After Liu Hun took Yao Yu into the car, they drove for over an hour before arriving at a mountain near the Provincial City. The mountain wasn’t very high, but standing at the top, one could clearly see the entire city’s night view.

“Because I know this is Xiaoyu’s favorite thing, so naturally these fireflies also like Xiaoyu. Even in winter, they come out,” Liu Hun explained with a smile.

Although Yao Yu didn’t believe Liu Hun’s explanation, she said nothing because this was a surprise Liu Hun had prepared for her, and it was enough. Nothing else mattered to her.

While the two were cherishing this rare moment, Liu Hun’s expression suddenly changed. Moments later, a cold glint appeared in his eyes.

“Xiaoyu, there’s a path down from here. Turn right for about 700 meters, and you’ll find the car. We might not be able to continue watching tonight, so…” Liu Hun’s eyes flashed with a murderous intent, then a hint of apology crept into his face as he spoke to Yao Yu beside him.

“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…” Liu Hun stood on a smooth rock, looking calmly at the small grove. Before long, the sound of something cutting through the air emerged from the grove.

“Crack!” A crisp sound rang out as an arrow shot directly into the rock below Liu Hun’s feet. He narrowed his eyes slightly at the embedded arrow.

“It’s made of special steel, and it’s American-made!” Liu Hun pulled the arrow from the rock, scrutinizing the cold glint of its tip with increased intensity in his eyes.

Under the weak moonlight, the person in front of him looked utterly disheveled, even their clothes were worn out, and their hair resembled a bird’s nest, looking even more destitute than some beggars on the street.
