CHAPTER 75: 075

Alpha Mitch woke up with a groan, he draped a hand over his face as the sun had risen to its highest point and the rays had woken him up.

He frowned slightly and slowly sat up, he noticed that he was completely bare with no piece of clothing on him.

The strangeness of that quickly left him as he realised he wasn’t in his room and the person sleeping beside him.

He searched his memory to remember what had happened and how he ended up there but nothing was coming forth. His memory was completely blank.

He pulled the covers off him and got off the bed, he went into the closet to search for a robe before he returned to the Omega.

"Are you awake?" He called softly, but he got no response. Turning him over by the shoulder, he was perturbed by the expression on his face.

Tristan stared up at him with teary eyes, he had woken up a few hours ago. His entire body was aching as if he was crushed by a car, and it’s because of him.

He had barely slept through the night as the Alpha continuously reached for him until he exhausted himself.

"What happened?" Alpha Mitch inquired, alarmed, he tried to lift him up.

Tristan let out a soft cry in pain, he laid limply as he carried him up to rest his back on the head.

"Did I hurt you?" Alpha Mitch asked and cupped his face. He watched the drained look on his face get worse as his face contorted in pain.

"I’m sorry. I’m so sorry". He said in a hurry and lifted the covers.

Tristan felt the ache on his body doubled as he moved him around.

It had been alright at first but he soon realised he couldn’t keep up and tried to tell him but he wasn’t even listening to him.

All he wants now is to be alone.

"Can you please leave me alone?" Tristan spoke up in an unstable voice. His eyes meeting the Alpha’s. Staring back at his fear in his blue eyes made him unsure of what to say. He wasn’t even angry, he was just in pain and exhausted.

Alpha Mitch has no idea what to do after he said that but he had to do something.

"Should I get a doctor? Alpha Mitch asked helplessly, he sat

"No!

No need. I’m fine". Tristan quickly stopped him.

A doctor would expose his secret so fast it would be too late to tell the truth.

Alpha Mitch wasn’t convinced by his words but was feeling extremely regretful.

He finally left after a while but called on the maid to care for him.

Tristan smiled at his maid as she walked inside after knocking briefly.

Her eyes went to the clothes lying around on the floor and she knew what had happened there. She had been restless through the night because she had no idea what the outcome of Adriana’s plan was.

She expected an outburst from the Alpha or something along that line but the apologetic look on his face surprised her.

"You must be hungry, should I bring some food?" She asked and went around picking up the clothes.

Tristan exhaled softly.

"No, I don’t want to eat". He replied weakly.

"No, you have to. It’s almost time for lunch and you haven’t had breakfast." She convinced him, and didn’t wait for a response before leaving the room.

She stood outside the door with a deep frown and tried to understand what happened when she heard a commotion from one of the rooms.

Hurrying to the spot she was shocked to see the Alpha hold Adriana by the neck and his teeth blaring at her as he growled angrily.

"What the hell did you do?" Alpha Mitch asked through gritted teeth, the word reverberating through the room.

Adriana grinned as she looked up at him.

She had been very pissed last night that even while he was under the influence of the drug he went to find the Omega, that was the lowest point her pride could hit.

"I did nothing". She spat back at him, her eyes widened as his fist tightened again and her feet lifted off the ground.

"I have been ignoring your tricks for far too long!.

This is the last one!" He bellowed and threw her to the ground.

Adriana coughed violently and clutched at her neck as her life just flashed in front of her eyes.

She looked up at him with eyes filled with anger.

She hurried off the floor and pushed him with all her might.

"For all these years, it’s been us. Just us!

But you brought in that scrawny little Omega and changed!" She yelled on top of her lungs.

Alpha Mitch’s eyes narrowed at her and in the next seconds he dragged her by the arms.

"Let me go!" She screamed and tried to fight out of his hold.

He effortlessly threw her out of the front door.

"Make sure she never steps her feet back in here, if she does you will all pay for it!" Alpha Mitch yelled at the men on guard outside.

They all listened and watched everything unfold with disbelief.

"You stupid asshole!. I will make sure you regret this!" Adriana yelled after him as he walked back inside the mansion in boiling anger.

He stopped when he got to the bottom of the stairs and sighed heavily.

His heart tightened painfully and his legs became heavy.

"I hurt him" he thought in deep regret.

He walked back to the Omega’s room and knocked on the door.

Ordinarily, he would have gone inside without knocking but he was unsure of what was happening inside and if he wanted to see him now or not.

The maid came to the door and she was surprised to see him by the door.

"Can I come inside?".

"He just fell asleep now". She replied and the Alpha looked behind her into the room.

"I think something is wrong". She whispered softly to the Alpha anxiously.
