CHAPTER 350. FEAR AND RAGE II

Dragon King's Harem Chapter 350. Fear And Rage II

I approached the rampaging dragons with determined steps.

Their attention was immediately drawn to me, their primal instincts reacting to my presence.

Despite their gaze fixated on me, their expressions remained contorted with fear and anger, their snarls and struggles unabated.

I realized that they did not seem to recognize me.

My Telekinetic skill was successful. It created a calming influence over the dragons. Yet, despite my efforts, I could sense their struggle as they fought against my telekinetic hold with all their might.

Their desperation was palpable, their minds consumed by a primal instinct. It was clear that they had lost touch with their usual sense of awareness and rationality.

With a determined flair, I unfurled my dragon wings. My eyes gleamed with an intense hue.

"YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE ME?!" I bellowed, my voice echoing with authority and urgency.

Dragons, unlike humans, were governed by their innate instincts and primal nature, making it difficult to pacify them with mere words, especially when they were consumed by rage and anger. I understood the task that lay ahead.

The dragons' reactions were palpable. Their once frenzied movements began to falter, their wide eyes betraying a flicker of recognition.

Gradually, realization dawned upon them.

In that moment, their eyes widened with a mix of astonishment and acknowledgement, their fierce softened by the realization of who stood before them.

"The King... It's the king..." The words escaped one of the dragons in a weak, raspy voice, still carrying the resonance of a roar.

"Your Majesty... I'm glad you're here," another dragon wheezed, his voice barely audible amid the labored rhythm of his heavy breaths. A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, a fleeting expression of relief before his eyelids fluttered closed.

Initially, I mistook his stillness for unconsciousness, but realization dawned upon me. His chest rose and fell no more.

The status above his head remained unchanged—yet, it flickered ominously, shifting to a desaturated gray hue.

[Sudden Death]

[Time Remaining: 04:49]

“Oh no,” I muttered, my heart sinking.

I folded my wings and released my Telekinetic grip. The dragon's body could not withstand the sudden shift.

It crumpled to the ground, a heavy thud echoing through the tent.

Evelina wasted no time, rushing to the dragon's side. She raised her staff, the crystal atop it emanating a soft glow as she channeled her healing magic. I hurried to join her.

But despite Evelina's efforts, the dragon's vitality remained unchanged.

My brows furrowed in confusion and concern.

Did I hurt him?

“Is it because I used my power too much?” I ventured.

Evelina shook her head.

“No, he was already weak from the start,” she replied. “It seems he calmed down as soon as he saw you and decided to end his battle.”

“You mean he decided to give up on his life?” I repeated.

“Yes,” Evelina confirmed.

However, her efforts yielded no improvement, the dragon's condition remaining unchanged despite her best efforts. Frustration flickered across her features, but she refused to yield.

“He was dying from the start,” she continued. “His wounds were grave, beyond what most could endure. The fact that he even made it here alive was nothing short of miraculous. It seems he clung to life with every ounce of strength he had. But when he saw you, Your Majesty, it was as if he finally found peace.”
