CHAPTER 433: CH 433: WHY LIFE CREATION & DEATH DOMINATION STAGE?
Alex was shocked to discover so many unique aspects of the Life Creation Stage.
Relying on the information about the Life Creation Core provided by his Replication System, he had always accepted it as the complete truth. But now, he realized that what he knew was only part of the truth. Behind those extraordinary abilities lay an unimaginable cost of the sacrifice of one’s Life Creation Core. Such a price was something no Life Creation Stage warrior would ever accept to pay.
Of course, Alex was different. With a treasure like the Life Creation Core in his possession, he could bring the dead back to life or heal even the most severe injuries.
However, Life Creation Cores were one-time treasures. Once used, they vanished forever.
Serena didn’t stop. She continued, "The Death Domination Stage is the next step after the Life Creation Stage. However, this step is not easy. It is even cruel, painful, and filled with danger."
"To reach this stage, a Life Creation Stage warrior must first destroy the very core they once created: the Life Creation Core. This core is the heart of their power, the source of their ability to heal life. You must know that Life Creation Core is the materialization of one’s lifetime worth of comprehension, concept, true meanings, skills, and more. Destroying it means shattering their foundation. The moment they do this, they must endure unimaginable pain. Their body feels as if it is being torn apart, their soul feels like it is burning, and their very life comes close to ending."
"In this process, many warriors fail and truly die. This is why only very few can step into the Death Domination Stage. It requires not only great strength but also an unshakable will. The one who survives this trial is said to have overcome death itself."
"After breaking the Life Creation Core, the shattered pieces do not disappear. Instead, they scatter inside the warrior’s dantian. One must gather those fragments together and from the Death Domination Sea. However, the Death Domination Sea is not a physical ocean. It is an inner world of death energy created inside the warrior’s dantian. This causes a warrior’s spirit energy to transform into death energy, causing their dantian to be filled with the power of destruction, decay, and death. Later, this sea becomes the new foundation of the warrior’s cultivation."
Serena stopped here for a few seconds. Taking a deep breath, she asked, "Now, Alex, tell me, why do you think we must destroy our painstakingly created Life Creation Core just to form a Death Domination Sea? Yes, it allows us to step into the Death Domination Stage, but why must cultivation demand such a cycle of creation and destruction, of life and death?"
When Serena asked this question, Alex noticed that even Cyr’s expression flickered with confusion. But then, as though struck by sudden realization, Cyr’s eyes lit up and he gave a slight nod of understanding.
Alex, however, had no idea what Cyr had realized. No matter how much he thought about it, he couldn’t find a reason why an Origin Martial God had to create the Life Creation Core, only to destroy it afterward and form the Death Domination Sea. The more he pondered over this matter, the more uneasy he felt. At the same time, he felt that something was very wrong with the Death Domination Stage. The Death Domination Sea doesn’t seem to be a blessing at all. After all, it directly affects a warrior’s dantian, even turning their spirit energy into Death Energy. Such a situation is definitely not normal.
Who in their right mind would willingly turn their dantian into a sea of Death Energy?
And more importantly, why must it be Death Energy and not Life Energy?
These were critical questions, yet Alex had no answers.
"I don’t know!" Alex shook his head. At the same time, he had a feeling that Serena was about to reveal something very important, something that might once again overturn his entire understanding.
Indeed, as he had thought, Serena spoke again in a serious voice, "Remember I told you that Life Creation Stage is only one of the two stairs a cultivator must climb before they can step into the realm of True Divinity."
Seeing Alex nodding his head in agreement, she continued, "Death Domination Stage is that second stair."
"Actually, to become a True Divinity, a warrior must sense the Heavenly Dao and comprehend at least a trace of one of its Daos (laws). By going through the Life Creation Stage and the Death Domination Stage, a warrior undergoes the complete cycle of both life and death. In these two stages, they experience the extremes of vitality and mortality, allowing them to understand life and death far more deeply than at any other point in cultivation. This profound experience brings them much closer to the Heavenly Dao of Life and Death."
"After stepping into the Death Domination Stage, as long as they can comprehend either the Dao of Life or the Dao of Death, they can truly transcend mortality and ascend to the rank of True Divinity."
"However, in the case of the Death Domination Stage, a warrior’s dantian transforms into a world filled entirely with Death Energy. Because of this, even if they manage to comprehend the Heavenly Dao of Life or the Heavenly Dao of Death, they are destined to fail their ascension."
"After grasping even a trace of the Heavenly Dao, the first step is to expel the Death Energy and purify it back into Spirit Energy. Only then can they undergo the great transformation required to ascend and truly become a True Divinity."
"This is also one of the main reasons why there are fewer than three True Divinities in the entire galaxy right now."
Alex took a deep breath, finally understanding the meaning behind cultivation stages like the Life Creation Stage and Death Domination Stage.
Had Serena not told him, even if he had become a Life Creation Stage warrior or even a Death Domination Stage warrior, he may not have realized the purpose of these two cultivation stages.
As Alex pondered over Serena’s words, a sudden realization seemed to dawn on him. His brows rose in surprise, and a peculiar light flickered in his eyes. That light was subtle, yet it carried an unmistakable meaning. It was enough for Serena and Cyr to sense that Alex had begun to understand the hidden truth she was trying to convey.
