The Crazed Little Darling: Pampered by the Possesive Commander!
Chapter 22: Keep Her Safe
CHAPTER 22: CHAPTER 22: KEEP HER SAFE
No matter how the Star Network discussed it, neither Lu Shinian nor Su Ruan paid it any attention.
In the blink of an eye, the day for orientation at the Second Military University had arrived.
Su Ruan woke up early to pack and prepare for her trip to the university.
Lu Shinian could see all of her excitement, and a rare touch of tenderness crossed his eyes.
"Ruan Ruan is so excited?"
"Mm-hmm!" Su Ruan nodded emphatically, a faint blush coloring her delicate face, "I’ve heard university is quite interesting."
Lu Shinian held Su Ruan’s hand and got into the hover car, chuckling quietly, "It is quite interesting."
He gazed downwards, his long eyelashes casting a shadow and concealing the light in his eyes.
"Does Ruan Ruan have any idea which military service she wants to join after graduation?"
Su Ruan: ...
There’s no need to reserve her so early.
"I want to take a look first." She said softly, "After all, university lasts four years, I can take my time to explore."
"Mm." Lu Shinian responded lightly, though he had already made up his mind.
His Ruan Ruan, where else could she go but to his Third Army?
He certainly wouldn’t let her leave him.
"By the way, are you supposed to give the new student speech today?" Su Ruan asked.
Lu Shinian raised his eyes, a gleam passing through them, "How did Ruan Ruan know?"
Ruan Ruan is concerned about him, isn’t she?
"It’s written in the new student orientation guide."
It’s even highlighted and bolded, showing just how excited the principal of the Second Military University was to have Lu Shinian give the new student speech.
"Oh." Lu Shinian’s expression was indifferent, though he was somewhat annoyed with the meddlesome principal.
As they spoke, the hover car stopped not far from the Second Military University.
Su Ruan got off the car first, "I’ll go register first, see you later."
After saying that, she waved to Lu Shinian and quickly slipped away.
Lu Shinian watched her back, his eyes glimmering slightly, and he murmured, "Keep her safe."
The air faintly shimmered, as if a figure passed by, but upon closer inspection, it seemed to be an illusion.

Following the directions, Su Ruan quickly found the new student reception at the Logistics Department.
In front of the slightly worn-out entrance was a sign that read "Logistics Department New Student Reception," covered with scratches after braving the elements, matching the dilapidated door.
Standing before the entrance, Su Ruan tentatively asked, "Hello, is anyone there?"
A sound of something falling to the ground came from inside, followed by a groan, then hurried footsteps.
In just a few seconds, a young man wearing a dusty gray short-sleeved shirt with a face marked by grime emerged.
"Hello, hello, you’re the new student Su Ruan, right?"
"Haha, I’m Zhou Ning, you can call me Senior Brother Zhou."
Su Ruan nodded, "Senior Brother Zhou."
"Mm-hmm." Zhou Ning replied, "Here, add my Light Brain number, I’ll send you the class schedule."
They quickly exchanged Light Brain numbers, and Zhou Ning promptly sent her the class schedule, then said, "Alright, just attend the classes on time, everything else is fine."
"You can go now."
After saying this, he pulled the sign from the entrance and placed it behind the door, giving Su Ruan a cheeky grin.
"Then Su Ruan, I’ll get back to work."
Su Ruan: ...
"Wait." Su Ruan pointed at the sign behind the door, "You better put that back up, otherwise other new students that arrive won’t find the place."
