The Alpha King And His Omega
Chapter 54 - 054
CHAPTER 54: 054
Tristan’s mind had been on and off throughout the day. The question Nita asked last night, he could not provide an answer to.
Does he like him? He doesn’t know, but he knows for a fact that he does not hate the Alpha.
He could not hate him because throughout the time they spent together, he had treated him well, although it was rocky at the start, it had gotten better.
And truly it was beyond his expectation because he knew how disgusting and heartless most Alphas are.
And being an Alpha king, he had treated him better than anyone had done before in his entire life, and he was grateful for that.
That alone made it painful when he thought about how he parted.
Despite the fact that he wanted them to part ways on good records, he had gotten angry with him and threw him out of the house. But what can he do?
He picked up his life right where he had left it off, now back in school.
He’s trying to make amends for last semester’s examination and all the days he had missed in school.
Walking out of the administrative office where he went to make some inquiry, he felt a pair of eyes on him, but he didn’t look back.
He kept walking because that has never been a good sign. Either his bullies or someone he knows, and the second option is very unlikely. He knows nobody here except Nita.
"Tristan". A bold voice called him.
He paused. His body went cold, but he did not turn back.
He continued towards his exit, quickening his pace, but the person followed.
"Wait, I want to speak to you!"
He turned around to face him, immediately recognizing his voice.
"Trevor," he whispered under his breath.
Looking at his face made him remember what happened at the party. How the Alpha had forcefully kissed him but he had nothing to say to him.
And he couldn’t even blame him, because he is one of the few people that really care about him.
He probably got carried away by the heat of the moment, and Tristan looked at him awkwardly as he waited for him to continue his statement.
"I-I... I am very sorry". Trevor began, stumbling on words.
"I had drank a little too much at the party that night, and I wasn’t thinking straight. I’m so sorry. I have been looking around to see you since then, and I haven’t except today."
He continued in a low voice.
"It’s fine, it’s all right", Tristan replied and moved to walk away.
"Wait! Wait, oh sorry, " he apologized. As he touched his arm to stop him from walking away.
"Let me treat you to lunch. Count it as my way of apologizing to you properly." He offered.
"I am not free to go out for lunch with you. I have a lot of things to do today," Tristan replied, looking down at the book he held.
"Oh no, not today, it might be the weekend or when you have time to spare," Trevor replied, scratching the back of his neck.
He smiled slightly as he watched Tristan consider his offer. Tristan nodded after a few seconds of hesitation.
He had nothing to lose by going on lunch with him, and he knew the Alpha might not stop until he actually agreed to go with him.
They parted ways and Tristan went to the library. He was so engrossed in the book he held that he did not notice the people behind him.
He has been alone since he got to school this morning because Nita said she had nothing to do in school and he has a lot to do.
"Hey Omega", someone whispered in his ear and he jumped almost out of his seat.
He turned around to see the three of them had circled him, his heart thumped loudly in his ears. He looked at them fearfully. He has no idea they could follow him into the library. They had always bullied him since he resumed school.
"What do you want?" he asked them.
"It seems someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today". One of them commented and the rest burst into loud laughter.
"Don’t you miss us? One of them asked as a smirk played around his lips.
Tristan breathed in nervously as he looked up at them. They were terrifyingly taller than him. He had always hated them.
They prey on weak Omegas like him, and at this moment he hated himself for the fact that he could not stand up to them. They are one of his problems.
"You know we can’t make too much noise here, right? So how about you come with us? We have something to discuss with you." The third one said with a smile.
Tristan looked around for someone to help or an escape route, but there was nothing.
"Look at us when we are talking to you". One of them said and lightly smacked on the cheek, forcing him to look at him.
Tristan’s hands grew sweaty and he knew he had to do something.
"Can you guys leave me alone? I have a lot to cover", he asked, silently begging.
"We also have lots of cover. Why do you think we are here? So, how about we leave now?"
Since the school forbade any type of violence, open violence against Omega, they took him to their car and drove off.
Tristan looked back at the school and he sat in between two of them in the backseat, his hand tightly clasped between his lap.
How has things been going this wrong recently? He thought sadly.
Tears burned in his eyes but he stared clearly ahead. If he could not get away from them anytime soon, he was doomed and he knew it.
They stopped at a restaurant and he frowned in confusion.
"A restaurant?"
He was still confused until they dragged him out of the car and into the empty restaurant. He was about to ask what they were doing there until he saw the Alpha.
"No",he muttered under his breath and took a step back.
