The 100th Attempt to Win Her Back
Craving 171
Chapter171
At this point, Harriet couldn’t help but recall how, a few days ago, Ellsworth had called her Hara and asked if they could not get divorced. But when she asked if he liked her, he chose
silence.
After Harriet finished speaking, Kathie said, “Vicente.”
Before Harriet could respond, Kathie continued, “Looking across all of Amberville, the one I admire most is Vicente. He was Ken’s ssmate in high school, and Ken thinks very highly
of him.”
Vicente?
Hearing that name, Harriet thought of Alvin and Sir Leach.
And that time when she left the Leach’s mansion and brushed
past Vicente’s car–his presence was trulymanding.
And… his handwriting was beautiful, too.
Thinking of this, Harriet smiled and said, “You’re the one who
admires him. You should go for it.”
Chapter171
Kathie frowned, “No way. I’ve only met him twice. Our
personalities don’t match. Hara, you and he would be a better
fit. You and Ken, too.”
In Kathie’s mind, Harriet would be a good match with anyone-
except Ellsworth.
Listening to Kathie, Harriet smiled and said, “I’m a divorced woman. How could I even think about those people? I’d better
focus on my work for now.”
Dealing with Ellsworth was already exhausting and painful
enough. She’d better just focus on her job.
Kathie said, “You don’t have kids, you’re only 23, and if I’m not
mistaken, nothing ever happened between you and my brother,
right?”
…” Harriet.
Kat was a mind reader.
At this point, Kathie continued, “Men like Vicente and Ken, who
are steady and reliable, need a virtuous wife like you. Ellsworth
is blind and doesn’t know how to cherish you. Let’s forget about
him.”
Chapter171
As they talked, the two of them chatted about many other
things.
They ordered takeout for lunch and stayed there all afternoon.
Kathie had several furniture brands send over product photos,
and Harriet picked out a full set for the apartment without even
needing to go shopping.
In the evening, Kathie drove Harriet home.
It waste, so she didn’t go inside.
Watching Kathie’s car drive away, Harriet finally withdrew her
gaze and turned to go home.
When she got home, Jacquelyn and the others had already
gone to bed.
Moving quietly up to the second floor, Harriet had just reached
her bedroom door when Ellsworth came out of the master
bedroom.
Seeing Harriet return, he greeted her nonchntly, “You’re
back.”
Harriet nodded in response, “Mm.”
Chapter171.
Harriet’s demeanor was calm and distant, and her tone with him
was just as cool. Ellsworth looked down at her and asked, “Are you free next Saturday?”
At Ellsworth’s question, Harriet picked up her phone and
checked her calendar, then looked up and said, “I already have
ns for next Saturday.”
Since Harriet wasn’t avable, Ellsworth didn’t say anything more, and Harriet went into the guest bedroom next door.

Monday came, and it was time for work.
As soon as Harriet stepped into the office, Reginald gathered several key technical staff and took them to theb, saying that upper management would being for an inspection.
Although Harriet had only recently joined thepany, she had a patent partnership with them and was the project lead, so she
was called along as well.
Normally, the drive would take two hours, but today, with several colleagues driving, they made it in an hour and a half.
They got a call saying the leaders would arrive at ten, but as the

group gathered at the gate, peering out expectantly, there was
still no sign of them.
Seeing how seriously everyone took it, Harriet wanted to ask
which leader wasing, but in the end, she held back her
curiosity.
Finally, close to eleven, several police cars led the way as a fleet
of ck sedans drove into the park. Reginald and Jonas
immediately perked up.
Harriet quickly looked over as well.
Soon, the leaders got out of the cars, and Reginald led everyone
over to greet them.
It was only then that Harriet saw the leader visiting today was
Vicente, apanied by several other officials.
At that moment, he was surrounded by the crowd, shaking
hands with Reginald.
Seeing Vicente again, Harriet couldn’t help but marvel at his
powerful presence. The moment he appeared, even Reginald’s
aura seemed diminished.
He stood over six feet tall, with a straight posture, perfect

proportions, handsome features, and a refined, gentle
demeanor that still exuded authority.
His high–bridged nose and gentle smile made him instantly
approachable.
No wonder Kat said that, in all of Amberville, Vicente was the
one she admired most.
“Mr. Leach.”
“Prof. Barton, we meet again.”
After the two shook hands and exchanged greetings, Vicente
also shook hands and greeted Jonas and several other senior,
staff standing at the front.
Several apanying journalists kept their cameras rolling the
entire time.
