CHAPTER 157: 157 - THAT’S THE BASTARD I WAS TALKING ABOUT!

As she boarded the flying ship with her mistress, Qingyi’s eyes quickly caught sight of a tanned beauty sitting on a bench in a corner of the ship.

"Husband!" Feiyan waved to him, her bountiful breasts almost jutting out of her cleavage as she stood up excitedly.

Walking over to Qingyi, she immediately pulled him against her, sinking his arm into the warm, soft embrace of her huge twin mountains.

"Do you have any idea how much I’ve missed you? You’ll have to repay me handsomely for that..." She purred in his ear, her sweet, sensual, breathy voice causing the handsome young man to shiver.

Qingxue, who was standing next to them, shuddered softly.

Her face flushed as she made her way towards the front of the flying ship.

As an elder, she naturally had her own room, unlike the disciples who had to sit on uncomfortable benches during the journey.

"Have you made any breakthroughs?" Qingyi asked, sensing that Feiyan’s aura was much deeper than before.

She was at least at the third stage of the Golden Core realm.

"Two, actually." Feiyan flashed a broad smile as she sat down with him on one of the seats in the flying ship.

"Not that it’s much compared to you, I still have to work hard to be useful to the husband." She whispered, barely able to sense Qingyi’s Qi.

Qingyi had to stop himself from lifting up Feiyan’s fat, juicy ass and spanking her in front of everyone there.

Was that woman having self-esteem problems now?

"I wouldn’t be able to advance this far if it weren’t for you spoiling me with your pills. It’s me who doesn’t deserve such a dutiful wife." He smiled as he brought his face close to hers.

"Fufufu~~ husband’s pretty good with words today, huh?" Feiyan snuggled into Qingyi’s arms, her full, red lips curving subtly.

It wasn’t long before the sect’s flying ship set sail.

The two of them stood by a window, watching the sect drift away as they disappeared among the soft, white clouds.

"Husband... do you promise you’ll try not to take too many risks during the competition?" She asked, her voice low and slightly shaky.

"I... I’ll try, I promise." He said, looking away slightly.

"You’re a terrible liar..."

Qingyi couldn’t help but smile bitterly.

In a way, he really was a terrible liar.

They just enjoyed each other’s warmth as the journey went on.

That part of the ship was crowded with core disciples and, every now and then, they received one envious glance or another, but they simply ignored it.

"Junior Brother Qingyi, are you excited for the Scarlet Dragon Competition?" Juechen’s voice echoed.

Waving gently to Feiyan, he sat down on the other side.

"A little," Qingyi replied. "Senior Brother Juechen has already taken part, right?"

"Yes, I took part three years ago. It was a hell of a year, we had a lot of talent from all the sects. Luckily, I went with the elder from the war hall, so I didn’t have so many problems." Juechen laughed.

As the sect leader’s cultivation realm was too high to enter the Scarlet Dragon Secret Realm, it was only natural that his disciple would be forced to go with someone else if he wanted to take part.

Unlike other types of competitions between sects, the scarlet dragon competition was much more closed.

Generally, only two disciples and elders from each sect took part each year, with the choice being completely random.

This year, it would be the turn of elder Qingxue and the sect’s internal affairs elder, which forced the silver-haired beauty to start her search for direct disciples.

For the rest of the trip, they talked about various topics, mainly focusing on the competition, how it worked and what Qingyi needed to know in order to gain as much as possible.

The handsome young man couldn’t deny that the help Juechen had given her had been very welcome, greatly broadening her view of the competition.

After another seven days of travel, they finally arrived at their destination.

With only ten thousand inhabitants, the Scarlet Dragon City was relatively small by the standards of the Blue Moon Continent, but even so, no one dared to look down on it.

That city was in the center of the continent’s outer region, one of the areas with the highest density of Qi and one of the few places where even beasts of the Burning Blood Realm roamed freely.

The city was protected by five Burning Blood Realm experts who guarded the Scarlet Dragon Secret Realm, with even the weakest inhabitants being in the foundation realm.

The Ascending Dragon Sect’s ship quickly caught the attention of the locals as it docked alongside two other flying ships in the city’s central courtyard.

One of them carried the symbol of the Burning Heart Sect while the other, the symbol of the Serene Cloud Sect.

"I wish you good luck, Junior Brother Qingyi." Juechen smiled, slapping him on the shoulder as he left.

"We’re there, wake up." Qingyi shook Feiyan, who was sleeping peacefully in his embrace.

"Uhn... already?" With a sleepy grunt, she got up and, together with the rest of the sect’s entourage, went outside.

Qingyi’s eyes swept the crowd watching them, soon focusing on two men approaching on the horizon.

The first was a bald man, his body sunburnt and covered in scars.

He was the leader of the Burning Heart Sect.

The other, a man with long black hair and beard, neatly combed and elegantly tied.

This was the leader of the Serene Cloud Sect and the father of the arrogant young master whom Qingyi had almost killed during the tempest secret realm on the Heavenly Thunder Kingdom.

Jinhai took the lead of the ascending dragon sect’s entourage, his robes swaying in the wind as he smiled at the other two sect leaders.

He opened his mouth to greet them, but before he could even speak, he was interrupted by a loud, irritating voice.

"Daddy, That’s the bastard I was talking about! he tried to murder me and stole the treasure from me!" A figure appeared next to the leader of the Serene Cloud Sect.

That was young master Shen, his mouth still missing a few teeth and his face still bearing subtle marks from Qingyi’s fists.
