CHAPTER 81: CHAPTER 81- STRENGTH CONTROL

His wife, whom he was looking for all around, was unexpectedly here. What’s more, she looked out of breath. Her robe was completely dishevelled, and one could see parts of her body through the gaps.

Her cleavage that could be seen through her robe fell up and down, and there was some kind of liquid, which he thought was sweat, trickling down her body. Furthermore, when he touched her forehead, he felt her burning up.

"Wait, your cheeks look flushed. Are you okay? Did you catch a cold?"

"T-That’s not the case. I was looking at the relics when..."

BOOM... there was a sudden noise followed by something getting destroyed into bits.

"There is no longer any need to be afraid. I destroyed that thing."

At this moment, Reinhardt appeared from the same corner. His right hand was clenched into a fist and grasping on something that looked like the core of some kind of construct.

"What’s going on? What was that sudden noise?" Rob questioned.

"Ah, it was the golems," Reinhardt pointed at one of the many golems placed along the wall as a defensive measure.

"Ah, you took down the golem? Thank you, young master Reinhardt," Miranda brought her hands near her chest and sighed in relief.

After that, she explained the situation. It appeared that while looking at the relics, she separated from Reinhardt at some point. When she thought of making her way back, the golem attacked her, causing her to run for her life.

"That’s how it is, honey. I accidentally got lost and had to be saved by young master Reinhardt".

So that was the case, Rob nodded his head. No wonder she looked so dishevelled and out of breath. It was because she was running away from those deadly golems. Thanks to his nature, he didn’t delve it this topic anymore.

"Well, as long as you are safe, that’s all that matters. I guess I also need to thank young master Reinhardt for saving my wife".

Having Rob thank him made Reinhardt quite uncomfortable. He scratched his hair saying, "Don’t worry about it".

He was not like Miranda, who could act so normally and flawlessly. Before springing up before her husband, she had hidden most of the signs of their activity.

"Oh, so it was a golem attack, huh. Good thing we found them. Let’s go."

Raymond, who was not far, joined them, and together they got out of the vault. As for what occurred inside, it would forever be locked inside the vault without ever surfacing again.

"Kuh~ I’m sleepy," Miranda lazed "I guess we should call it a night".

And so, the three of them retired for the day.

The next day, Reinhardt got up at the crack of dawn and started exercising his body. Even though all of his stats and skills were overpowered, he was still not used to his powers yet.

He needed to train his body and put it to the grind to adapt to his newfound powers. The trait [Divine Remembrance] made him able to quickly learn all of his skills and techniques back.

However, it was all up to him to handle his physical stats. Thanks to all of his stat reaching [Divine (Beginning)], he had long surpassed the mortal shell. If he didn’t control his strength, he could accidentally bring a disaster.

Even if that was not the case, not having control over one’s strength was quite inconvenient. For example, while training with a practice sword, he had bent the weapon along with its blade numerous times.

Even though they were made from reinforced steel, they were no better than clay in his hands. It was not only during training, but even at times while doing his day to day activities, his inability to control his strength was quite a bother.

Just today, while tying the lace of his boots, he had accidentally torn it. The door to the underground storage room, which had become unusually tight due to rust, he pulled the entire door apart, along with its hinges accidentally.

These were just some of the incidents that were happening to him. Before it escalated and he accidentally hurt someone, he needed to be able to bring himself to better control his strength.

After thinking for a while, he arrived at a solution, and that was to practice martial arts. As a knight who reached the class of level 10 Divine Paladin, the previous Reinhardt knew quite a few martial arts.

However, all of those were of no use for the current body. To control his Divine stats, he needed martial arts that had actually reached the realm of the Divine. That is to say, the three martial arts he received from Dioanax.

[Holy Blade Arts], [Aegis Saint Arts] and [Godhand Ascendance].

The [Holy Blade Arts] would be too flashy. Besides, he seemed to be currently be unable to swing any sword other than the Solar Edge.

The [Aegis Saint Arts] cannot be performed without a shield. This naturally left the [Godhand Ascendance], a martial art made for unarmed combat. As he took a deep breath and focused his mind, words appeared in his head.

"A sword may break, but these hands shall never falter."

This combat style allowed Reinhardt to fight with his bare hands. It did not matter if he was fighting an armed opponent or thousands of enemies. His bare fists and body were the greatest weapon there was.

Great, that’s what he needed right now. If he followed the basics of the martial arts, he should be able to have complete control over his physical strength. And so, Reinhardt got into practicing the [Godhand Ascendance].

He was so engrossed in his training that a few hours passed by without him knowing.

Phew... standing on an empty ground with his eyes closed, Reinhardt released a deep breath. At the same time, following his breathing technique, his muscles roared, coming alive. The next instant, he threw a punch with lightning like reflexes.
