CHAPTER 560: PART 2: PURPLE GEM SNAKE INVASION

9th Zone, B-City:

The alarm sounded and woke up the whole city.

Governor Black, Chloe, and Carl quickly flew out of the building and appeared in mid-air. Their gazes were deep as they quickly noticed the situation outside.

They didn’t expect the Purple Gem Snakes to attack. Today, the long standstill had come to an end.

Swoosh!

At the same time, one after another, the family heads and owners of powerful business organizations appeared in the sky.

They couldn’t believe the corrupted beasts had decided to attack.

Swoosh!

The Governors took the lead. In a flash, they stood on top of the wall. The heads of various forces appeared behind them. They were Tier-7 and Tier-8 Beast Tamers.

The heads of the small families were Tier-6 Beast Tamers. They even came to assist after hearing the alarm.

Governor Black could only see Purple Gem Snakes hiding in the dark. There were no signs of other corrupted beasts.

Upon sensing the powerful auras, the Purple Gem Snakes didn’t stop their attacks; rather, they became more aggressive.

More and more Purple Gem Snakes emerged from the forest.

"Purple Gem Snakes," Black uttered with hatred.

He didn’t think the attack was going to stop. The Purple Gem Snakes started coming out in greater numbers.

"They are not backing down. Start attacking," Black said in a cold tone. His voice reached everyone’s ears.

Swoosh!

The heads of various forces divided and started dealing with the Purple Gem Snakes on the ground.

Only the Tier-5 and Tier-6 Snakes were attacking. The Tier-7 Snakes were inside the forest. They were waiting to come out.

Chloe and Carl noticed the problem as well.

"What cunning beasts!" Carl muttered.

They were Tier-8 Beast Tamers. If they wanted, they could wipe out the beasts below. But they were more wary of the Tier-7 beasts and a Tier-8 Corrupted Beast behind the scenes.

"Should we go inside?" Chloe asked.

"As long as we take down the Tier-7 Snakes, then the Tier-6 Snakes will flee in fear," Chloe said.

"No, it’s a trap. We don’t know how many Tier-7 Snakes there are," Black said.

"Just kill the ones which attack our city. If casualties appear on our side, I fear the other corrupted beast species could take advantage to attack us," he added.

Hearing that, Chloe and Carl agreed. They were now facing an attack from the Purple Snakes alone. Even so, their numbers were high.

It required more manpower to deal with the beasts.

Swoosh!

Chloe and Carl separated. Each went towards a watchtower to guard the city wall.

Boom!

All the Tier-5 and Tier-6 Snakes were killed in a short period of time.

A few minutes later, no more Purple Snakes were coming towards the city. The heads of the various forces were alert.

They even asked the family Beast Tamers to come. No one thought that the Beast Invasion had stopped.

Governor Black looked towards the wilderness. He knew how cunning these beasts were. They had been hungry for several days.

They had come to attack the city tonight, which showed that they couldn’t tolerate hunger anymore. So, he immediately ordered others to be alert.

Meanwhile,

The Tier-7 Purple Snakes were angry. Their plans were failing. After seeing this many powerful Beast Tamers, they stopped sending Tier-5 and Tier-6 snakes to the city.

The Tier-7 Beasts were smart. Initially, they wanted to capture the human Beast Tamers who were patrolling. But now, everyone has come out.

These beasts were waiting for the Blood Steel Mosquitos and Hybrid Vine Beasts to make moves. They had been watching from the sidelines.

But no one had taken action so far. Some of the Tier-7 Snakes went towards their lair. If they didn’t take any action, the Purple Snakes wouldn’t move.

Blood Cave:

The Blood Steel Mosquitos were smaller in number, but they were hard to kill because their bodies were like steel.

Suddenly, one of the higher-tier mosquitos came outside. Its body was massive, 4 meters in size. It was a Tier-7 Beast.

It sensed an unwanted visitor coming towards the cave. The visitor was none other than one of the Tier-7 Purple Gem Snakes.

"You have come to the wrong location," the Blood Steel Mosquito said.

"We have killed a few humans. It’s a good time for you guys to take action. We can easily cause more damage to human Beast Tamers. We can divide the spoils later," the Purple Snake spoke.

Its vertical pupils flickered. It wanted the Blood Steel Mosquito to take action because they could fly into the city. It would cause more panic and destruction.

"Purple Snake, you guys are digging your own graves without your old monster. He doesn’t even know you guys are attacking the city," the Blood Steel Mosquito said.

Hiss!

Hearing that, the Purple Snake was offended. They had attacked the city out of fear.

The Blood Steel Mosquito flew around in the air. It was not afraid of the Purple Snake’s massive body.

"Alright, we will send a few teams to attack. But we can’t do more than that," the Blood Steel Mosquito said.

"I also wanted the Hybrid Vine to take action as well," he added.

They too had an oldest Blood Steel Mosquito trying to break through. It was a Tier-8 Blood Steel Mosquito hiding in the deepest part of the Blood Cave.

If the Tier-9 Beast Tamers in the Human Alliance were to know, they would be petrified.

Hiss!

The Purple Snake was angry. But it knew that there was a Tier-8 Blood Mosquito hiding in the cave. After taking a glance at the Blood Steel Mosquito, it left the place.

Now it was going to another dangerous place in the wilderness. The place had the largest canopy; it was also the home of the Hybrid Vines.

The Hybrid Vine Beasts were so large that their bodies formed a canopy. If any Beast Tamers stepped into this area, they would be assimilated by the large vine canopy.

Even the Purple Gem Snakes and Blood Mosquitos were scared to enter this area. If they did, they would become food for these Hybrid Vines.
