Kee-Kee-Kee!

The Sky Eagle Beast comes back to the nest. Upon seeing that prey was missing, the bird was shocked. It started making noise.

Then it carefully observes the four eggs. Seeing that they were fine, the beast relaxed. The Sky Eagle is a higher tier beast. It's quite intelligent.

It followed the blood traces of the human. The massive bird slowly circles around the tree. It finds a tree hole. But the size of the tree hole was so small that it couldn't reach it.

Kee-Kee-Kee!

The Sky Eagle made a noise in frustration. It wanted to attack the tree. But by doing it would destroy the nest. So it left unwillingly.

Inside the tree hole, Jeremy was panicking. But things didn't happen like he had guessed. The Sky Eagle spared him.

He was surprised. Then he gave some thought and realised that the existence of the nest saved him. The sky eagle won't dare to attack the tree.

Then he relaxed a lot.

The following days,

He would climb down in the daytime and rest at night time. The Sky Eagle goes to search for food in the daytime.

By using this opportunity he was able to climb down quickly. After following the process, it took him a couple of days to touch the ground.

But his condition has not improved. His bones are still broken. He did some first aid but it was not enough. But he was glad that he was able to survive first.

Then he uses the day light to find the direction to the city. His device was not working here. Its battery was dead. He can only use basic methods.

After finding the direction to the city, he started journey. But he is moving slowly. Because he is using eye ability most of the time to check the surroundings and sky.

He doesn't want to be captured by other beasts. He knows he won't be lucky a third time. As he walks further in, the path narrows.

The monstrous plants and leaves arches over his head. Some of the trees are unusually tall and twisted. The soundscape is abnormal.

He is hearing all types of noises. But he couldn't find a single beast with his eye ability. As he continues his journey, he finds the environment dangerous.

The vegetation has become denser. He came across more coiling trees. With their twisted trunks and large branches. They have formed a large canopy.

Such an environment is making it difficult to find open land. But one good thing though. His mental zone was active. His unknown egg lifeline beast is sucking the rich natural energy.

Times goes by,

Eventually the day light recedes. The darkness has spread. The forest is more dangerous in the night time.

Jeremy started digging a tree hole in the nearby tree.

An hour later,

He completed the digging. He dug a hole at the bottom of the tree. So he doesn't have to climb down again. After entering inside, he covered the entrance with the barks and leaves.

Time passed by,

He is taking rest as usual. But he didn't let down his guard. He knows the previous giant tree was not attacked by other beasts because of the sky eagle.

Now that he has left the safety net. He should be expecting some trouble.

Many dangerous beasts come out at night to hunt. It includes the plant type beasts as well.

Swoosh!

A unknown dark plant branch has come out. It's stretching endlessly to look for food. Eventually, it comes to the foot of the giant tree.

The Dark plant branch finds the weak prey. The branch tried to enter the tree hole. But the small entrance blocked it.

Boom!

A terrible collision sounded. The Giant Tree shook. The nearby plants and trees experienced the shock force as well.

Jeremy Night was jolted awake. He collided into the tree wall. His old wounds are close to opening up. His eyes turned old.

He immediately gripped the rust blade. Then he sees the outside scene through the small gap. A long elongated plant branch came into his view.

At first he mistook it for tree roots. He found out that the plant branch was different now. It belongs to the plant type beast.

He didn't expect to encounter Plant Type Beast after the Sky Eagle encounter. The plant branch looks thick and strong.

Swoosh!

He was just staring at the plant branch. All of a sudden, it moved. The branch moves like twisted limbs. In the blink of an eye, it collides into the tree hole again.

Boom!

The terrific collision sounded, shaking the tree. The collision sent a deep tremor through the trunk.

He felt the impact force and retreated to the other end.

The size of the plant branch is larger than tree hole. Fortunately, he dug it smaller keeping that in mind.

Now he is hoping that the plant branches to retreat after failure.

Boom! Boom!

The plant branch continues to strike the tree one after another. The collision continues to send the tremor.

The dead leaves are falling from the above.

Time goes by,

Because the tree is a giant coiling shade tree. The force of the plant branch was not enough to uproot it.

Except the tree barks exploded into splinters by repeated strikes.

In the end, the plant branch retreated.

"Phew!"

Jeremy breathed in a sigh of relief. But he found out that this place was not safe anymore. The disturbance could attract other beasts in the vicinity.

He decides to leave early in the morning.

Shadow Moon Chamber:

Leader Gisela did her office work. Next, she was about to go home. But she recalled Jeremy Night. It's been several days since Jeremy Night took the mission.

She knows that mission was dangerous. It was unlike anything before. He had to collect resources from the inner and core area.

The Main Branch at 5th Zone considered it as an important mission. Very few people took it. But all of them have returned except Jeremy Night.

"What's taking him so long?" She asked herself.

According to her, Jeremy Night is still doing missions in the inner area. If she came to know about Jeremy Night's current circumstances, she would be scared to death.

Not only was she keeping an eye on Jeremy Night.

The Head Neil Moon is following the updates as well. He thinks that Jeremy Night is roaming inside the inner area wilderness as well.
