Carson Flores chuckled softly: "I haven’t restrained you; you are free... If I dared to bind you, and you came to sever that bond, what would I do?"

Selah Ellison Venerable One had removed the threat of the insects from her body, killed the Valley Master, and destroyed the entire Green Cloudy Valley, feeling quite pleased.

"You are my man, I wouldn’t bear to do that."

Selah Ellison Venerable One smiled sweetly: "Let’s go, let’s return and take a look."

Selah Ellison Venerable One propped herself up from Carson Flores’ embrace, looked at his face, blankly staring for a few seconds, then suddenly grabbed his hand.

"Come with me!"

The two crossed a valley, stopping beneath an unremarkable tree, where there was an inconspicuous small mound.

Selah Ellison Venerable One gently knelt in front of the small mound, gazing with warmth.

"Claire, I’m back!"

"I fulfilled our promise, I escaped!"
