City C (10th Zone):

Blue Parrot Hotel,

Soon, the duo reached one of the good luxurious hotels. After dropping Jeremy, John left the place.

Jeremy was already grateful that someone had helped him this far.

He walked into the hotel lobby. Then he met with the manager and booked a room. He found out that the manager was aware of the visitors from City A.

A few of them had booked rooms in the same hotel. Jeremy then got his room key before going to the fourth floor.

He arrived on the 4th floor through the lift. Then he went to his room. He inserted his key. The next second, the door opened.

A wide spacious room greeted his eyes. The room decoration was minimal and aesthetic, which was pleasing to his eyes.

He locked the door and went to check the bath first.

Meanwhile,

On the third floor, Harold was staying in one of the rooms. He didn't know his target had selected the same hotel as him.

He had thought Jeremy Night was staying in that human settlement. He thought there would be an opportunity to target Jeremy Night soon.

The following day,

Jeremy Night woke up earlier. He was impressed with the room. So he didn't know when he had fallen asleep.

Now, he got out of bed and started doing his morning routine. The unknown egg inside the mental zone became active.

It started to slowly absorb the natural energy from the surroundings. Seeing that, he was not surprised. He hoped that the natural energy in the place would satisfy the unknown beast egg.

Time passed,

An hour later, he appeared in the small living room. He sat cross-legged on the ground. He closed his eyes and started practicing the breathing method.

Slowly, the natural energy from the surroundings began entering his body. He started circulating the natural energy according to the breathing method.

As the energy coursed through his body, the cells were being energized. They had started absorbing the natural energy.

Jeremy immediately felt the cooling sensation all over his body. Then he continued with the process.

Meanwhile,

The Beast Tamers from City A had started their first day as volunteers. Many of the locals welcomed their presence in their city.

Including the City Governors of City C. They felt grateful that Beast Tamers from City A were here.

In case something happened in the wilderness, then these Beast Tamers wouldn't be able to stay silent.

The City Governors of City C were relaxed right now. At the same time, something else was going on as well.

Some of the organizations were doing illegal work. For the criminals, cities like City C and other lower cities were their habitat.

They couldn't roam openly in City A and B. Their activities would be exposed soon if they were to do something there.

Now, the arrival of the Beast Tamers from City A had triggered them. If their activities were to be known by these people, then the authorities would start coming for them.

The criminals came to know that the Beast Tamers would stay here for a few days. So they decided to lower their activities.

10 A.M. in the morning,

Jeremy left his hotel. He booked a cab to the Sunset Human Settlement. He was going to meet with the teams.

The cab left for the destination a few minutes later. In the cab, he couldn't help but recall John's words. There might be hateful people inside the teams.

"My arrival must have been known to them. But I don't think they would dare to cross the line," he thought.

The in-charge Otto already knew about the Shadow Moon Organisation.

The name itself would deter their bad intentions.

About 20 minutes later,

The cab arrived at the place and dropped him in front of the settlement. Jeremy paid the fare amount before going toward the settlement.

When he started walking along the wider road, he came across locals. Men, women, old and young children.

Everyone was happily going about their business. But the adults' strength stunned him. Most of them were Tier-2 Beast Tamers.

He spotted a Tier-3 Beast Tamer among the older generation. But that was all. He didn't see any middle-aged figures with that level of strength.

His arrival sparked discussion. No one was surprised, because this was all over the news. Now most people knew that Beast Tamers from City A had arrived.

Jeremy noticed their gazes. He simply responded with a smile as he walked along. Suddenly, the hairs on his skin stood up.

Someone with hatred was looking at him. Jeremy's eyes turned solemn. He looked for the source of the gaze while walking along.

He then saw someone disappearing into the alley. But he saw the person wearing a red hoodie with some markings on its back. The latest_epɪ_sodes are on_the Novᴇ(l)Fɪre .ɴᴇt

He used his eye ability right away. His vision zoomed in on the cloth. He memorized those markings.

If he saw the same hoodie again, he would recognize it.

A hint of seriousness appeared in his eyes. Because this level of hatred was unwarranted. It was his first time visiting the city. So he didn't have enemies here.

Then why was someone targeting him? He couldn't help but recall Leader Gisela's words. The human heart is hard to judge.

Jeremy decided to be careful of the surroundings.

Soon, he reached the main office. He walked into the building. He saw that no one was there. He raised his eyebrows in surprise.

It was the same yesterday. He thought that they might have gone for work. He then went to the in-charge's office room.

The in-charge Otto was sitting behind the desk. He saw that young man Jeremy was here. He smiled and greeted him.

"I hope your sleep was good." After saying that, he asked the young man to take the seat.

Jeremy smiled and sat on the chair.

He then replied, "I had a good sleep last night. But I was expecting to meet the teams here. Yet there is no one here."

Hearing that, the smile on Otto's face was gone.

He said, "I have informed the teams. But none of them responded."

Jeremy was taken aback in his heart.
