City C (14th Zone):

Levy's father couldn't hide his shock. He asked Petra's father whether he was lying. Petra's father confirmed it was true.

Both men then turned toward Ron Night, their eyes fixed on him.

Ron Night said, "Yes, he's right. My son killed Tier-4 worm beasts."

Hearing this, both city governors were stunned. They realized why Jeremy had shifted to the 10th zone.

Before they could dwell further, Ron Night changed the topic.

"We should discuss the Tier-5 worm beast first. We can't let it live near City C," he said.

At that, both city governors snapped out of their thoughts, their expressions turning serious.

Petra's father said, "Yes, we should seek help from the Human Alliance. What if there's more than one Tier-5 worm beast?"

"I doubt they would dispatch someone to deal with a Tier-5 worm beast," Levy's father replied.

"I think it's better to ask for help from City A's governors," Ron Night suggested.

The other two agreed with his idea. They decided to contact City A's governors the next morning.

That night, everyone parted ways. Ron Night returned to the Night Family Mansion.

At dinnertime, the family gathered at the dining table. Servants brought out the food and left.

As they began eating, Ron Night and Nora remained silent but were clearly curious about the day's events.

Jeremy Night ate his meal, feeling the sharp gazes of his parents. Ron Night broke the silence with a question.

"How did you kill the Tier-4 beasts? They're two tiers stronger than you."

Jeremy replied, "It has to do with my lifeline beast."

Ron Night and Nora were stunned. They had nearly forgotten that their son had contracted a mysterious, powerful bloodline beast.

They knew it had been given to him by Lord Martha Smith, so they understood the source of Jeremy's strength.

"Has it hatched?" Nora asked.

Ron raised his eyebrows as well. They knew Jeremy had contracted an unhatched egg.

Jeremy smiled and said, "It's still in its egg state."

"What?" Nora exclaimed in surprise.

Even Ron was shocked to his core. They had assumed the egg had hatched, explaining Jeremy's increased strength.

But learning the egg hadn't hatched sent their minds into turmoil.

Jeremy sighed inwardly, understanding their shock.

A few minutes later, they collected their thoughts.

Ron Night said, "It seems we've been underestimating the bloodline grade of your lifeline beast."

Jeremy nodded in agreement. Even after consuming resources from the colorful spring water, the unknown beast egg hadn't hatched.

Nora said, "I guess even Lord Martha herself doesn't know its true nature."

"That must be it," Ron Night agreed.

Lord Martha had told them the egg belonged to her friend.

Ron Night continued, "Son, you need to be careful. You've already drawn a lot of attention. The other two city governors were shocked by your strength."

"You killed those Tier-4 beasts without summoning your lifeline beast. That will only fuel people's curiosity," he added.

Nora grew more worried.

She said, "Son, you don't have to fight every battle. There are other beast tamers. Tier-5 corrupted beasts and above are no ordinary creatures."

"Your mother is right. We still don't know much about the wilderness. The unexplored regions are vast, so don't take unnecessary risks," Ron Night advised.

Jeremy listened to them and assured them he would be more careful moving forward.

After having dinner, everyone went back to sleep. Jeremy was lying in his bed.

He couldn't help but think about the Tier-5 Worm. As he had planned earlier, he would leave for City A the next morning.

The following day, he woke up earlier than usual. Then he informed his father and mother about his departure.

They were surprised at first, but then they realized Jeremy was going shopping and would return within a day because there were continuous flights between City A and City C.

Jeremy then left his home and reached the airport 20 minutes later.

He didn't inform Petra or Levy about his trip. Soon, he reached the counter and bought a ticket for the next available flight. He boarded the flight several minutes later.

A few hours later, the flight touched down in City A. When he walked out of the airport, he immediately thought about Central University 14 and his STRIKER Department friends.

Earlier, he had considered visiting them as well, but the presence of the Tier-5 Worm had forced him to change his plans.

After giving it some thought, he decided to call his friends. He made surprise calls to Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone, telling them about his arrival one after another.

It was already noon. So, he decided to wait for them at the airport.

Meanwhile, Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone were inside Central University 14.

They were attending Instructor Jacob Henry's class. But the phone calls they received one after another silenced the room. Betsy and Daniel looked at each other in shock.

"What happened? Who's on the phone?" Instructor Jacob asked. He noticed their reactions were due to the calls.

Betsy Lowe collected her thoughts first. A bright smile appeared on her face. Daniel Stone was grinning as well.

"He's here," she said.

"Who?" Jacob asked.

"Jeremy Night is waiting for us at the airport," Betsy said with a smile.

Hearing that, Instructor Jacob was dumbfounded. Then he realized the Beast Invasion in the 10th Zone's City A was over.

Jeremy Night must have returned to meet his parents and was stopping by to see them along the way.

"Let's go. I'm coming with you," Jacob said.

Betsy and Daniel agreed. The three of them exited the building and quickly reached the exit.

Jacob didn't inform the Dean or Elder Derek about Jeremy because he was just tagging along.

He didn't know whether Jeremy would like it or not. It didn't take long for the trio to reach the airport.

There, they saw Jeremy waiting for them in the resting area. They quickly went to his side.

Jeremy saw them as well. He hadn't expected Instructor Jacob to tag along, but he was happy to see him too. They were all part of the STRIKER Department.
