The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day
Chapter 302: Get in Bed
CHAPTER 302: CHAPTER 302: GET IN BED
She was surprised to find that Damian Knight had deep insights in this area, speaking concisely and with precision.
After more than ten minutes, Damian hung up the phone, and Summer Monroe learned a lot of new knowledge from his words.
She couldn’t help but speak: "Damian, I find you’re really quite good at business."
Damian lay on the floor, casually opened his mouth: "I’m also good at other things."
He made a double entendre, but Summer didn’t catch it and nodded: "Indeed, you can play chess, code... except cooking."
Damian pouted, a bit sulky.
What he wanted Summer to understand, she didn’t; what he didn’t want her to know, she understood plenty.
He simply turned over and said sullenly: "It’s late, lights out, sleep!"
Summer could hear the displeasure in Damian’s tone. She turned off the light with a bewildered face, but didn’t think much of it. After all, Damian’s temper has always been unpredictable, and she’s used to it.
The night grew deeper.
Once the light was off, the room was in complete darkness, with threads of moonlight creeping in, bringing a glimmer to the dark bedroom.
It seems tomorrow is going to be a sunny day.
As Summer thought about it, drowsiness gradually set in, and as she was about to fall asleep, she heard the rustling sound of Damian turning over, bringing the quilt with him.
She was a light sleeper to begin with, and Damian’s turning over chased away her drowsiness.
Summer helplessly turned over too.
Before long, as Summer was about to doze off again, Damian turned over once more...
Summer couldn’t help it anymore and asked: "Damian, why aren’t you sleeping?"
"It’s too hard, I can’t sleep..." Damian’s voice was muffled, seemingly with a bit of grievance.
As he spoke, he turned over once again.
Summer curled her lips and said: "That’s why I told you to go home to sleep, but you wouldn’t listen..."
"Wasn’t I doing it to play along with your act?" Damian said, pausing, then asked: "Can I..."
Before Damian finished speaking, Summer directly interjected: "No!"
Damian sighed like a macho man: "Hey... I haven’t even finished."
Summer, with her eyes closed, said: "Then say it."
Damian’s tone perked up: "Can I sleep with you?"
However, the response to Damian was still: "No!"
Damian: "..."
Half an hour later.
Unable to bear it anymore, the light-sleeper Summer sat up and turned on the lamp with a "pop".
Damian sat up with a bewildered look and asked: "What’s wrong?"
Summer closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and said: "Get on the bed!"
Damian instinctively said: "What nonsense are you talking about, who wants to..."
The next second, Damian paused, his eyes lighting up as he looked at Summer: "Are you letting me up to sleep?"
"Stop the nonsense, hurry up. But if you turn around again and again, you’ll go sleep in your own house!"
"Got it!"
Damian stuck two fingers on his right hand to his ear, quickly got up, and climbed onto the bed with his quilt.
Summer moved aside, placed a pillow between them, and only then turned off the light to sleep.
At that time, the clock’s hand pointed to 1 a.m. Fortunately, Damian finally stopped fidgeting, and Summer quickly fell asleep.
Only Damian lay wide-eyed, without any hint of sleep.
For the first time in his life, he lay on the same bed with a woman...
The feeling... he had to admit, was really quite nice.
Although... the distance between them was wide enough to fit two people.
