Chapter 276: Commander, You’ve Changed
CHAPTER 276: CHAPTER 276: COMMANDER, YOU’VE CHANGED
Lin Fu smiled and nodded, not feeling embarrassed, and asked politely, "Have you had breakfast?"
"Already ate."
"Oh!"
"Ah Foo." Fu Xing came out from the neighboring training room, followed by Ji Mian.
Lin Fu turned around and wondered why there were so many people in the house so early in the morning?
"Good morning, Doctor Ji."
Ji Mian clearly didn’t have as high emotional intelligence as Randall, and immediately said, "It’s almost noon."
No sooner had he spoken than he noticed the Commander and Guard Captain Randall giving him a warning look, telling him to be careful with his words, or else he might find himself beaten to death on the street one day without knowing why.
Poor Ji Mian, just a scientist, couldn’t even compare to one of Randall’s fingers in terms of physical ability. Under the circumstances of not understanding what he did wrong, he had to bow to authority.
Fortunately, Lin Fu wasn’t one to make a big fuss, having been fond of sleeping in her previous life and not afraid of being laughed at.
"I won’t talk with you guys anymore, I have to go to school now."
"Wait."
Fu Xing grabbed Lin Fu’s wrist and pulled her back.
"What for?"
Lin Fu was a bit afraid to look into Fu Xing’s eyes, afraid she would blush and lose face in front of his subordinates.
Fu Xing’s eyes held a smile, seeing that Lin Fu was shy, his lips curving up with pleasure.
"Ji Mian is here with the equipment, have a body check-up before you go back to school. I’ve arranged for a flying car to take you, it’ll be quick."
"Do I really have to check?" Lin Fu asked with a puzzled face, "My body’s fine now, no need for a check-up."
"Be good."
"But being late will have serious consequences." Although Lin Fu loved to sleep in, she didn’t like being late.
"It will be quick," Fu Xing reassured patiently.
"Alright then!"
Lin Fu reluctantly followed Ji Mian for the check-up, not noticing Randall’s worldview almost shattering in shock.
"What are you looking at?" Fu Xing asked his subordinate with annoyance.
"Heh heh heh..." Randall touched his head and chuckled, "Commander, you’ve changed."
"If I’ve changed, don’t you think I’d know? No need for you to point it out."
Fu Xing glanced at Randall, his mood becoming somber as his handsome eyebrows furrowed slightly.
Randall noticed and took the initiative to say, "Commander, are you worried about the Lady?"
"Yes!"
Fu Xing nodded crisply, then thought about someone daring to ambush his woman when he wasn’t around, and instantly felt a burst of anger.
He slammed the table forcefully, "Come up with a plan. I want Theresa to pay a price. We can’t just let this go, or some people will think my Ah Foo is easy to bully."
Randall’s mouth twitched, but he immediately slipped into the role of the cunning adviser, suggesting, "Theresa is a Princess, with a powerful minister supporting her, among them not lacking someone as outstanding as Murphy. We should have killed Murphy on the way back, threw him into space, and then no one would find a trace."
Randall thought they could actually do it.
"You make sense."
If Bernard and his group heard this sentence from Fu Xing, they would definitely be shocked. Many people didn’t understand how Major General Fu Xing, a gentleman without a single blemish, could keep a twisted lunatic like Randall around as the Guard Captain.
In fact, the two were very similar deep down.
Only one of them was more devious and better at hiding it.
"Murphy is not an easy opponent to deal with. He is now wholeheartedly supporting Theresa. Prince Hughes, too, is not as brainless as Theresa, to be so easily used."
