Craving 200
Chapter200
At Vicente’s words, Harriet let her hands fall back ionto /ithe bed
and looked at him, asking, “Mr. Leach, how did iyou /iknow I was
in the hospital?”
Pulling out the chair Ellsworth had used, Vicente sat down and
said, “I was meeting with Reginald, and when we talked about
your product, he told me you were hospitalized with a foot
injury.”
“Oh!” Harriet responded ndly after hearing this.
Then she tried to get up again, saying, “I should get up and
make iyou /isome tea, Mr. Leach.”
Vicente was amused, stood up, and gently pressed her back
down, saying, “Ms. Chavez, there’s no need to be so polite.
You’re the patient here.”
He then asked, “Is your injury getting better?”
Pressed back down, Harriet had no choice but to sit and replied,
“Much better. Actually, I didn’t even need to be hospitalized, but
it’s inconvenient toe and go for injections, so I stayed.”
Chapter200
Vicente asked again, “Are you here alone? Do you have any
family with you? Is there anything inconvenient in your daily
life?”
Vicente still had a strong air of leadership. Even though he tried
to be careful, his words still carried some habitual authority.
Harriet nodded and replied, “Yes, I have family with me.
Everything’s fine. Thank you for your concern, Mr. Leach.”
Afraid the atmosphere would be awkwardly quiet, Harriet
suddenly remembered something and asked Vicente, “By the
way, Mr. Leach, how is your experience with the robot? Do you
have any suggestions for us?”
Vicente smiled, “Not at the moment. If I have any good
suggestionster, I’ll contact you, Ms. Chavez.”
Harriet said, “Of course, you can contact me anytime. My leg
injury isn’t serious. Once I’m done with the injections, I’ll be
back at work.”

Meanwhile, downstairs in the hospital building.
Ellsworth had already finished meeting with the business

partner and returned to the hospital, arriving at the parking lot.
Earlier, Kelsey had called, saying she wanted to visit Harriet, but
Ellsworth refused.
He told her not toe.
After parking the car and picking up the snacks he had bought
for Harriet, Ellsworth headed upstairs.
Just as he reached the door of the ward and was about to open
it, he heard voices chatting inside.
Vicente?
Ellsworth was very familiar with Vicente’s voice.
Hearing his voice, Ellsworth immediately recalled that it was
Vicente who had hosted Harriet at Sir Leach’s birthday a few
days ago.
He even came to visit her in the hospital–quite courteous.
Thinking of this, Ellsworth pushed the door open with
Inside the room, Harriet and Vicente both looked over as they
heard someone enter.
Chapter200
Harriet looked up, while Vicente turned his head.
Seeing Ellsworth approaching, Vicente was a little surprised.
“Ells.”
Ellsworth entered the room as if nothing had happened, smiling
as he greeted them. “Mr. Leach, what a rare guest.”
Vicente stood up to shake Ellsworth’s hand, smiling as he said,
“Not that rare, I’ve met Ms. Chavez a few times already. Ells, you
must be here to visit Ms. Chavez too.”
He then asked, “Didn’t Ms. Grahame with you?”
When Vicente mentioned Kelsey, Ellsworth withdrew his hand
and gave a careless smile. “Mr. Leach, you do seem quite
concerned.”
Lying on the hospital bed, Harriet nced at the two of them,
sensing a subtle tension in the air.
She looked at Ellsworth, about to ask him to make tea for
Vicente, when Vicente’s phone rang.
Taking his phone iout /iof his pocket, Vicente greeted Ellsworth, said he needed to take a call, and walked over to the window to
answer it.
Chapter200
It was a call from his superior, an old leader.
After finishing the call, Vicente walked back unhurriedly and said gently to Harriet, “Ms. Chavez, I still have some work to
take care of. I’lle visit you another day.”
As he spoke, he looked at Ellsworth, patted him on the arm in greeting, and said, “Ells, I’ll be off then. You and Ms. Chavez can
chat, and please give my regards to your wife for me.”
After saying goodbye to the two of them, Vicente left the hospital room first.
Watching Vicente leave and seeing the door gently close,
Ellsworth turned back to Harriet and said coolly, “Does Vicente
not know you’re married? Not know about our rtionship?”
Sitting on the bed, Harriet picked up a professional book from
beside her, opened it unhurriedly, and said in a calm voice, “He and I only have some work–rted interactions. We don’t talk about personal lives. Besides, for now, I’m still your wife, which isn’t exactly something to be proud of. There’s no need for me
to announce it.”
Except at the Townsend Group, Harriet never revealed her
identity outside. Even at the Townsend Group, she kept her
distance from Ellsworth.
