Supreme Electromagnetic Tyrant
Chapter 749 - 460: The Race
CHAPTER 749: CHAPTER 460: THE RACE
The Ice Soul Dragon flew at full speed, approaching the turbulent sea area.
Ji Xinghuo had already made out the battlefield; four people were clashing, all Dragon Lords, including Cang Beiming whom he had seen before, but the other three he did not recognize.
Cang Beiming was fighting against three alone.
The four of them were in a fierce battle in the sky, while their dragons were locked in combat in the sea, stirring up gigantic waves. The ocean seemed to boil, tsunamis swept across the sky, as countless colliding seas slaughtered each other, revealing massive dragon shadows within the water.
Cang Beiming was extremely powerful, but his opponents were not weak either.
The three of them were Sixth Rank powerhouses, two men and one woman, all top Sixth Rank Dragon Lords with their own specialties, skillfully coordinating their attacks and putting Cang Beiming under pressure. Yet, he was not in the slightest disarray, indicating that he had not yet gone all out.
"Jing Qin, Jing Hanying, Silver Diao Jianping," Cang Ya recognized the identities of the three.
"So it’s him."
Ji Xinghuo’s gaze landed on a male Dragon Lord who was over two meters tall, broad of build like a wall, with a robust chest.
His skin was dark, and the fitting scale armor could not hide his explosive muscles. Holding a black trident, each strike contained terrifying strength, leading the charge and launching attack after attack, coming face to face with Cang Beiming.
This man was the Jing Qin who he had passed by earlier, from the Chao Ge Clan of the Whale Dragon family.
Whale Dragons were renowned for their strength and defense.
And the Dragon Lords who possessed Whale Dragons all have a formidable strength and a robust physique, adept in melee and using water flow abilities as recovery and support methods.
In addition to a Whale Dragon, Jing Qin also had a Storm Dragon, lurking on the edge of the battlefield, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Ji Xinghuo looked toward the sea.
Of the four dragons crazily battling, two were Whale Dragons.
They were covered in gray-blue scales with a huge stout black horn on their foreheads. Their overall length was slightly shorter than Cang Beiming’s Canglong, around 150 meters or so, but their size was larger and more robust, and they were much heavier.
One of the Whale Dragons belonged to Jing Qin, and the other belonged to another Dragon Lord of the Whale Dragon family.
"Jing Hanying is from the Luo Sha Clan of the Whale Dragon family," Cang Ya introduced.
Ji Xinghuo nodded in acknowledgment.
In the seven Dragon Territories of Donghuang Sea, two are ruled by the Whale Dragon King, one being the Chao Ge Clan, and the other is the Luo Sha Clan.
This Jing Hanying was mentioned by Cang Ya not long ago. She is also a Star Lister, which means her name is on the Star Ascension Sequence like Cang Ya, belonging to the Third Sequence. However, she became well-known earlier and is now at Sixth Rank Third Dan.
The last Dragon Lord’s name was Silver Diao Jianping.
From his name, it could be inferred that he was a member of the Silver Diao family. Cang Ya briefly introduced him, confirming that indeed, in the Bibo Dragon Domain, he was a well-known mutant.
Ji Xinghuo saw a Silver Diao Dragon in the sea.
Its body was covered in silver scales, shining brightly.
The Silver Diao Dragon’s appearance was somewhat similar to the Cicada Wing Fish, overall shaped like a dart with a silver fin extending from the head to the tail, but it was much larger, nearly eighty meters in length. It had undergone metamorphosis to Meteor Level, possessing three pairs of transparent dragon wings, allowing it to move incredibly swiftly underwater and fly through the air as fast as lightning.
Two Whale Dragons and one Silver Diao Dragon were attacking Canglong, which was over two hundred meters long and clearly more powerful than any of them.
All of them were proficient in Water Control, and it was difficult to determine a winner for the time being.
In fact, both the four dragons and the four Dragon Lords did not go all out and were holding back.
The few onlookers outside the battlefield also showed no intention of intervening.
Because the Cloud Sea Dragon was not here.
Ji Xinghuo’s Electromagnetic Induction scanning did not detect the Cloud Sea Dragon.
"How did they come into conflict?" Cang Ya furrowed her brow; she too could not find the Cloud Sea Dragon. If so, why would Jing Qin and the other two attack Cang Beiming?
"They’re fighting over something," Ji Xinghuo pointed out.
In the midst of the storm and waves, a deep blue dragon scale about half a meter in diameter bobbed up and down. One edge of the scale was tinged with blood, suggesting it had just been struck off a dragon. It did not belong to any of the dragons present.
Cang Beiming controlled the water to wrap around the dragon scale, trying to pull it closer to himself. Each time he was about to succeed, Jing Qin’s attack would disrupt him.
Jing Hanying and Silver Diao Jianping seized the opportunity to snatch it away.
But regardless of who almost got it, the other two would turn against each other, allowing Cang Beiming to regain control of the dragon scale.
"The Cloud Sea Dragon’s dragon scale!"
Cang Ya recognized the origin of the scale at a glance.
She had fought the Cloud Sea Dragon before.
This deep blue scale, like the sea, with white lines, resembled the clouds reflected on the sea surface, which was a unique feature of the Cloud Sea Dragon.
Boom!
Cang Beiming tapped his fingertip lightly, and a Blast Water Mine instantly compressed and took shape, blowing Jing Qin away as he rushed forward.
At the same time, his Canglong let out a tremendous roar, the tsunami rolled back, dragging the surrounding three dragons to the seabed, temporarily getting the upper hand. A Water Tornado shot up into the sky, blocking Jing Hanying and Silver Diao Jianping, and reeled the dragon scale back in.
"The dragon scale I knocked down, you dare to snatch it!"
Cang Beiming was already impatient, shouting loudly, his voice carrying a tinge of anger, "Whoever dares to make another move, don’t blame me for showing no mercy."
"It’s not like you were the only one who acted," Jing Qin stabilized his stance midair and sternly replied.
"I was the first to discover the Cloud Sea Dragon!" Silver Diao Jianping protested angrily.
"So what?"
Cang Beiming cast a cold glance, "With your strength, even if I hadn’t intervened, you wouldn’t have been able to tame the Cloud Sea Dragon."
"Bullshit!" Silver Diao Jianping cursed out loud, "If you hadn’t meddled, how could the Cloud Sea Dragon have escaped? I must have a share of this dragon scale, either fight it out with me or let’s split it equally!"
Jing Qin immediately agreed, "That’s right, that’s the fair way to do it."
Jing Hanying also nodded in agreement.
From the few words of conflict among the four, Ji Xinghuo and Cang Ya who had just arrived could roughly guess what had happened.
Silver Diao Jianping was the first to discover the Cloud Sea Dragon in this sea area. While attempting to tame it, Cang Beiming arrived, followed by other Dragon Lords who detected the activity and came rushing over. They intervened, resulting in the Cloud Sea Dragon’s escape.
However, Cang Beiming had managed to knock off a piece of dragon scale from the Cloud Sea Dragon.
"What use is a dragon scale?" Ji Xinghuo asked.
Cang Ya, with her gaze fixed on the dragon scale swept up by the seawater in the sky, said in a low voice, "A freshly fallen dragon scale can be used to track and more accurately lock onto the Cloud Sea Dragon’s position. After more than four Star Times, it becomes much less useful."
Only then did Ji Xinghuo understand, "No wonder everyone is fighting over it."
Using the dragon scale, one could track the Cloud Sea Dragon, and naturally, the sooner the better. Even if one couldn’t get the dragon scale, they had to prevent others from doing so.
"Fight for it!"
Ji Xinghuo immediately said.
"Huh?" Cang Ya’s face showed astonishment. Of course, she knew they had to fight over the dragon scale, but with the four Dragon Lords on the battlefield, none of them easy to provoke and all stronger than her, shouldn’t they at least consider some tactics?
Before she could figure it out, Ji Xinghuo had already charged out.
Boom!
Ji Xinghuo leapt into the air from the back of the Ice Soul Dragon, holding the Skyfire Dragon Tooth Spear, and instantly "accelerated", flying into the battlefield.
He didn’t use electric current coils nor reveal any of his Ability related to electromagnetism. Using only Shock Wave Turbulence and the invisible magnetic pole propulsion, he nevertheless entered Star Realm Supersonic in an instant!
A sound explosion resounded.
The tip of the Skyfire Dragon Tooth Spear glowed red, drawing a fiery red trajectory across the sky, charging towards the dragon scale at the center of the battlefield.
At that moment, Cang Beiming and the other three made their moves to fight for it again.
The arrival of Ji Xinghuo attracted attention. Cang Beiming sneered, "Another fool who overestimates himself."
He casually pointed his finger at Ji Xinghuo.
Boom!
Although separated by several thousand meters, the air around Ji Xinghuo condensed into ice, forming walls to block his path while the sea below drew up tens of thousands of tons of water, creating a towering wave that slapped towards him, leaving him no room to avoid.
Water Element Dragon Lords, known as "Water Masters," often have very simple attack methods, using massive amounts of water to deliver physical blows.
Especially in watery and oceanic environments, their power increases tenfold or even a hundredfold.
Simplistic and crude, yet powerful.
Cang Beiming was also a practiced kinetic Stringer, allowing him to manipulate a greater volume of seawater over a larger range. His control was more refined, capable of unleashing even stronger power with countless ice spears and blades materializing within the seawater, enhancing the lethality.
The giant wave he casually stirred up was enough to kill most ordinary Sixth Rank warriors.
Bang!
Ji Xinghuo suddenly accelerated, piercing through the ice wall in front of him with his spear. He burst through the exploding wall of ice, then suddenly veered upwards, flying straight up at a ninety-degree angle to a thousand meters high, narrowly avoiding the massive wave.
Then, he turned back down, diving towards the dragon scale.
Ji Xinghuo’s speed increased sharply, his spear tip growing hotter, and his body ignited with flames due to the friction with the air, resembling a meteor plunging down.
The four entangled in the melee sensed the danger and all looked up.
Silver Diao Jianping was the closest.
"Hmph..."
He wouldn’t allow anyone to get close to the dragon scale. His figure flashed, temporarily withdrawing from the battle with the other three Dragon Lords to meet Ji Xinghuo’s oncoming charge. He swung his sword, unleashing several majestic Sword Qis towards Ji Xinghuo.
Each Sword Qi was incredibly sharp, capable of slicing through the sea’s surface and cutting down large bridges.
He had already calculated the lead needed when striking with his sword.
However, Ji Xinghuo was able to make uncanny changes of direction while flying at high-speed. Every twist and turn, left or right, in the blink of an eye, he evaded all the Sword Qi, rushing forward.
Just as Silver Diao Jianping was about to raise his sword to meet him, he felt an extreme sense of danger. His body turned into a streak of silver light and exploded backward several hundred meters, yielding the way.
Ji Xinghuo didn’t pursue him but continued towards the dragon scale.
"Trash!"
Jing Qin barked angrily.
Taking advantage of the moment when Cang Beiming was tangled up with Jing Hanying, he was close to grabbing the dragon scale but then noticed Ji Xinghuo was already nearby. With an angry shout, his arm muscles expanded as he swung his trident at Ji Xinghuo.
Ji Xinghuo didn’t even try to dodge or give way, crashing head-on with his Skyfire Dragon Tooth Spear.
Clang!
With an explosive clanging sound like an explosion, the trident snapped and flew out of Jing Qin’s hands, his arms fractured into who knows how many pieces, blood spewed from his mouth, and he was flung into the sea.
Meanwhile, Ji Xinghuo’s flying speed only slightly decreased as he continued forward with his spear, heading straight for the dragon scale.
"Scram!"
Cang Beiming fired a water mine at him from his fingertip.
But just a moment before the "Blast Water Mine" hit Ji Xinghuo, his body was swept up in a prepared burst of white light, entering the Star Realm Jump to appear precisely by the dragon scale a few hundred meters away.
The water mine exploded behind him but did not reach him at all. Ji Xinghuo’s spear pierced through the layers of water curtain, the Spiritual Ability Field, and ice, hitting the dragon scale dead center.
With a bang,
The Cloud Sea Dragon’s dragon scale shattered into dozens of pieces, scattering in all directions.
Ji Xinghuo casually caught one of them and was enveloped in white light once again, disappearing before the attacks reached him.
