CHAPTER 347: CHAPTER 347: FAVORABLE TIMING AND GEOGRAPHY

Sometimes, when you want to accomplish something, you need the right timing, location, and people; missing any one of them won’t work.

She has been hiding for so long, she doesn’t care about such a trivial amount of time.

Don’t mention a week or a month; even if she has to wait another year, she has the resolve and patience for it.

During lunch, Henry Stanton was also at home.

The two of them sat across from each other, and the lunch seemed exceptionally quiet.

Summer Monroe heard Henry Stanton sigh after putting down his chopsticks, gazing thoughtfully at the spot where Stella Monroe often sat.

After all, they had been married for ten years; Henry Stanton still couldn’t let go of Stella Monroe.

Summer took it all in and timely spoke up, "Dad, do you have any plans for the afternoon? If not, should we go visit Aunt?"

This suggestion struck a chord with Henry Stanton.

He appeared hesitant, so Summer catered to his vanity and spoke again, "Even if Aunt embarrassed you, you and Aunt are husband and wife, and there’s nothing that can’t be resolved between a couple. The most important thing is to cure Aunt’s illness first. We might find her much better now?"

Only then did Henry Stanton nod, "Since there’s nothing else this afternoon, let’s head out in a bit."

Summer nodded with a smile.

She reckoned that Stella Monroe should have regained her senses by now and was curious to see Stella’s expression upon seeing her.

After all, Stella Monroe had confided such a significant secret to her, and would probably least want to see her at this moment.

Intrigued, Summer quickly packed up, dressed up brightly, and then went downstairs to accompany Henry Stanton to the psychiatric hospital.

Today, Henry Stanton drove himself, as he didn’t want more people to know that Stella Monroe was staying in a psychiatric hospital.

However, sitting alone in a car with Henry Stanton felt suffocating for her, so she simply opened all the windows and leaned her head against one of them to get some fresh air.

Yet, seeing her like this, Henry Stanton chuckled, "You still look exactly the same as you did when you were a child."

Summer raised an eyebrow as Henry Stanton continued, "When you were young, every time I took you out, you liked to put your head up against the car window. Then I scared you with a story about a mischievous kid who stuck his whole head out of the window and ended up losing his head when a car came from the opposite direction. After that, you never dared to stick your head out again."

At this point, Henry Stanton glanced at her, with a hint of regret, saying, "But you don’t remember anything from back then."

Summer responded with a "hmm," as Henry Stanton asked again, "Can’t you remember anything from before?"

Upon hearing this, a wary look immediately surfaced in Summer’s eyes.

Asking once might genuinely be out of regret, but asking the same thing twice meant Henry Stanton had ulterior motives.

He was probing her!

It seemed that over these past few days, Henry Stanton’s suspicions had yet to dissipate.

He’s truly a suspicious person.

Summer turned her head to look at Henry Stanton, her expression now replaced with sadness and regret.

She shook her head and said, "I don’t remember... I really want to recall, but I can’t remember anything. I can’t even remember what Mom looked like..."

She added, "I tried finding Mom’s photos but could only search online. Dad, do you have any photos of Mom?"

Henry Stanton’s grip on the steering wheel tightened as he cleared his throat and said, "No... your mom never liked taking photos, and back then, phones weren’t as advanced as they are today. Apart from her portrait, there are no other photos left."
