The CEO's Substitute Ex-Wife
Chapter 302: Husband’s Jealousy
CHAPTER 302: HUSBAND’S JEALOUSY
Ye Feimo smiled, and Wen Nuan’s eyes lit up. "What kind of headline do you think it will have tomorrow? ’Second Young Master Ye’s Midnight Rendezvous with a Mysterious Woman at a Cafe’? Oh, that’s exciting."
As a seasoned media professional and president of Anning International, who frequently appeared in entertainment headlines, Ye Feimo scoffed at Wen Nuan’s suggestion. "You’re excited that your husband is in a headline with another woman?"
Wen Nuan raised an eyebrow. "Of course. Because it’s you and me in the headline! I’ve never been in a headline with you before."
Ye Feimo, "..."
When they got home, Wen Nuan’s parents were already asleep, but the light in Wen Jing’s room was still on. Wen Nuan told Ye Feimo to go back to their room while she went to find Wen Jing. When she entered the room, Wen Jing was in the bathroom, and her laptop was open on her desk.
Curious, Wen Nuan walked over. The laptop screen showed a very complex diagram of a weapon. It looked like a cannon, but it wasn’t. The page was filled with English analysis of the weapon’s name, function, structure, lethality, and bullet type, along with some technical terms she didn’t understand.
What was Wen Jing up to?
"Sister... are you looking for me?" Wen Jing came out of the bathroom, wearing a pink long nightgown with her hair down. She looked stunningly beautiful, though her features were still a little childlike. Wen Nuan pointed to the screen. "What is this?"
She had seen something similar on Mo Xiaobai’s computer. She had forgotten what Mo Xiaobai had said about it, a little fuzzy on the details because she didn’t understand.
"Oh, that? It’s a game. I’m playing a new military strategy game. It’s really fun," Wen Jing said with a laugh, walking over and typing a few keys on the keyboard. A game screen appeared.
It was indeed a military game with many different weapon classifications. Wen Nuan suddenly understood. She must have been overthinking it.
"Where did you go tonight? You were gone for dinner. I don’t know when you get home every night. You should come back earlier from now on. Mom and Dad worry about you."
"Haha, what could happen to me? My friend from elementary school just came back to the country and wanted to get familiar with the area, so I’ve been with him for the past few days," Wen Jing said, pushing Wen Nuan out of the room. "Sister, go have fun with your husband. Don’t leave him alone in the room. A spring night is short."
"Damn it, Wen Jing, where did you learn that?"
To think that when she was fourteen, she was so innocent that she didn’t even know what a "spring night" was.
Wen Jing smiled mischievously and closed the door.
The smiling expression on her face suddenly turned serious. She walked to the computer, tapped a few keys, and the weapon diagram Wen Nuan had seen earlier reappeared. She sat in front of the computer, her fingers continuously typing on the keyboard. Before long, another weapon diagram appeared—this one was a new kind of rifle that rotated on the screen. The image was reflected in Wen Jing’s young eyes, making her look particularly calm and composed.
Wen Nuan sat on the bed, her mind still on the image she had seen on Wen Jing’s computer. She felt something was a little strange, but she couldn’t pinpoint what it was. What was so strange about it? Would a young girl be so interested in such a violent and bloody game?
But then again, Wen Jing’s interests had always been different from others.
Ye Feimo wrapped his long arms around her from behind. "What are you thinking about?"
"My younger sister. She’s been so mysterious lately."
Ye Feimo reached out to unbutton her clothes, his warm lips leaving hot kisses on the back of her neck. "She’s at the age of her first love. Maybe she’s dating someone. Why are you so worried?"
"Dating?" Wen Nuan’s eyes widened. "No way, I’m against puppy love. I have to talk to her."
Ye Feimo lifted her up by the waist and threw her onto the bed, then climbed on top of her. "You had puppy love yourself. Why are you telling her not to?"
Wen Nuan thought about it. "I guess you’re right..."
Ye Feimo’s eyes darkened, and he kissed her fiercely.
He was particularly rough tonight, as if she were his sworn enemy rather than his new wife. His anger was fully conveyed to her through his rough caresses and movements. In her daze, Wen Nuan understood.
Someone was jealous again.
And he was drinking that jealousy like a madman.
He made her so confused that she completely lost her rationality. Just as he was about to enter her, she remembered one thing. "Use a condom..."
Ye Feimo forced his way into her tight passageway, ignoring her completely. Wen Nuan let out a soft moan and patted his shoulder. "Feimo, you..."
"Next time," Ye Feimo said, using force in his hips and thrusting deeply. Wen Nuan’s heart felt a pang, and a strong current shot through her body. Ye Feimo had already begun his conquest on his territory.
Intense rhythm accompanied by splashing sweat, the room was filled with a warm sensuality.
In her daze, Wen Nuan pinched his waist. This man was always ruled by his desires. Every time she told him to use a condom, he would either say "next time" or "it’s too late," or that he was allergic to them. He would die before he used one.
He wouldn’t even let her take birth control pills, saying they would harm her body. She wanted to stomp on him to death.
He was doing it on purpose. She didn’t want to become a mother so young, even though she loved children. "Oh, little baby, you have to come later. Ye Feimo, you’re dead tomorrow."
Wen Nuan woke up late the next day, sleeping until ten o’clock. Her entire body ached. That bastard, Ye Feimo, was really rough last night. Luckily, their house had good soundproofing; otherwise, it would have been mortifying.
After a comfortable hot bath, Wen Nuan changed her clothes and went downstairs. It was almost eleven o’clock. Wen Nuan’s mother was preparing to cook, and her father had already left for work. Wen Jing was in the living room alone, playing a game on her tablet.
The house was very quiet.
"Good morning, sister!" Wen Jing looked up to greet her, then went back to her game. Wen Nuan let out a small yawn and collapsed onto the sofa like a pile of mud. Wen Nuan’s mother came out of the kitchen and shook her head at her exhausted state.
"Sister, was last night a big battle? You look so pathetic."
"Shut up!"
"Why should I shut up? I heard you at night when I came out. Around two in the morning. Brother-in-law is so amazing." Wen Jing gave a thumbs-up. Wen Nuan’s face turned red, and she reached out to hit her. Wen Nuan’s mother came over, laughing. "Xiao Jing, you’re so rude. How can you talk about things like that?"
"Why can’t I? Last time, there was a video on the subway of a couple of middle school students openly..."
"Shut up! What kind of stuff are you talking about? You’re corrupting a minor." Wen Nuan said, yawning again. She reached for the newspaper, and that’s when she became fully awake.
A huge headline read:
Second Young Master Ye and a Mysterious Woman’s Midnight Romance.
Damn it, what a lame headline.
They even had to add the word "romance."
It was a perfect example of a melodramatic headline from the Green Light Daily.
It was so cliché.
Last night, Ye Feimo had said her headline wasn’t dramatic enough. It turned out there was an even more dramatic one.
