Enraged Tang San was a thing of equal parts beauty and bone-deep icy danger.

Clear Sky Hammer and Moon Blades clashed against each other, sparks flying as the two enemies danced in a trance, moving faster and faster, eventually leaving behind afterimages.

The Purple Demon eye Tang Yin was having difficulty keeping up as she saw her brother's completely expressionless face, entirely focused.

--

Xie Yue felt the force of impact pushing him back. Each attack harder than the next, each attack more vicious. The gleam of danger in his opponent's eyes gave him a feeling that something had distinctly changed.

He is fighting for the kill.

Hu Liena told him her voice eerily calm as she did so, and Xie Yue knew from that moment on all bets were off, every shred of strategy gone. They were now fighting with their lives on the line.

That changed everything.

Then the poisonous spider's legs shattered. Xie Yue felt a second of relief when he saw it happen, but the expression on Tang San's face told a different story as the man shards floated around.  Controlled, Cool, Unaffected.

Blue spirit energy weaved through the shards makin them appear as if connected by an invisible web.

A self-made spirit ability?

Dodge!

"Dodge!"

Hu Liena screamed, and he heard the same from somewhere outside. A voice faintly familiar.

Then a raw powerful energy pressed down on the entire battlefield, robbing him of his breath.

He saw Tang San in front of him, ashen pale. Nothing like before.

Spirit Energy swirling around them was so powerful and domineering that it pressed the air out of their lungs. Xie Yue felt his spirit fusion with Hu Liena shatter and break into pieces beneath it.

Crushing Spirit power filled the air, as chaos erupted around them, rippling from the Arena to the outside.

Filling the air.

Xie Yue was gasping when he stared at Tang San as a scythe whistled past him. Aiming for San. Suddenly, a flash of blue and white dashed forward, and the scythe was redirected.

In front of Tang San stood a petite girl in a white, frilly dress and a veil. In her hand was a slender, almost snow white blade with delicate flowers and blue river grass spreading from her feet. The other arm was missing, if not for the spirit power oozing from her every pore he would have thought her a harmless spoiled little girl.

Her gaze was deep aqua blue beneath the light the dark raven hair shimmering blue. He could not make out her face, it was obscured by the Veil, but her eyes. They were identical, identical to Tang Sans.

His gaze flickered to Tang San, his eyes the same blue, only much cooler.

Relatives?

Then he saw Tang San storming forward to the one-armed girl. Worry and care reflected inside them. No more of the cold, brutal bloodthirst he had encountered before.

Siblings?

Flashed through his mind before he felt his body move. Now he stood at the edge of a viewing platform. Next to Hu Liena and Yan, every member of their team, even Lucy.

His gaze flickered to Ning Feng, whose gaze was firmly directed in the distance. But he knew when he was teleported, and there was only one person capable of moving them at such speed in this arena.

--

Tang San felt the energy of Feng's Teleport wash over him like a familiar blanket.

Then he found himself right next to Xiao Wu, standing behind Ning Feng. Ning Rong Rong was right next to him with Oscar. On the other side were Zhu Zhuqing, Dai Mubai, and Fatty, who was flying behind them.

All casting a confused look at Ning Feng when they saw Tang Yin fuming with their blade in hand. Standing right next to Chen Xin, whose hand was pressing down on her shoulder.

Their gaze moved to the supreme Pontiff.

"Well, curious. A spirit beast among our mist." She said with a smile on her face.

Her gaze was firm on Ning Feng, who gasped and wobbled on her legs. Moving to Xiao Wu. So did the others as the pressure hit them before their teacher, Zhao Wujis, aura enveloped them in a protective move.

In front of them, Tang Yin was blanketed in a similar protective sheen by her Master Chen Xin.

"A spirit master that should be dead." Bibi Dongs gaze moved to Tang Yin when she said so.

"Curious indeed." She moved to Shrek. "Did you know?"

Behind him, Xiao Wu whimpered. "I am sorry...I am so sorry."

Tang San swallowed. Then he took Xiao Wus hand and pressed down on it in a silent message.

I don't care.

Then the pressure of spirit power grew almost overwhelming.

Tang Yin was enclosed in the arms of Chen Xin as he held her close, with her protest apparent.

The Cold in the supreme pontiff's expression was making all the people present shiver.

"A spirit beast walking right into the heart of Spirit Hall." She said her voice was chilly. "That is indeed brave of you."
