CHAPTER 385: 385

"DAMNNN youuu!’

"You all can’t get rid of a single human...Useless...Useless....."

"Stop shouting...This human is just too slippery ..He is just running around.."

"If it’s that easy for you then why don’t you just go and get rid of him."

"Of course I will."

The demons roared at the top of their lungs.

"HUMAN!"

"Charging into a camp full of demons. Who gave you the courage to do that?"

"Hahaha!"

"I will kill you, bastard!"

BOOM!

The ground shook as a massive group of demons lunged toward Kael with terrifying force. Their steps crushed the soil and sent dust into the air.

Kael’s eyes narrowed as he looked around at the swarm. His hand gripped the hilt of his sword tightly. A calm breath left his mouth, and a faint mist escaped with it. His power began to rise, spreading cold pressure through the air.

He muttered under his breath.

"Oth form."

The demons rushed in, slashing their claws to tear him apart. But before they could strike, something invisible tore through their bodies.

Countless crimson lines drawn across the horizon that started ti

"Huh!"

"What was that?"

"Something went through me!"

"Me too—GYAAAAKKK!"

One demon screamed as his body suddenly split in half, falling forward with blood spraying across the dirt. The sound of flesh tearing filled the camp. His cry was followed by more as the others realized their bodies were being cut apart, pieces falling helplessly to the ground.

BANG!

The earth cracked as Kael stepped forward. His movements blurred, leaving afterimages in the air. Everywhere he passed, demons were sliced into pieces, falling without even knowing how they had died.

The world seemed to pause for a heartbeat. Invisible sword threads spread across the air, sharp enough to cut anything that touched them. They moved like a storm, unseen by the naked eye, but merciless in their path.

Those who tried to approach him were instantly torn apart.

Kael’s eyes scanned the blood-soaked ground, his breath calm but heavy.

"Damn," he thought. "If only this was real, I would have gained such a huge harvest by devouring them.."

"Sigh...Such a wasted opportunity."

CLANG. CLANG. CLANG. SHIING!

His blade rang with sharp sounds as more demons were torn to pieces. Their bodies scattered like scraps of paper in the wind. Kael moved through them like a storm of blades, merciless and unstoppable.

Screams filled the camp, mixing with the sound of tearing flesh and broken bones. Blood mist hung in the air, staining the land with a dark and dreadful weight.

Hal, the leader of the camp, could no longer watch in silence. Rage twisted across his face. With a furious scream, he charged forward, determined to crush Kael with his own hands.

Kael dashed forward again, his sword raised. But then, something massive appeared in front of him. A shadow fell over the ground.

A huge hand, dark and monstrous hand, came crashing down from above.

BOOOOOOM!

The impact shattered the land. The ground split apart, throwing rocks and debris high into the air. The force sent shockwaves through the camp.

Kael’s eyes widened for a brief second. His legs pushed against the ground, and he leapt back just in time to shoot hia body flying away from the crushing blow.

The giant hand left a deep crater where he had just stood. Cracks spread across the land, and the air grew heavy with the sound of destruction.

Kael steadied himself, gripping his sword again. His gaze fixed on the figure in front of him, his body tense but unshaken.

Kael spun his body in the air, preparing to land safely. But before his feet touched the ground, a huge ball of energy came flying at him with deadly force.

Kael’s hand tightened on his sword.

SHIIING!

The blade cut through the air. A sound like paper tearing echoed, and the ball of energy split apart in front of him. Pieces of the glowing mass fell to the ground and exploded.

BOOM! BOOM!

The blast shook the earth.

THUD!

Kael landed, his boots digging into the dirt. His eyes rose to the front, and his face grew sharp. The figure of Hal was changing.

The slender frame that once looked almost human twisted and broke. His skin tore open like paper. Bones cracked and reshaped. Blood sprayed as his old form ripped apart, and a monstrous body crawled out.

CLANG!

Dark horns tore out of his skull. His jaw stretched wide with fangs like blades. His body expanded, muscles swelling and tearing through the last pieces of his skin. A giant stood where Hal had been. A towering leviathan demon, its height stretching twenty to thirty meters.

"HUMAAAAAN!" his voice thundered like a storm. "TODAY I WILL CRUSH YOU!"

He pounded his chest with both fists.

BOOM! BOOM!

Each strike sent shockwaves ripping through the air. Sonic waves burst outward, and the ground cracked under the pressure.

"Kyahhh!" Demons screamed as their bodies were thrown around.

"Leader..." one of them cried in fear. "We are on your side—GURHHHH!"

Before he could finish, Hal’s massive foot came down. The soldier was crushed into blood and dust. Bones shattered like dry wood.

"Shut up, useless insects," Hal growled, his voice filled with madness as he stepped forward stepping over the demons.

Demons screamed and ran in every direction, their faces twisted in terror.

"Run!"

"Kyabah!"

"Leader, calm yourself...It’s me..."

Kael did not attack.

His sword lowered slightly as he watched Hal thrash around like a beast. The monster swung his arms and stomped on the ground, killing his own soldiers. Tents and wooden frames of the camp collapsed like toys, turning into heaps of broken ash.

Kael’s eyes remained steady as he waited for an opportunity.

Then Hal roared again and slammed his massive fist into the earth. The ground cracked and lifted. He tore out a huge chunk of rock from the earth and hurled it at Kael.

Kael’s eyes flashed cold.

"Hmph."

SWISH!

Kael images flickered swiftly a few distance away as if he teleported from his place.

The huge mass of stone crashed into the ground where Kael had been standing. Dust and broken earth filled the sky, but only an afterimage of Kael remained.

SWOOSH! SWOOOSH!

He moved in a blur, zigzagging through the rain of rocks. Each boulder struck with deafening force.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The battlefield was drowned in chaos. Demons cried as stones crushed them, their bodies flattened under the weight.

"Leader! Stop!"

"Aghhhh!"

"Nooo!"

SWOOSH! SWOOSH!

The giant demon Hal went crazy.

His massive arms hurled rocks and logs through the air. Each throw split the ground when it landed.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The battlefield shook. Dust and blood filled the air. Demons screamed as the rocks smashed into them.

"Leader! Stop!" one of them cried out, his voice broken with fear.

Another demon tried to run, but a boulder fell from above. It struck his head and body flat into the mud. Bones cracked like sticks. His blood spread out in a dark pool.

"Aghhhh!" a demon wailed as a log hit his chest sending him flying into the ground

His chest broke at once and he was flattened to the ground. He coughed blood before falling lifeless.

Others pushed each other, running in panic. The ground was littered with red.One demon tripped and before he could rise, another demon fell on him. The weight crushed them both. Their cries ended in wet silence.

"Nooo!" voices echoed.

Another massive rock came down. It tore through a line of demons, grinding them into the ground. Flesh and armor scattered like broken clay. The smell of blood grew stronger.

Some demons tried to crawl their way out only to be crushed.

Few who even managed to get out of place found but more stones came down, smashing them to dust.

The camp was chaotic. Screams rose and faded as bodies burst under the falling rocks. The air was thick with fear, heavy with death.

Kael darted forward, raising his sword to attack. His body moved like an arrow, sharp and unbending, cutting through everything in his path.

"Insect... Die..." Hal roared.

The demon leapt forward, his palm as wide as a house, and slammed down toward Kael.

BAAAAANG!

The ground split, dust bursting into the air. The impact sent tremors through the earth.

But from the gaps between Hal’s huge fingers, a figure shot upward into the sky. Kael soared, sword glowing in his grip.

The sword chimed and a blinding flash of crimson light erupted prepared to slash but before he could strike

TANG

Hal roared again. Both of his palms rose into the air.

CRUNNNNG!

Two hands appeared out of nowhere.

Another pair of hands tore out of Hal’s sides, ripping from his ribs in a spray of blood and black mist turning the demons in four hands.

The new arms slammed forward, joining the first pair to crush Kael between them.

The giant hands came together, slamming toward Kael, trying to crush him like a bug.
