CHAPTER 322: CHAPTER 322: AH FOO, DO YOU LIKE IT?
"Hmm?" Fu Xing was startled, then realized what Lin Fu was thinking about and couldn’t help but suppress a chuckle.
Tenderly, he caressed Lin Fu’s hair.
"Ah Foo, do you know? I just love your wild imagination."
So she had misunderstood.
Lin Fu’s face turned beet red, and before she could finish her sentence, Fu Xing lifted her into his arms and flew down onto the balcony.
He walked into the balcony, and the floor-to-ceiling window closed with a "click!" activating the curtain effect.
Fu Xing laid Lin Fu on the bed, his tall and lean body following close behind, pressing down.
He gazed into Lin Fu’s eyes, his look intense, "I am so grateful that you belong to me."
Without saying it out loud, Lin Fu felt as though her clothes had been stripped off by his piercing gaze.
My goodness! This guy, how can he also have such... such a heart-stirring side?
Was this the same cool and collected Fu Xing she knew, the one who came home to dinner and made his younger siblings line up to salute him, all trembling?
Then, without giving her the chance to daydream, Lin Fu’s mind went blank, not even aware when her clothes were removed.
By the time she realized what had happened, it was already too late.
This man was nothing like his usual self.
Fu Xing commanded dominantly, "Focus."
"No more, you jerk."
"That won’t do," he said in a husky voice.
"Ah Foo, Ah Foo..." He called the name of his beloved woman over and over, never growing tired of it.
Fu Xing was too aloof; although he wasn’t harsh with people and rarely made things difficult for others, he always gave off an unapproachable vibe, void of warmth and liveliness.
Others couldn’t help but stiffen up around him, fearing even the slightest fault.
Fu Xing even kept his emotions restrained.
But at this moment, Lin Fu finally pulled him down from his pedestal, his emotions plainly visible to her.
"Do you like it?" he asked, nibbling at her earlobe, his voice rough and speaking words blush-inducing.
His voice was so seductive it sent shivers down her spine.
"I like it."
Lin Fu’s voice was as faint as a mosquito’s, too ashamed to speak louder.
"Heh!" The man chuckled lowly in that alluring voice.
"Don’t laugh." Lin Fu, annoyed, scratched at him, but Fu Xing easily caught her hand and held it in his palm.
"What was your first impression of me?" Lin Fu asked, curious.
Fu Xing pondered for a moment.
"Come on, tell me, don’t brush me off."
"Then let me think."
"Is it that hard?" Lin Fu grew even more curious.
"Careful and cautious, looking at everything with skepticism, yet also bold to the extreme," Fu Xing thought back to his first impression of Ah Foo, his dark green eyes softening with warmth.
"How am I bold? You’re talking nonsense."
"How are you not bold?" Fu Xing faced her, their heads so close their foreheads touched, "You should know no woman has ever dared to look at me with such uninhibited eyes, nor has any dared to take advantage of me so blatantly."
"Ah Foo, you really are bold. You have no idea how shocked the butler was."
He was the respected and revered Imperial Major General, the Duke of the Empire whose legacy spanned thousands of years. Whether it was any of those roles, anyone interacting with him maintained etiquette, terrified of making a mistake.
Only Lin Fu was an exception.
Lin Fu felt guilty but had a thick skin, "Is it wrong for me to like you, to want to be close to you?"
"There is nothing wrong with that, because I like you too."
Ah Foo’s boldness startled him and piqued his curiosity endlessly, that unfamiliar emotion was indefinable to Fu Xing, but the first time he felt it, it stayed etched in his heart forever.
...
At this moment, outside Meng Keqin’s room, stood a tall man.
"Who is it?"
Meng Keqin, with red eyes, opened the door and felt a bad premonition the moment she saw Randall.
