Supreme Heir Son-in-law
Chapter 851: Unconscious
CHAPTER 851: CHAPTER 851: UNCONSCIOUS
"I was wrong, I really realized my mistakes, I swear I will correct my shortcomings in the future, I won’t be a parasite or rely on our parents anymore, please ask your friend to spare me, brother. After all, we are blood brothers, you wouldn’t really want to kill me, would you? Even though I haven’t done anything good and what I just did to you was a bit excessive, we are brothers by blood, you have only one brother like me in this world, if anything happens to me, how could your conscience be at ease? Mom and Dad would be very upset too, their health has been declining these past two years, if this incident affects their health, could you live with yourself?"
"At this point, you still won’t forget to threaten your brother, do you really think your brother won’t dare to touch you?" Xu Ke looked at the man who kept begging for mercy, yet every word was filled with threats, slowly raised his eyebrow, unsure whether to praise him for his cleverness or chastise his stupidity.
"I didn’t." Despite the man’s denial, the sharpness in his eyes told Xu Ke, yes, that’s exactly what I’m thinking, what can you do about it?
"Ha." Xu Ke let out a short laugh, "Don’t take people for fools, I’m not blind, I can see clearly what’s on your mind." Xu Ke turned to glance at the silent man and said, "Your brother might be blackmailed by you, and let this go, but I’m not your brother, whether you live or die has nothing to do with me, understand?" Xu Ke looked into the man’s eyes, slowly curling his lips into a slightly sinister smile.
The younger brother of the boss was momentarily startled by Xu Ke’s smile, and his eyes subconsciously drifted towards his brother standing behind Xu Ke, but the boss avoided his gaze completely with his head down, which made him even more uneasy, causing him to stammer, "Aren’t you my brother’s friend? If you do anything to me, you’ll be causing trouble for my brother. Do you really consider my brother your friend?"
"For you, I’m willing to break ties with your brother for a few minutes." Xu Ke’s smile deepened, and before the man could react, Xu Ke mercilessly broke his finger.
There’s an old saying, the fingers are connected to the heart, anyone having their finger broken suddenly would be in unbearable pain, let alone a brother who had never suffered before, it was as if his life had been taken away, he didn’t even have the time to scream before closing his eyes and passing out.
Xu Ke had never encountered someone who fainted directly from pain before, and for a moment he was at a loss, staring blankly for a few seconds before turning his gaze to the boss with a seemingly innocent look, "Your brother fainted."
The boss was looking down, but upon hearing Xu Ke’s words, he quickly looked up with a shocked expression, "How did he faint? I don’t remember him having any sudden medical conditions." The boss stepped forward immediately, looking at his unconscious brother who had a pale face and a thin layer of sweat on his forehead, and spoke nervously.
While the boss looked worried and frantic, fearing his brother had some sudden medical condition and wanted to call an ambulance, Xu Ke stopped him.
"I think he must have fainted from the pain." Xu Ke said with an innocent, kind look.
"Pain?" There was a moment of blankness on the boss’s face.
Xu Ke nodded as he watched the boss’s expression, "I just wanted to warn him not to meddle in things that don’t belong to him, so I accidentally broke his finger, and then he fainted." Xu Ke spread his hands with an expression of innocence and helplessness, as if accusing the other party of being uncooperative.
"Huh?" The boss couldn’t believe that his brother fainting was due to that reason, and for a moment didn’t know how to respond, but he couldn’t help looking at his brother’s hand as per Xu Ke’s words, wanting to see which finger was broken. Upon seeing his brother’s clearly twisted index finger, the boss silently licked his lips, his mind going blank.
"I’ll take him to the hospital." The boss said, looking at his brother’s finger and glancing at Xu Ke.
"No need." Xu Ke waved his hand and grasped the man’s finger. The boss didn’t clearly see how Xu Ke did it, but just saw him shake his brother’s hand a few times, heard a snap sound, and then Xu Ke said, "It’s all done."
"That’s it?" The boss’s mind was still trying to process everything, looking a bit dazed and not very clever.
"Otherwise, how hard is it to set a bone? I didn’t break his bone apart, if you don’t believe in my skills, you can wake him up and have him move his finger." Xu Ke said.
Seeing the boss worried sick like an ant on a hot pan, frantically trying to wake his brother, Xu Ke sighed deeply, then walked to the bathroom, returned a moment later with a basin, and said, "Step aside." Xu Ke commanded.
The boss’s body instinctively stepped back upon receiving Xu Ke’s command, even though he hadn’t fully processed what was happening, exposing his brother to Xu Ke. A basin of freshly drawn cold water was poured directly over the boss’s brother’s face, and a small part of it splashed onto the boss who wasn’t standing too far away.
In the hot weather, having cold water doused over is really refreshing, the boss’s brother took a deep breath, suddenly opened his eyes, and whether it was bad luck or not, he wasn’t woken up by the water pouring, but instead choked by water entering his nose. His brain hadn’t even fully rebooted before he began coughing desperately, his nose discomfort making tears stream from his eyes. After finally calming down, the first person he saw was Xu Ke, the one who knocked him out. Seeing the basin in Xu Ke’s hand, there was nothing left to misunderstand.
Xu Ke, he really wants him dead!
In just a few seconds, the boss’s brother reacted faster than he ever had in his life, hugging his finger and loudly shouting, "My finger’s broken, my finger’s broken, it hurts like hell."
"Then let me take you to the hospital," the boss immediately reacted to his brother’s outcry, attempting to take him to the hospital but was stopped by Xu Ke at the door, "What hospital? His hand is already fine, if you don’t believe me, let him move it." Xu Ke stood with arms crossed in front of the man, even though the door was just ahead, the man dared not take that step.
