CHAPTER 115: CHAPTER 112 DOES THIS PERSON EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE ANYMORE?

"Xiao Mo, do you think you would fight for someone else?" Qi Longbing frowned as he looked at her.

"You need to behave this month, got it?" Qi Longbing frowned, clearly not understanding why this charge of his was so disobedient.

Hua Xiaomo’s face turned red with anger as she looked at him and said indignantly, "I certainly wouldn’t fight for someone else, President Qi!"

Suddenly, Hua Xiaomo’s face grew even redder. Turning her face quickly to the side, she bit her lip and muttered, "How annoying! I really want to go out right now!"

Qi Longbing looked at her bashful face, and his irritation oddly subsided a great deal.

A devilishly handsome smile played across his face as he slowly put on his coat. "Hua Xiaomo, you don’t have to pretend to be so pure, do you?"

Her eyes narrowed with rage. "Me, pretend to be pure?" However, she still turned her face toward the wall with floral ceramic tiles.

Suddenly, he nudged her with his elbow, and his shadow fell over her.

"Isn’t that the case? Are you still trying to deny you’ve seen me?" Qi Longbing smirked, eying the woman in front of him. He found teasing her to be truly entertaining!

"I didn’t say I wouldn’t admit..." Hua Xiaomo’s words were cut off mid-sentence.

He immediately cut her off, "So, you admit you’ve seen me, then? Well, in that case, you have to take responsibility!"

"Take responsibility?" On hearing those words, Hua Xiaomo felt a bit dizzy. What in the world does he mean by that? Does this man have any sense of reason?

Suddenly, Hua Xiaomo realized she had encountered someone entirely unreasonable.

"HEH HEH..." Qi Longbing’s smile widened as he watched her. But seeing her furrowed brows and apparently displeased expression, he reached out and tousled her short hair. "Don’t be like that. Cheer up. Being with me shouldn’t be that stressful, right?"

Not stressful? As if! The stress is mountainous, okay!!

Hua Xiaomo pushed his hand away. "Stop that, you’ve made my hair a mess."

Qi Longbing chuckled, a dangerous smile curving his lips. His gaze inadvertently drifted toward the trash bin next to the toilet, which surprisingly contained several eggshells.

"You snacked without telling me?" Qi Longbing asked with a laugh, while mussing her hair again, making the hair she had just smoothed out even messier.

Hua Xiaomo was so frustrated she didn’t know how to vent it. She simply stepped back two paces, looked at him, and said with a forced smile, "President Qi really understands, doesn’t he? I was just hungry and ate an egg. Does that count as snacking?"

"Of course. During working hours... you can’t do other things, got it?" Qi Longbing continued with a smile.

"Oh? And what exactly are you doing now, President Qi?" Hua Xiaomo retorted, unwilling to back down.

"I... can do anything I want. But you, you can’t! Understand?" Qi Longbing smiled again, his stunningly handsome face beaming like sunshine, clearly enjoying this manner of conversation.

So, he finds it interesting that I sneaked eggs in the office? If he likes eggs that much, I guess I could share some with him. Still, I feel I shouldn’t be doing other things during work hours. After all, I’m his employee, right? As his employee, I should be thinking about work all the time, not slacking off. That would make him angry. It would also lower work efficiency and drain all motivation. No matter what, I should have eaten a proper breakfast at breakfast time, not during work hours.

Hua Xiaomo bit her lip in annoyance, managing a smile. "...Understood, clear. I’ll go get some work done now." So irritating! He even has to comment on a simple breakfast. How can anyone eat under these circumstances? Well, actually, I didn’t really have breakfast. I rushed out so quickly this morning. That left me no time to eat, so I brought two eggs to my desk. I just found a chance to eat them now. And I just had to get caught by this boss! Ugh, being discovered by the boss is so uncomfortable, and he even had to lecture me about it!

Having said her piece, without waiting for him to say anything more, she yanked open the bathroom door. Outside, all was quiet. Even the messy disarray was nowhere to be seen.
