The large-scale event in the maze region was something to look forward to, especially considering how difficult it had become to level up at this point.

Even if one spent an entire day hunting in the maze, levels hardly changed, and quests were incredibly boring.

It was the perfect recipe for what players often referred to as a "Maze Fatigue" period.

Eternal World was facing a sort of "mid-game burnout" for many players, as leveling up became slower and slower, and the structure of the maze areas was inherently easy to tire of.

Without any exciting events, this could easily become one of the most boring stretches in the game.

So when this event was announced, it was like a breath of fresh air—a long-awaited rain in the midst of a drought.

It was welcomed with open arms by the players in the maze regions.

At this stage, players were starting to be considered intermediate-level, so anything exciting was bound to be welcomed.
