CHAPTER 467: CHAPTER 467: FIGHT EVERY TIME WE MEET
"You?" Xu Jinglan raised an eyebrow.
"Right, you heard us," the man had an incredibly thick skin and showed no hint of embarrassment, "All of us together still can’t beat just you, so we might as well jump in. There’s no need for decency against someone like you."
"Yeah, let’s gang up."
Ye Fei stood outside the door, his mouth twitching as he thought to himself, "Why does Xia Youyou always like to hang out with these types of people? Doesn’t she realize that she’ll always be looked down upon this way?"
By now, the other dorm residents had heard the commotion and rushed over.
"What’s going on?"
"What happened?"
"I just heard a scream, sounded absolutely dreadful."
Ye Fei stepped aside to make way and said nonchalantly, "Xia Youyou and Tang Xuefei brought a bunch of people over to have a party in the dorm while Xu Jinglan was out, celebrating the fact that Lin Fu died on Helheim Star and couldn’t make it back."
"What?"
Upon hearing this, everyone was outraged; this was like a stab to the heart for everyone associated with Elbert. Enraged, they rolled up their sleeves, ready to start a fight. Just as they were about to confront the inside group, who were also yelling to pile on, the two sides unexpectedly clashed, and a massive, tumultuous brawl ensued, leaving the dormitory in shambles.
Tang Xuefei, at the forefront, got the worst of it, pinned to the ground and thoroughly roughed up.
Behind her, Xia Youyou and He Shu didn’t escape punishment either.
More and more people crowded in, with over a hundred people squeezing into the living room like sardines packed in a tin.
Ye Fei was relieved he hadn’t gone inside.
The school guard team, upon hearing the news, rushed over immediately, led by Lance. It wasn’t until Lance appeared that the brawlers stopped throwing punches everywhere. The entire villa, from the living room to the courtyard, was a disaster zone as if hit by a typhoon.
Lance, holding his head in anguish, rubbed his temples, regretting for the umpteenth time that he had taken on this part-time job.
The aggressors looked guiltily at Lance, dare not speak,
while the victims were barely recognizable, with missing limbs and bruised faces considered minor injuries compared to those who were unconscious. Lance had to arrange for emergency aid and hospital transport, fearing that any delay might result in deaths on site.
He didn’t even recognize Tang Xuefei and Xia Youyou.
They had been beaten beyond recognition, not even their own mothers could identify them.
Once the medical emergencies were managed, Lance began to ask about the cause of the incident. The audience, heads bowed in guilt, began to explain what happened in a disjointed chatter, which only made Lance’s frown deepen and his face turn uglier than before.
Everyone grew even more nervous.
"Lance, Senior, could you please show some leniency?" Ye Fei stepped in to plead, "It was just a moment of anger for everyone."
Lance glanced at her coldly and turned to leave. As he reached the doorway, he looked back and said, "From now on, if you see those people, beat them every time you encounter them. You’re guaranteed not to get caught, just make sure you don’t kill anybody."
It was like a death wish.
"Wow! That’s great."
Everyone was overjoyed, never expecting the ruthless Lance to show a humanitarian side.
After the crowd dispersed, Xu Jinglan stood on the steps, watching the housekeeper robot painstakingly do its work, her expression still troubled.
"What’s wrong?" Ye Fei asked worriedly, "Still thinking about Lin Fu? You really don’t need to worry so much or blame yourself. She will definitely be okay. Song Zheng, the Dean, has already said that she’s the Duchess of Imoles. Even Prince Clive wouldn’t dare touch her lightly."
Ye Fei came from a minor noble family, and though she couldn’t compare to legendary families like the Guardian Duke’s, the more unreachable something was, the more curious and admiring she became. She had heard many legendary tales of ancient families since childhood, including those about the Fu Family.
The legends were veiled, but the gist was that each of the Seven Guardian Families had their own characteristics, and among them, the Fu Family was the one you could least afford to offend.
