CHAPTER 226: CHAPTER 226: I’M WAITING FOR YOU IN BED

Yisen followed Munni out of the piano room, his delicate lips curling into a gentle smile, "Munni is so considerate and kind."

The praise came naturally from his mouth, but for some reason, Munni always felt there was something deeper in his words.

"Don’t overthink it. It’s just that you took care of me when I was sick last time, so seeing you sick now, I couldn’t just stand by and do nothing."

Her explanation made Yisen’s smile grow a bit brighter. Originally, he hadn’t intended to tease her, but hearing her words sparked a mischievous thrill in him.

"Didn’t you just say that if you hadn’t come to save me, I’d probably be found dead at home? Munni, you’re my savior. I have nothing to repay you with but myself!"

His voice was slightly hoarse, filled with an indescribable excitement.

Munni suddenly stopped in her tracks, turned around, and shot him a look as if she’d seen a ghost, "Did you burn out your brain?"

Yisen grinned at her, "No, I’m very clear-headed!"

His face was bright with a somewhat sinister smile, causing Munni to shrug and quickly hasten her steps while mumbling, "What’s gotten into Yisen? He’s acting so ridiculous!"

Yisen followed behind her, his lips stretching into a radiant smile.

While Munni was cooking in the kitchen, Yisen sat at the bar the entire time, supporting his chin with one hand, his gaze following her every move, showing no signs of a patient needing rest.

Munni felt uncomfortable being stared at so intently, so she slammed the knife she held onto the sweet potato, cutting it in half, making a sharp clashing sound on the cutting board.

After chopping, she tossed the knife aside impatiently, "Yisen, stop staring at me with that foolish lovestruck look!"

Yisen blinked innocently at the increasingly frustrated Munni, "I wasn’t staring at you like that; it was quite romantic."

Munni picked up the knife again, holding it up, threatening Yisen with an intimidating look, "Go back to your room and rest!"

The sharp knife glinted cold silver under the light, carrying a chill with it.

"I want to savor the aroma of food in the kitchen."

"You’re bothering me."

"Am I distracting you?"

"En."

"Seems like your eyes really love me; they keep glancing my way."

"...!"

Munni couldn’t figure out where Yisen got the confidence to draw such a conclusion. Her eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of danger flashed within them.

"Do you want to go back to your room, or should I go home?"

Yisen knew Munni was genuinely impatient and dared not be insensitive any longer.

As soon as Munni finished speaking, he wisely stood up from the bar stool, "Then, Munni, I’ll go back to my room to rest for a while."

Standing at the counter, Munni waved her hand impatiently, signaling him to quickly disappear from her sight.

Before leaving, Yisen directed a mischievous smile at Munni, then teasingly said, "I’ll be waiting for you in bed."

"...!"

Before Munni, angry, could throw the knife at him, Yisen sensibly slipped out of the dining room quickly.

After preparing the dinner and placing it on the table, Munni went to Yisen’s room to call him to eat.

At that moment, Yisen was lounging lazily against the headboard reading a book. Hearing footsteps, he lifted his gaze towards Munni.
