CHAPTER 444: BACK TO 10TH ZONE!

City C (14th Zone):

After getting ready, Jeremy met with his father and mother. He knew they were forcing him to leave, but he made one thing clear.

If he saw City C in danger, he would return right away. Ron and Nora helplessly agreed. They wanted to solve the current problem.

Jeremy then bid farewell to them and the staff before leaving. The Night Family Head Guard was the one who was going to drop him at the airport.

He told the staff to inform his friends in case of any danger. They would find a way to inform him. The Night Family Head Guard agreed.

He had been there from the beginning, so he knew the reason behind the Young Master’s sudden departure.

He had seen his Young Master confronting the Tier-5 Worm that day, so he completely trusted his judgment.

Soon, they reached the airport. Jeremy stepped out and nodded to him before going inside the airport. He went to the counter to buy tickets.

He arrived in front of the ticket counter and bought a ticket. The staff working there had no clue about the crisis.

He hoped the tense situation wouldn’t reach the city. He then waited for his flight to arrive. Soon, his flight to City A came.

When he boarded the flight to City A, the flight departed shortly afterward.

Not long after, Elder Derek and his team arrived in City C. They were there to provide help to City C, especially to City Governor Ron Night.

Ron Night was the father of Jeremy Night. In a way, they were helping Jeremy Night. They didn’t want Jeremy Night to be further caught up in this problem.

They walked out of the airport. Derek directly called Ron Night. He already had Ron Night’s contact information. He had come here during the Beast Invasion of the 10th Zone.

When the call connected, Ron Night answered. He was surprised to know that Dean Carolyn had sent backup.

Ron Night then left his home to pick them up. Soon, he reached the airport. Then he brought them to the City Administration Building.

In the administration building, Ron Night and the other two City Governors greeted Elder Derek and his team and started their meeting.

As time passed, Elder Derek was surprised to learn that Jeremy Night had left. He had been planning to meet the kid, Jeremy Night.

He then thought of something. He looked at Ron Night and said, "You’ve done a good thing. If the kid stayed here, he definitely couldn’t stay quiet."

"It’s best for him to stay back in the 10th Zone," he added.

Hearing that, Ron Night felt relieved. He was right. Everyone had the same opinion. The other two City Governors were happy to receive help from Elder Derek and his team.

Elder Derek then learned about the Tier-6 Horned Lizard. His and his team members’ expressions grew solemn.

They knew the dangers of the Tier-6 Horned Lizard. Even if City A faced such threats from Tier-6 and above corrupted beasts, it would be serious.

The discussion continued for some time. After the meeting ended, Elder Derek made a decision. He decided to patrol the wilderness with his team.

The three City Governors decided to assist Elder Derek. City Governor Ron Night made a decision to assist Elder Derek as well.

He left with Elder Derek and a small patrol guard team. Soon, they left for the wilderness. It didn’t take long for them to arrive in the wilderness.

Elder Derek looked around the place. He could feel the low concentrations of natural energy in the environment.

"Where were the Tier-5 Worm and Tier-6 Horned Lizard spotted?" Derek asked.

Hearing that, Ron Night began to answer. It had happened in two different locations. Derek then decided to check the place of the Tier-5 Worm beast.

Soon, they crossed the area where the special liquid had been thrown on the ground. Derek saw that this small piece of land had caused a huge problem.

The hundred special liquid bottles could only cover a small piece of land. Yet it was able to lure out the Tier-5 Corrupted Beast.

They then went to the area where Elder Harris had fought against the Tier-5 Worm beast. The whole terrain had changed because of their fight.

Derek ordered his team to check whether any corrupted beasts were hiding there. He then started searching as well.

Ron Night and his team began to assist them.

Time passed,

They found no corrupted beasts hidden in the place. Derek and the others went to the Horned Lizard’s area to search the place.

As time passed, they found that the place was safe; there were no other corrupted beasts living there. Yet they spent another hour confirming the situation.

Derek knew that there was a vast area beyond this place, known as the unexplored area. People would get lost if they tried to explore. The communication devices wouldn’t work in those places.

So Derek decided to search around the area of the human settlements. He and his team went toward that place.

A few hours later,

The flight touched down in City A. Jeremy Night didn’t waste any time further. He bought tickets and boarded the flight to the 10th Zone.

Time passed,

Jeremy Night reached the 10th Zone several hours later. When he walked out of the airport, it was already early morning.

Then he booked a flying taxi to reach the Shadow Moon Organization. The size of City A was several times larger.

It took him 15 minutes to reach his organization located in the city. The flying taxi dropped him off in front of the main gate.

He stepped out. He showed his ID to the standing guards before entering the premises. He started walking along the path before arriving at the main building.

He didn’t know who would be working early in the morning. He showed his ID and walked into the building.

The staff room was empty, but the lights were on. There was no one in the lobby either. He was surprised. He then began heading toward his own room.

A few minutes later,

He reached his room. He opened the door and entered inside. Then he locked the door before going straight to bed.

He was exhausted. He lay on the bed. He didn’t change his clothes. As he closed his eyes, he quickly fell asleep.
