CHAPTER 530: SKY EAGLE

The Black Centipede made a sound. Then it started flying towards the spot where the prey crash landed.

The big centipede appears in the blink of an eye at the spot. It eyes scans the surroundings. The two antennae move to find out the prey.

The next second, it caught the scent. The hundreds of legs moved. The Black Centipede then finds out the exact spot and appears in front of it.

It saw the human prey was stuck between the 2 mountain rocks. It uses a mandible to move the rock. But it couldn’t move the rock.

The Black Centipede was surprised. With its strength it’s easy to move these rocks away. With its speed just now it has swept away the nearby vegetation and rocks.

Boom!

The Black Centipede then tries its sharp metallic legs to break rocks. The next second, a noise occurs. A small piece of stone fell off from the rock.

The Beast was stunned again. It was sure about the power of sharp metallic legs. The legs can leave holes in the body of Tier-6 Corrupted Beasts.

Yet the sharp legs only made a dent so far. The beast was unwilling. It started again. It’s using hundreds of legs to destroy the small 2 rocks.

So that it can catch the prey.

One after another noise sounded.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Night was conscious. But his condition was miserable. Like he had guessed, his body can’t withstand the attack of a higher tier beast.

Many dents appeared on the mountain rocks. So the size of the rocks is being reduced. One by one the rock pieces fell off from it.

It would be a matter of time before the beast reaches the prey.

Devon and his big cat have returned to the border inner area through the tunnel. They are not going to go back. He lost his entire team.

If he goes back he would face certain death. He thinks it’s thanks to the unknown beast tamer who took the bait. But he still thinks that the Tier-6 Beast could catch on to him.

So he started moving towards the city. Hereafter, he won’t face any threats. He can handle the Tier-5 Beasts living here.

20 minutes later, the Tier-6 Black Centipede succeeded in destroying the 2 mountain rocks. Then the beast proceeds to catch the prey.

It lowers its head. The Mandibles are about to touch the prey.

Jeremy stabbed the right eye of the beast with his last ounce of strength.

Puchak!

The starlight filled rust blade goes through the right eye of the beast. A torrent of blood gushes forth the next second.

tchk-tchk!

The Black Centipede made a sound in pain. It’s moving its head fiercely. The blade loosens.

Swoosh!

Jeremy Night with the blade in his hands was once again sent backwards flying. This time his body was thrown further deeper.

He once again felt flying in the air. But he knows his situation has become dire.

Kee-Kee-Kee-Kee!

A 20ft Sky Eagle appears out of nowhere and catches the flying thing. The next second, it soars in the sky, taking away the food.

The Tier-6 Black Centipede was enraged. The bird beast came out of nowhere and snatched its prey. The beast can’t follow the prey now.

The sky birds live in different territories. If the Black Centipede goes there, it is certainly asking for death. It could become food for other powerful bird beasts.

The beast was unwilling. But it had no choice but to give up.

It turned around and started chasing the other trail. With its speed it could still catch up to the other prey.

The sky eagle is soaring in the sky. Jeremy Night was scared sh!t. He thought he would become food for that Centipede earlier.

Now that sky eagle has captured him. He doesn’t know whether it’s good news or bad news. Because the sky bird’s territory is deep in the core area.

The Sky Eagle is one of the bird beasts. Jeremy doesn’t know what to do. He is betting everything on luck right now. He then puts the rust blade into the storage ring.
