CHAPTER 52: CHAPTER 52: FORGOTTEN ALONE AT HOME!

The mother and aunts were busy discussing the matter of finding a wife for the eldest male cousin, while the male cousins were eating lunch in a dejected mood, and the grandmother and grandfather were calculating the accounts, planning when to build a new house.

Nowadays, it’s clear that this courtyard doesn’t have enough rooms.

If the eldest male cousin were to settle on a marriage, there wouldn’t even be a new room for the wedding.

"Mom, mom!"

Yuan Bao opened her mouth and began calling for her mother.

Yuan Bao stepped onto the stool at the edge of the bed and climbed down to the floor.

Out of the room, Yuan Bao loudly called for "Mom," but alas, still no response.

She was the treasure of the Yuan Family!

Standing behind the courtyard gate, Yuan Bao turned around and headed straight to the main house.

She pushed open the door, entered the room, and first carefully examined the furnishings inside. Finding everything in order, she sighed with relief.

At least, the matter the family was dealing with wasn’t a danger that required everyone to flee.

If danger were approaching, the house couldn’t remain so orderly.

"Then just wait!"

Yuan Bao returned to her room, climbed back onto the bed, and burrowed into the still warm little quilt.

This was in the middle of winter!

The family didn’t know when they’d be back, so she had to first ensure her warmth.

Of course, if it got dark and no one returned, she’d have to light a fire to warm the bed herself.

Yuan Bao nestled in the quilt, waiting not so peacefully.
