"Brother An, look over there!" Yang Chuxia pointed at the side of the cliff wall, "I remember the day when your knife pierced through, didn’t it?"

"That’s right!" Ye Zi’an also noticed something amiss, "There should be a mark there." But at this moment, the place was smooth, without any knife marks.

"Let’s go check the opposite side!"

Yang Chuxia pointed to the other side of the cliff wall, inserting a silver wire into the cliff wall, using the leverage to climb up.

The opposite cliff had been visited by people these past few days; the hanging ropes were still there, so Ye Zi’an followed behind and climbed up as well.

The other side was unexpectedly different from the cliff, which was flat, but this side had undulating hills, unlike the bottom of the cliff. On this side, the hills were surprisingly lush with plants, and small animals were scrambling everywhere.

"Let’s go inside!" Yang Chuxia took a knife and paid attention to the surroundings. But the further she walked, the more puzzled she became; such weather should not have snakes and such creatures.

How come there is such a place around the Capital City?

"Did you hear any sounds?"

"No!" Ye Zi’an shook his head.

Yang Chuxia asked Ye Yi again, and Ye Yi and the others all shook their heads.

"Strange, why do I hear a hissing sound?"

"Madam, this mountain leads to the Luo Family Cemetery at the end."

"Luo Family Cemetery?" Yang Chuxia was stunned, "Are you sure?"

Ye Yi nodded, "I’m sure. Last time, when the young master left, we chased grave robbers here."

Upon hearing this, Yang Chuxia pondered deeply. If going straight forward leads to the Luo Family Cemetery, it means there’s nothing wrong with this mountain; the opposite cliff also has no issues, so could the problem still lie at the bottom of the cliff?

"Let’s return to the bottom of the cliff!"

When they returned to the bottom of the cliff, they found the sky gradually darkening.

"It’s really strange," Yang Chuxia said, "Last time we came down, it was later than now, yet the sky was bright. It’s not even noon now, but it’s getting dark."

"Ye Yi, go prepare some firecrackers," she thought for a moment and then said, "Put the firecrackers inside bamboo and prepare some torches."

"Madam, are you planning to?"

"Quickly go!"

"Yes."

"My dear, have something to eat first." Ye Zi’an brought over a bundle, "You didn’t eat breakfast, and if you don’t eat, you might collapse before Yangyang is found."

"Hmm, I’ll eat!"

Ye Yi galloped furiously on horseback, and by the time he returned, two hours had passed.

"Light all these firecrackers and throw them onto both sides of the cliff walls."

Immediately, the sound of crackling echoed.

But now she realized that’s not the case.
