the stuff."

He placed the items on the coffee table and couldn’t help but glance at Tian Xingyun.

"What are you looking at!" Tian Xingyun blushed and snapped, turning her back to him in embarrassment.

Though married, they weren’t that intimate.

"..." Huo Shaohua smiled awkwardly.

Mom Tian walked over to check the items he brought and said to Huo Shaohua, "Don’t take it to heart; she’s still not used to breastfeeding."

"Okay," Huo Shaohua nodded.

"Buzz~" His phone started vibrating again in his pocket.

When he saw the name on the screen, his expression changed slightly.

"If there’s work at the company, go ahead; Mom is here to take care of us," Tian Xingyun said, her back still turned to him. She didn’t need to guess who was calling.

It was rare enough that he could spend the whole day with her and their daughter.

She had stopped hoping for more.

"I’ll take the call outside," Huo Shaohua said as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

"Is the company very busy?" Mom Tian asked, remembering her previous visits to the Huo family to see Xingyun.

But she had never seen Huo Shaohua then; Xingyun would only say he was working at the company.

"Yes, the company just went through a reorganization, so there’s a lot to do," Tian Xingyun replied, frowning.

"Tell him to come home early to rest. You have me and the Huo family’s servants here," Mom Tian said. Her son-in-law wasn’t an ordinary person.

He couldn’t be expected to stay home and look after his wife and baby like an ordinary husband.
