Wide barren fields lay on both sides, offering a broad view, which meant the helicopter overhead had no trouble aiming.

Lu Chen tossed an Ice Shield towards Zhao Changsheng that blocked some bullets for her and Li Qian. He then tore open a rift and appeared next to Su Mo, grabbed her hand, and they both disappeared through the rift, out of sight from the three remaining helicopters.

"These people, they just don’t stop," fire almost burst from Su Mo’s eyes as she pulled out a pumpkin and shared it with Lu Chen, the two exchanging glances.

"Let’s finish them!" Su Mo said seriously.

She was completely infuriated by these relentless people.

When they reappeared in sight of those people, Jianxiong, to protect Li He, shoved him into a metal car, then came back himself to shield Li He from many of the bullets with his body.

Su Mo tilted her head back, her voice carrying a hint of fierceness, "They must have brought a Spiritual Power Shield; otherwise, Li Qian would have detected them from this close distance."

She then pulled out another piece of pumpkin, handed it to Li Qian, "Eat this, and stay away from me."

A barrage of bullets poured out again, heading straight for them. Su Mo narrowed her focus, trying to aim at one gunman’s eyes, but he seemed prepared and swiftly turned his head as the helicopter ascended.

Lu Chen leaped onto the vehicle, his body generating a large amount of ice crystals. He opened a spatial rift in mid-air, and in the next second, the ice crystals pierced through the rift and struck the wing and front glass of one helicopter.

Another helicopter was brought down.

Out of five helicopters, three had now been brought down, but those who came this time were clearly of a different caliber. The people stepping out from the burning wreckage all had strong presences.

Su Mo pulled out a Tang Blade with her left hand, her gaze sternly meeting theirs, "Three Level 6 superpower users, they’ve really gone all out this time."

"Su Mo, a Huaxia test subject, we’ve been well paid to take you back," said the leader, a burly man with deep-set features, his body metallic and holding a metal shield, he launched an attack at her.

Her gaze slightly lifted, locking onto his metallic eyes, she smiled, "Then, I’ll just have to kill all of you."

She wasn’t the cute girl she used to be; her hand, originally in a fist, split and sprouted green vines. Numerous vines emerged, engulfing the large shield, gradually twisting and bending it.

The Gold Element Superpower User concentrated all his power at his throat just in time to block the attack, yet he was still poked hard enough to press down his Adam’s apple.

"Does it hurt?" Su Mo stared coldly at him, striking with the blade once again at the same spot simultaneously, the commanding presence exuding from her made the Level 7 terrifying power crush the man, preventing him from even straightening his back.

Seeing the bad situation, the two helicopters still hovering in the air increased their firepower and started pounding the ground.

Li Qian stood in place, his vigorous spiritual power transformed into threads that wrapped around a gunman inside one of the helicopters. His pupils turned dull and, eventually, he turned and shot the operator at the pilot seat.

Immediately, the helicopter crashed to the ground with a loud explosion.

Lu Chen unleashed the Level 7 Ice Element power, and numerous Cold Ice Barbs rapidly shot up from below the ice, piercing through the bodies of three people without giving them a chance to evade.

The barbs entered through their feet and emerged from their heads, bringing with them a great amount of flesh and blood.

The scene was extremely horrifying and dangerous.

The man’s phoenix eyes were already filled with cold fury; his killing intent was like a wildfire, growing more intense, to kill them all so that Su Mo could be safe—eliminate them all.

Jianxiong beside him lifted an old car and aimed it at a helicopter hanging in mid-air, hurling it with all his might.

The last one, he absolutely couldn’t let anyone escape.

After he threw the car, he stepped onto a pile of discarded vehicles, ran forward a few steps, leaped vigorously, using the thrown car as a stepping stone, and with a powerful jump aided by the boost from the Longjing Tea, he grabbed onto the landing gear of the helicopter that was attempting to ascend.

Jianxiong’s massive body, with its tremendous weight, caused the helicopter to lean and topple downward.

With a black gun barrel pressed against his head, he felt no panic, because in the next second, Su Mo directly targeted those eyes, and a head exploded right in front of Jianxiong.
