CHAPTER 117: CHAPTER 82: STARTING TO CHANGE THE PLOT_2
"Calm down." Andrew hurriedly said from the side, and the centaurs didn’t use their weapons to stop him.
Even the Chieftain merely reached out to divert the spear’s tip.
"Is that dark creature in there your family?"
Kana suddenly blurted out.
No one present expected this, including Andrew, the Chieftain, and those centaurs, all staring at Kana with an expression of shock.
As if saying: How dare you?
But the words were apt, as saying it like that wouldn’t make anyone feel anything was strange.
"My sister is not — a dark — creature!"
A roar like that of a lion.
Flames, or rather fiery shadows, arose from Raelia’s body.
Everyone could clearly feel the frenzy of anger radiating from her.
"Calm do..." Andrew yelled, trying to stop it.
The angry Raelia didn’t care at all and thrust her long spear at Kana.
Blake and others instantly drew their weapons, ready to rush up, but were stopped by Alyris.
"You..." Blake was somewhat surprised.
Alyris just shook her head towards them.
She knew Kana, and Kana wouldn’t say such inexplicable words at this time.
Kana’s series of actions indicated he knew some things within the Centaur Tribe, so many of his actions were intentional.
If some words were obviously strange, it was clearly Kana saying them on purpose.
She had already realized that Kana was trying to provoke the centaur girl, though Alyris didn’t know why.
But if Kana did it, he must have a reason.
Alyris wouldn’t let Blake and them ruin Kana’s plan.
With Alyris stopping them, Blake and the others had no choice but to put away their weapons.
And that fierce thrust attack was easily dodged by Kana. After dodging, he suddenly raised his left hand and grabbed the spear shaft.
Gripped the shaft firmly.
Raelia angrily tried to pull it, but found her spear shaft felt embedded in a rock, not moving an inch.
Seeing Kana unharmed, Andrew finally exhaled a breath of relief.
But what followed was greater astonishment.
He didn’t expect Kana to be so remarkable; that attack would have been unavoidable in his eyes, but Kana not only dodged it, he forcefully controlled Raelia’s weapon.
It must be known that Raelia was the tribe’s most powerful warrior, only slightly weaker than the Chieftain, yet still a young girl.
She was still young, and in the future, she would surely become the tribe’s female Chieftain.
Even if she disliked the tribe.
Seeing Kana dodge and suppress Raelia, the surprise flickered in the Chieftain’s eyes, and his initially tense body slightly relaxed.
"Anger doesn’t solve problems." Kana suddenly reprimanded.
Raelia, already angry enough, became even more furious because of this sentence.
With a fierce tug, unbeknownst to her, Kana suddenly let go. Raelia staggered back several steps, having exerted herself into empty air.
Luckily, she was a centaur, and her four hooves immediately steadied her.
"Truly impressive," the Chieftain couldn’t help but exclaim.
Kana was stronger than he thought; such a young person completely suppressed Raelia and seemed skillful in doing so.
In this peculiar situation, none of the surrounding people intervened.
Furious, Raelia wildly attacked Kana.
Yet Kana didn’t even draw his sword, just evading around.
"Is stabbing all you know?" Kana asked, with a slightly odd tone.
"You two-legged dwarf," the enraged Raelia roared, attacking even more swiftly.
Kana suddenly dodged, then his right fist fiercely struck down on the spear shaft.
This clever attack caused the whole spear shaft to wobble uncontrollably, while his left hand firmly jabbed down.
The long spear slipped right out of Raelia’s hand.
A grab and a pull.
The weapon became Kana’s.
"You..."
"Sister, what’s happening outside?"
A soft, weak voice came from the tent, clearly conveying fragility.
The spear’s tip was also pressed against Raelia’s throat.
Without waiting for Raelia to react, Kana withdrew the spear and tossed it back.
"Nice fight," Kana said with a smile.
Raelia only felt insulted, but she deeply realized the gap between herself and Kana.
She could only stand there impotently in rage.
At this moment, the soft voice from the tent came again: "Sister?"
This voice immediately quieted Raelia, her anger’s flames subsiding, and her entire demeanor inexplicably calmed down.
No longer was there a voice, let alone the wildness from when she was roaring.
Taking a deep breath to calm her emotions, she replied, "It’s nothing, Abis. It’s that idiot Chieftain who came. He even brought strangers new to the tribe."
The Chieftain, unjustly scolded, was somewhat helpless.
"Sister, you shouldn’t speak of the Chieftain this way," the soft voice continued, "Sorry, Chieftain, my sister she..."
"It’s nothing, Abis, I’m already used to it."
The Chieftain’s voice was gentle and helpless.
After speaking, he turned slightly, lowered his voice towards Kana and Anita and said, "Abis, her sister.
I believe you can hear it, she’s very weak. If the darkness you perceived is correct, it should be her."
