CHAPTER 344: CHAPTER 344: SMART BEYOND HIS YEARS

Mrs. William hesitated with a smile, but finally nodded: "Yes, your sister will be back soon."

The little boy cheered happily.

Mrs. William patted the little boy’s head and said, "Quick, go make a cup of coffee for your sister’s guest."

"I’m on it!" The little boy was gone almost before he finished speaking.

Mrs. William looked at Damian Knight with a doting and helpless smile, "It’s really kind of you to come all this way to see us."

Damian Knight lifted the gift in his hand and said, "This is a small gesture from me, please accept it."

Mrs. William quickly waved her hand, "No need, no need, these gifts are too valuable. I’m already very happy that you came to tell me about her recent situation."

Damian Knight saw genuine concern and gratitude on Mrs. William’s face.

He felt a slight sense of relief, it seemed the William family truly treated Summer Monroe well.

This is good, it can make up for some of the family affection Summer has missed.

"Ma’am, please accept it. I’ve already bought the gift, and I wouldn’t know who to give it to if I took it back. Besides, I’ve received a lot of help from Summer. This is a meeting gift that I should bring."

Mrs. William couldn’t refuse anymore and had to accept it.

She invited Damian Knight to sit in the living room and asked with concern, "Now that Pat isn’t here, can you tell me her real situation?"

Obviously, Mrs. William didn’t believe what Damian Knight had just said to Pat.

She knew what Summer was really doing, so it certainly couldn’t be as easy as Damian Knight described.

Damian Knight pondered for a moment, but chose to provide comforting news, saying, "Ma’am, you’re overthinking it. Summer is a very smart girl, no matter what situation she encounters, she can easily resolve it. Also, a few of us friends are helping her; she is indeed doing well now. Although things aren’t completely settled, she should be back soon."

Mrs. William finally felt a sense of relief after hearing that.

"That’s good..." she said, showing a proud smile, "She really is a smart girl, learns everything very quickly, and always surpasses expectations. I really don’t know what kind of people could raise such a brilliant child. If that person wasn’t already gone, I would have wanted to meet her."

Damian Knight nodded, "Me too."

He also wanted to meet Mrs. Luna Monroe, to thank her for raising such an incredibly intelligent daughter.

Since Pat was Summer’s brother, then he was his brother too.

Pat took out a crumpled letter from his pocket and handed it to him, whispering, "Daddy and Mommy won’t let me contact my sister, but I really miss her. Can you deliver this letter to her and promise not to read it?"

Damian Knight chuckled softly and nodded, "No problem, I’ll make sure to deliver it to her exactly as it is."
