It flapped its wings and was just about to escape when, from the corner of its eyes, it saw the human point its sword towards it.

This time, the demon did not regenerate back. It was truly and utterly dead after getting sliced by the Third Technique of the [Holy Sword Arts]— [Radiant Cascade].

After finishing off the high ranking demon, Reinhardt glanced at Leona’s fight. Just like him, she was engaged in a fight against a high ranking demon.

Although she was dominating her fight, it was far from being as relaxed and easy as his fight. Nevertheless, as one of the Seven Great Commanders anda knight who was able to reach the mystical level 9, she was among the handful of superhumans who could easily take on a high ranking demon and eliminate it.

Before long, Leona also finished the high ranking demon who was trying to flee from her and turned her attention towards the now leaderless army of low and mid ranking demons.

The knights of the Lunar Veil cried at the epic victory of their commander and ran up to her. Soon, Leona was surrounded by hundreds of members of her order, each holding admiration for her in their eyes.

The demons were gone, and with that, the battle was over. The order of the temple of light helped tend to the injured and healed them with their skills. Soon, they recovered enough to be able to move again.

Seeing that the time was right, Reinhardt quietly slipped away from the scene. Of course, it was just him thinking that he slipped away. In actuality, a man as conspicuous as him was nowhere as stealthy as he believed.

Leona saw him disappear from the corner of her eyes.

The being had pale white skin, long black hair and features that would make him quite handsome. However, if one fell for their looks they would be quite sorry as the person was no human.
