The Fortunate Demoniac Little Village Doctor
Chapter 1248 - 850: Director
CHAPTER 1248: CHAPTER 850: DIRECTOR
Liu Hun did not turn the plane into an accident as Zhang Zhiwen had suggested, so the plane safely landed at Beijing Airport. However, as soon as the plane arrived at the airport, countless police officers were waiting outside, seemingly expecting them.
Liu Hun had only informed Zhang Zhiwen about this matter, so it was clear that these police officers could not have been sent by their superiors. After all, if they were, they would have a hard time dealing with this if something happened to the plane.
"Hello, I am the director of the Beijing Police Department. I hope you can cooperate with us. We have received orders from above, saying someone on this plane is carrying a biochemical virus," said a middle-aged policeman who walked towards Liu Hun with a few masked officers as they stepped out of the plane.
Upon hearing this, Liu Hun did not think much and directly took out his credentials from his pocket and handed them to the officer. He then instructed, "The biochemical virus you’ve mentioned is temporarily under our control. How it was controlled is not something you should inquire about. As for what happened inside, just report it truthfully, and we have no issues; do you have any other questions?"
"No... no more questions..." The middle-aged policeman, looking at the credentials in his hand, was momentarily stunned, then took a deep breath and respectfully answered Liu Hun.
Dragon Sect is responsible for handling these special cases within the country. Since someone from Dragon Sect is personally handling this matter on the plane, the director of a small police department has no choice but to follow Liu Hun’s instructions.
"If there are no further issues, expedite the handling of the situation. I hope you can briefly inform the journalists outside. Just tell them the result; regarding our matters, pretend you don’t know anything about it. Do you understand?" Liu Hun said, patting the police director’s shoulder with a composed smile.
"Yes..." Han Cheng was somewhat unclear why Liu Hun gave such instructions, but since Liu Hun was from Dragon Sect, as a policeman, he should comply with Liu Hun’s tasks.
Even though the orders from above differed from what Liu Hun said, with Liu Hun present, Han Cheng assumed Liu Hun was sent to handle this, so he didn’t think much of it.
"Di... Director... in... inside..." Just as Han Cheng agreed with Liu Hun, a junior officer approached him, pale, speaking intermittently.
"What’s going on?" Han Cheng, seeing his subordinate’s panic, frowned slightly and scolded angrily.
Liu Hun was also present, considered a superior officer; if Liu Hun thought his team was incompetent because of this, he might be in trouble if Liu Hun made a remark to their superiors.
"Director... you’d... better check it personally," said the junior officer, looking terrified.
Upon hearing this, Han Cheng glared at the junior officer, then showed an apologetic expression to Liu Hun and proceeded toward the plane.
Watching Han Cheng board the plane, Lao Gui worriedly asked Liu Hun, "Boss, isn’t it bad for us to cause such a commotion as soon as we arrive in Beijing?"
"Not just bad, but very bad!" Liu Hun confirmed.
"Then..." Hearing Liu Hun’s words, Lao Gui, Wang Xiaofei, and Liu Hu exchanged glances filled with confusion, not comprehending Liu Hun’s intentions.
"Since we’re here, I want everyone to know that Liu Hun has arrived in Beijing. Some things are better kept low-profile, but being too low-key can make others think we are pushovers. Besides, this is a case of them shooting themselves in the foot. If we don’t make good use of it, wouldn’t it be unfair to those innocent dead?" Liu Hun’s eyes flashed with coldness.
While Liu Hun outwardly remained expressionless about these people’s lives and deaths, internally, he was somewhat angry.
"But it seems that Zhang Zhiwen from the Security Bureau doesn’t intend to handle this," Liu Hu remarked.
At this, Liu Hun smirked, casting a side glance at the somewhat pale Zhang Han, and softly said, "Zhang Zhiwen knows if he comes, the mess will fall on him. But either way, once the plane safely lands, he has no choice."
Liu Hun didn’t mind Zhang Han overhearing this — it wasn’t a secret. Zhang Zhiwen hadn’t told Zhang Han before simply to protect her, but it seems she got involved anyway.
"Why are you doing this to my dad?" Zhang Han suddenly bit her lip, staring at Liu Hun and questioning.
"Why doing this to your dad? Miss Zhang, you misunderstood; it’s not us treating your dad this way, but those above him deciding it. I’m merely offering him a wise choice. If he remains neutral, he’ll end up like Tiger Sect," Liu Hun calmly replied.
"Tiger Sect? What happened to Tiger Sect?" Zhang Han’s eyes showed urgency upon hearing the name.
"Surprised you know about Tiger Sect? Since that’s the case, let me tell you; do you know who this is?" Liu Hun pointed at Liu Hu. "He’s the head of Tiger Sect. Without me, he would’ve been a beggar pursued everywhere, his life in danger."
"Liu Hun, can’t you spare me some dignity? Although Tiger Sect’s decline was due to my decisions, I was helpless. We’re unlike Long Bing’er with a powerful grandfather as a shield. Since Tiger Sect’s inception, we lacked any background; you can’t blame me," Liu Hu complained about Liu Hun showing no mercy.
"What about the other Tiger Sect members?" Zhang Han became anxious.
Seeing Zhang Han, intuition told Liu Hun something was wrong. After exchanging a glance with Liu Hu, Liu Hu took a deep breath, explaining to Zhang Han, "Most of Tiger Sect are dead or detained in special prisons. My return to Beijing is primarily for those members; I don’t want them imprisoned forever."
With Liu Hu’s words, Zhang Han turned pale, her eyes vacant. After some time, she solemnly asked Liu Hun, "What happened? Why did Tiger Sect end up like this, and what situation is my dad in?"
Just as Zhang Han finished, Han Cheng, who boarded earlier, descended, pale and shocked, seemingly unable to recover from the experience.
"Are you okay?" Liu Hun glanced at Han Cheng, calmly asking.
"How can this be? Everyone, without exception, is dead..." Han Cheng, hearing Liu Hun, snapped back, but with vacant eyes, murmured.
Being a seasoned officer who’d seen many deaths, Han Cheng had never witnessed so many dead at once. With the military personnel thrown off the plane earlier, only passengers remained on board.
The passengers appeared calm, all dead on the plane, which was big news domestically and internationally.
