"It was just a little embellishment for your majesty," Daisy smiled, her gentle expression radiating an inexplicable warmth.

Even Aurek couldn’t help but glance at her twice, though not because of her beauty. It was her unique aura.

She seemed like a legendary mage, one who had seen it all—approachable yet unfathomable, her charm effortlessly drawing others’ trust and goodwill.

"How would you feel about having Daisy mentor stay at the palace, your majesty?" Josephine asked.

Having a sage rank expert stationed here would fully ensure the safety of the palace. This was the greatest help she could offer.

Aurek pondered for a moment.

"Have Kazeking Palace readied," he ordered.

That palace had been meticulously built by successive emperors to house the highly esteemed consorts. It was currently unoccupied. Additionally, it was close to Roseries Palace but distanced from the Emperor’s bedchamber. Aurek did not want any secrets to be discovered by anyone, even Josephine.

Josephine nodded in agreement.

Daisy, however, reminded Aurek, "Your majesty, the battle at Crimson Hills drained a substantial part of the Empire’s foundation. Other factions are likely to become covetous once they hear of this. You need to be extra cautious."

"Moreover, the Ordon Theocracy doesn’t seem as simple as it appears. I have a feeling they are secretly brewing something."

"Let them brew," Aurek looked toward the east, a cold smile curling his lips. "The longer they brew, the faster they will be destroyed in the future!"

"Josephine, I’ll be coming here tonight. Be sure to prepare dinner for me!" Aurek softly told Josephine before vanishing from sight.

Josephine blushed and glanced at her mentor beside her.

Daisy looked at Josephine, confused by her reaction. "Josephine, why are you blushing?"

"This is probably all of Aurek’s wealth, haha!" Onassis, the head of the Akloroi Federation in the southern Empire, burst into laughter.

This was the first good news he had heard since the founding of the federation!
