Surprise, CEO: Those Two Kids? They're Actually Yours!
Chapter 17: Calling Her Children Bastards
CHAPTER 17: CHAPTER 17: CALLING HER CHILDREN BASTARDS
Raina Lowell still felt uncomfortable inside.
Pushing Adrian Grant aside to enter the room, "If I see you bringing her here again, I’ll tell grandpa."
She had her own backing too.
If provoked, she could do anything.
Adrian Grant chuckled angrily at her words.
Already a mother of two, she spoke as if she were three.
Always complaining to the elders; was that childish or what?
He followed her into the room.
Raina Lowell went back to her room, took a shower, changed clothes, and locked herself in the guest room.
Thinking about how Adrian Grant hadn’t done anything to her children, instead ensuring they were well-cared for.
Should she have a proper talk with Adrian Grant?
Or perhaps make a deal.
As long as Adrian Grant allowed her to see her children every day, without doing anything to them.
At times, there might be no need to meddle in his affair with Isabelle Everett.
After all, this man would eventually belong to Isabelle Everett.
So why should she desperately defend this so-called dignity of being a wife?
With this thought, Raina Lowell left the guest room for the study.
But Adrian Grant wasn’t there.
She then went to the master bedroom.
Upon arriving, she coincidentally saw Adrian Grant changing.
Raina Lowell paused, wanting to turn away.
Yet she felt it unnecessary.
She had seen and touched every inch of this old man’s body.
They had been married for a year; even if they were to divorce, there was no need for her to avoid him, right?
Raina Lowell said nothing, standing there waiting for him to finish changing.
Adrian Grant stood at a towering height of 189cm, proud and tall, with a broad and handsome figure.
His waist was like golden proportions, broad shoulders, narrow waist, eight-pack abs, smooth wheat-colored skin, sexy and sleek, brimming with hormones.
Any woman would find their pulse racing at the sight.
Raina Lowell did not deny that she had been tempted by his appearance back then.
Otherwise, how could she have failed to resist having marital relations with him?
Reflecting on the past year’s encounters with him on bed, Raina Lowell didn’t deny that she felt quite satisfied.
"Had enough of looking?"
Suddenly, the cool voice of the man came from opposite.
Raina Lowell snapped out of it, feeling no embarrassment, with a stern little face she said:
"I want to talk to you."
Adrian Grant buttoned up his pajamas, coldly glancing at her.
"What is there to talk about with you."
He was still upset, retracting his gaze not wanting to look at her.
Raina Lowell braced herself and spoke:
"I can ignore anything between you and Isabelle Everett in the future, even if you bring her over again, I won’t say anything, but I have one condition."
For the sake of her children, enduring some humiliation is no big deal.
Perhaps only Isabelle Everett’s presence could give her the right to stand before this man and negotiate terms.
Adrian Grant couldn’t help but gaze at her.
He didn’t deny that this little thing was born beautiful, with thick eyebrows and big eyes, delicate features, and a soft, charming figure.
Especially when in bed, she always managed to make him want more.
Even though she gave birth to children for another, speaking of him being old, still facing her, he had a strong desire to possess her thoroughly.
Such impulse was never felt with Isabelle Everett.
But for his own dignity and pride, he could never forgive her.
Otherwise, what kind of a person would he be.
Adrian Grant tightly pressed his thin lips without speaking, his handsome face turning frighteningly dark.
Raina Lowell felt inexplicably timid by three percent in her heart.
Lowering her head, she continued:
"As long as you allow me to visit my children every day, let me accompany them more, I won’t interfere between you and Isabelle Everett, okay?"
Afraid he might not agree, Raina Lowell added:
"I can even cover for you two being together, like if you call her over, even if you sleep together, I can pretend nothing happened."
Despite knowing this would hurt her heart.
But compared to this man and her children, she hoped more that her children would be well, and she could always be with them.
Adrian Grant felt increasingly blocked inside.
Especially hearing Raina Lowell finish, he had a murderous intent towards her.
That damned woman indeed didn’t love him a bit.
She so willingly handed him over to another.
Even if he were to be with Isabelle Everett, did it really require her blessing?
Adrian Grant was infuriated, bursting out:
"Do you think you’re being noble?"
Raina Lowell looked at him, "You won’t divorce, yet you love Isabelle Everett in your heart, I’m helping you two.
And if Isabelle Everett were to become pregnant with your child, perhaps grandpa would agree to you being together."
With such understanding, what could he be dissatisfied with?
Which wife on earth would tolerate her husband keeping a mistress by his side?
He should be grateful she had a weakness in his hand, thus she compromised.
"Raina Lowell, are those two bastards really all you care about?"
Adrian Grant tried hard to restrain himself, his eyes piercing at her sharply like blades.
Raina Lowell, furious, retorted: "Mind your words, my children are not bastards."
"If not bastards, what are they? You’re my wife now, but they are unrelated to me, or should I call them your illegitimate children?"
Adrian Grant saw himself as being magnanimous, so far not having done anything towards this woman, nor those two kids.
If it were another man, would he tolerate the existence of those two children?
And this woman, not even trying to please him, beg his forgiveness, even handing him over to another.
If he really had any affair with Isabelle Everett during marriage, she wouldn’t be able to take half of his assets when they divorce.
She truly calculated well.
"You think I wanted to be your wife."
Raina Lowell was sincerely angered by his words, puffing her cheeks as she faced him defiantly.
"Back then, if not for you dragging me to the civil affairs bureau, using grandpa to coerce me into marriage, I would never have married you."
"And my children existed before we got married, how dare you call them illegitimate."
Too much.
Her concessions only brought his insults, why should she be polite to him anymore.
He refused to make a deal, then as long as they weren’t divorced, he could forget about being with Isabelle Everett.
"Yes, I was blind back then to marry such a filthy thing as you."
Adrian Grant didn’t want to keep arguing with her, pointing to the door, he furiously shouted, "Get out."
Otherwise, he couldn’t guarantee that he wouldn’t resort to force the next moment.
Raina Lowell had a temper too, fearlessly retorted:
"Fine, I’ll go. You think I want to be with an old man like you, at your age, who knows how many more women you’ve touched compared to how many men I’ve been with, dare to despise me."
"I’m disgusted by you."
Not knowing where she got the courage to argue back, she quickly disappeared after her words fell.
Afraid the old man might suddenly use force on her.
She was no match for him.
"Raina Lowell."
Adrian Grant gritted his teeth, wanting to get physical, but the little woman wisely slipped away first.
He knew he couldn’t really do anything to that little thing.
He was so furious that he kicked the bedpost with his cotton slippers, instantly feeling sharp pain in his toes and his forehead veins popped out.
