CHAPTER 311: CHAPTER 311: WORRYING ABOUT MY FUTURE WIFE IS TOTALLY JUSTIFIED

She lowered the car window, pretending to be serious and asked, "Sir, may I ask what you need?"

Xu Yisen hung up the phone in his hand, his face full of cheerfulness, "Yes, I wanted to ask if the lady has time to go on a date with me?"

Qin Muni put on her sunglasses, the smile at the corner of her lips carrying a hint of arrogance, "Sorry, not interested."

Xu Yisen gentlemanly opened the car door for her, "A handsome guy like me asks you out, you’re not going to seriously consider it?"

Qin Muni disdainfully curled her lips, "Not considering it."

Having said that, she took the lead and walked away, Xu Yisen quickly followed behind her, speeding up to walk by her side, slightly collecting the playful expression on his face, and asked seriously, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I’m fine."

"Good to hear, from now on, always go out with a bodyguard. You’re so beautiful, I would worry if you went out alone."

Qin Muni stopped in front of the elevator, gave him a sideways glance with a half-smile, "Why are you worrying yourself over nothing."

Xu Yisen said as if it were a matter of course, "It’s only natural to worry about my future wife."

The elevator arrived, Qin Muni lifted her leg and entered the elevator, Xu Yisen followed behind her, observing her disapproving glance yet unresponsive, then he smiled with a roguish tone and said softly, "Actually, I don’t just worry about you, I also want you."

Qin Muni probably never thought in her lifetime she would hear such down-to-earth and roguish words from Xu Yisen, the chairman of Fanshu Group!

Faced with Qin Muni’s incredulous gaze, Xu Yisen innocently shrugged his shoulders, with a look that seemed to say... I don’t know how those words just popped out of my mouth.

"Yisen, who have you been hanging out with recently?"

"You." Xu Yisen’s expression was even more innocent.

Alright, Qin Muni thought she couldn’t even blame his friends for being a bad influence.

"Munni." Xu Yisen put his hand on Qin Muni’s shoulder, with a playful tone unconsciously mixed with a hint of seriousness: "How about you just be with me? Become my makeshift wife?"

"Knowing it’s a bandit’s lair, I’d still jump in. Do you think I’m really stupid?" Qin Muni disdainfully swatted away Xu Yisen’s hand from her shoulder.

"But reliable bandit lairs like this are rare, you won’t find another one if you miss this chance. Seize the opportunity and let’s get back together."

Saying this, he tried to put his hand on Qin Muni’s shoulder again, but before his hand fell, the elevator door opened, and Qin Muni quickly walked out of the elevator, muttering, "This isn’t Xu Yisen, this is clearly a hoodlum."

Xu Yisen held back his laughter and followed her out of the elevator, defending himself, "You need to understand a man who throws away his pride to pursue a wife."

"Sorry, I really can’t understand."

Qin Muni stood at the door entering the password on the lock and then opened the door to enter the house.

Xu Yisen followed her inside, muttering, "If you can’t understand, there’s nothing that can be done, I guess I’m stuck with you for life."

Qin Muni turned her back to him and smiled slightly, a gentle wave reflected in her eyes involuntarily.

She waved her hand at Xu Yisen without turning her head and walked directly towards the stairs, "I’m going to the study to read, make yourself at home."

"Yeah, got it."

Xu Yisen did not follow her to the study, he took off his suit jacket, threw it on the sofa, and turned to the kitchen.

He brewed a pot of hot tea, prepared a fruit plate, opened the fridge, took out the mille-feuille cake he had bought for Qin Muni yesterday, cut two slices, placed the food and forks on a tray, and as he was about to leave the kitchen, remembered he had an important task yet to be completed.
